I wake up in my old room. It's a cozy feeling to be back, even though I've embraced a different life in the Diamond Claw. The familiar sights and scents greet me, conjuring a whirlwind of nostalgia and happiness.

My room, a testament to the family traditions we hold dear, is a lovely reflection of the season. The walls once painted a serene blue, are now adorned with a light green hue, mirroring the freshness of spring. It's a tradition that's been carried through generations; the room's color changes to align with the current season.

I get up and put on my robe, go to the bathroom to wash my face, and come back to admire the changes in my room. As I glance around, I see an array of flowers. Vases filled with tulips, daffodils, and cherry blossoms adorn various corners of the room. A beautiful tapestry of nature's finest work, it's the family's way of celebrating each season's unique beauty all year round.

My window offers a view of the forest. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows that dance on my bedroom floor. The familiarity of the view, unchanged yet ever-evolving, tugs at my heartstrings.

Being home feels like a warm embrace, a reminder that even though I've come to love my life in the bustling Kaiden's pack, these serene moments at home are uniquely special.

Jake enters my room without even knocking on the door.

Well, he doesn't usually knock anyway.

Just thinking about the last time he knocked on the door, which was yesterday, makes me blush. But I stop thinking about it as soon as I see Jake's huge smile, and my vision goes straight to his neck.

"Oh my Goddess!" I jump with happiness and go to him and hug him tightly. He just widens his smile, which I thought was impossible because I've never seen him so smiling. "Tell me everything!"

I direct him to my bed, and he sits with me, both of us resting our backs on the headboard.

"I can't believe it took me this long to accept this," he confesses, as he shakes his head and runs his hand over his neck. When he touches Jay's mark, he opens his eyes wide as if remembering that he was marked and gives a smile after his eyes only show happiness.

"How did your parents react?" I ask, but what I want to ask is something else, but I try to contain my curiosity.

"Well, I don't know where to start. In fact, they just acted so natural, as if they had been waiting for Jay for a long time." He looks at me in disbelief. "They didn't even question anything, they're just now coddling Jay. My dad doesn't stop talking about his work for a second. Well, since they're both Beta, I kind of understand." he says, smiling.

"I told you! It's impossible for anyone to hate Jay!" I say. I was waiting to say to him 'I told you so'.

"My mother takes Jay to show him our pack, and she didn't even ask me to go with them. She said she wants to spend time with her other son. I know she actually wants to show all her friends that her son found his fated mate." He shakes his head in disapproval, even though his eyes show happiness.

"And what do you think about that?" I ask, already knowing what the answer will be.

He looks at me and smiles. "He's fit into my family so well that, honestly, it doesn't feel like they've known him for such a short time. It feels like my parents have known him for years. Which makes me happy but at the same time terrible because I mistreated Jay when I found out about our bond," he says, looking away.

"The important thing is that now you've marked yourselves, and nothing else matters," I say, raising an eyebrow at him, and he laughs.

"I know you're holding back your curiosity," he says, his smile widening, "but *there's not much to tell you that you haven't already experienced if I listened correctly yesterday*."

My face instantly flushes, and I grab one of the pillows and hit him in the face. "Hey!" I say, and he laughs. "Don't change the subject. Tell me everything!"

"It was... perfect. I had never been with any boy before, and I didn't really know what to expect. I didn't imagine it would be the best sex I've ever had in my life. And when we marked each other? That was just surreal!" he speaks confidently.

My first time with Kaiden was literally my first time, too. I had no experience before, but it was so delicious, so good, that it was completely worth waiting for my fated mate.

Without completing our mate bond, it's already good... I just can't wait for when he marks me.

I know that the bite to mark a fated mate doesn't hurt. If anyone else decides to mark someone, it could hurt a lot.

The bite of the chosen mate is the only one where the pain is more tolerable, but it still hurts because fated mates were made to be together.

We all had breakfast together, this time Jake and Jay joined us, as did his parents.

His parents were more than surprised that we all found our fated mates, and said it was written in the stars for this to happen.

I've never seen a couple as cheerful as them. I love them both, they are my second parents.

I filled my belly more than I should have, it's impossible to resist the delicacies that Beth cooks! However, once again, Kaiden didn't eat almost anything, which leads me to question how such a big and strong guy doesn't eat almost anything.

When my parents were concerned to ask him about it, I interrupted and brought up another subject, they noticed and left it alone, even though my mother looked at me as if she wanted to know the reason later.

Well, I don't even know, mom.

But I don't want to make him uncomfortable.

"We haven't even been walking for fifteen minutes, and you're already panting, I can carry you if you want," Kaiden says, and I give him a smile, we're heading to the center of the Celestial Forest. "However, I must say, you should try harder in the morning training because you are breathless," I smile and roll my eyes at him.

I ate enough for three people. It's obvious that I'm panting, I'm carrying extra pounds.

"We're almost there," I say, more to myself than to him. I didn't remember it would take so long.

However, the path is so beautiful that I don't want to go in a hurry.

"I'm impressed. I didn't know there was such a beautiful forest here," Kaiden expresses, looking around while holding my hand.

"That's because you haven't reached the center of the forest yet," I tell him and point towards the center of the forest, where there are three huge trees.

"Wow!" Kaiden stops walking and looks in awe as if the world stops around him, "I've never seen something so... unique! What kind of trees are those?" he asks in awe, and I smile at his reaction as I pull him by the hand so we can continue walking to see the trees closer.

"Well, I present to you our three sacred trees. Visitors are not allowed here. Only members of our pack can visit this place, and it is my family's duty to take care of the trees and protect them," I say with pride.

Arriving at the center of the forest, we can see the gentle waters of the island that cradles the three trees in its embrace. In the heart of the island, three grand trees stand tall, forming a perfect equilateral triangle.

Birdsong provides a melodic backdrop as we walk along the path that leads to the island.

Kaiden looks at the water, and I can see his look of devotion around the place. Another small perk that I learned about him: he really appreciates nature.

I also look at the crystal-clear water that isn't overly deep, revealing glimpses of vibrant fish darting playfully beneath the surface that calls this pristine haven their home.

"What fucking place is this?" he says in disbelief.
