Werewolf
Falling in love with my Ex's Alpha Chapter 121
***Kaiden***
All I want is his blood spilled on the floor.
All I want is to strangle him. This is all this fucker's fault.
He's been plotting this betrayal for a long time because it's been a while since I killed Becca's fucking mate.
My little sun is pregnant. She is more vulnerable than ever!
I shouldn't have done what she wanted. I should have marked her.
Now, she is far from me without my mark. Without my scent.
What if someone marks her before me? Fuck my life.
It better nothing happens to her. Otherwise, this fucker will suffer at my hands.
And the worst of all is that I don't even know what to do with him. I need his help so I can find my mate. Without him, it would be an impossible task.
Plus, I don't even know how Katie would react if she found out I killed him. She might never forgive me.
She's a good person, she doesn't have a hint of evil in her heart, and besides, *she likes this fucker*. She certainly wouldn't forgive me if she killed him.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Chad's fat crocodile tears don't fool me. I know he's crying, not because he hurt her. It's because I got Katie pregnant first.
After I announced her pregnancy to them, my entire pack practically knew about it. Everyone was horrified and worried about her.
I've never seen them act like that. Everyone wants to help find her.
That was why I summoned all my warriors to the Elite Training Center–ETC. They are gathered around me now, looking expectantly for me to start barking my orders.
I wait until everyone is present and start with the main order.
"As you all probably know, your Luna was kidnapped," I can feel the worry in the air exuding from them, "and for those who don't know, she is pregnant, waiting for the future heir of the pack," I reveal. However, I don't tell them why she is in this situation. This is not the time to panic.
I look furiously at Chad standing next to Jason and Jacob, he's still recovering from the beating I gave him, little does he know that it wasn't even close to what he'll receive in the future.
"From today on, Isabel is my new Gamma," I look in her direction, and she makes a surprised face while everyone makes noises in disbelief that I'm taking Chad out of his rank.
"But Alpha–"
"Not now, Isabel." I interrupt her. Now is not the time to discuss anything about this; we need to start acting in search of my little mate.
Isabel looks at Chad and then at me, gives me a short bow, and says proudly with a smile on her face, "Yes, Alpha, it's an honour to be your new Gamma."
I continue my orders despite noticing the look that Jason and Jacob exchange with each other. "Dean, gather a team with the minimum number of warriors to protect the pack's border–"
"Alpha, after the attack, it would be better to have more people there," Jason interrupts me, and I do my best to keep my cool and not explode before I save my mate.
"Beta, you know very well that we are already short of warriors as they are distributed in my new packs, helping them to recover after the second round–"
"We can call for help from another pack," Jacob interjects, and I take another deep breath. This fucker might just want to see me lose my cool because it's only over my dead body that I'm going to ask my mate's pack for help. They don't even have enough people to protect themselves.
"We can call Katie's parents–"
"No!" I shout in their direction.
I don't want them to know she was kidnapped. I don't even have the courage to look at her loving parents and say that I wasn't able to protect their precious daughter. I feel ashamed just at the possibility of them finding out about this.
Of course, I don't say that out loud. I will never admit that to this fucker or anyone.
I can't show weakness, and summoning her parents here would be a great example of that.
'Stupid human, what matters most here right now is our mate's safety, all help is welcome,' Troy snarls to me in my mind.
"Then we can call Alpha Benjamin's pack," I narrow my eyes at Jacob, but he isn't intimidated, he continues talking, "I'm sure he'll want to help when he hears that Katie is in danger, " I was about to deny it again until he continued, "more than half of his pack is made of highly trained warriors, I was going to study there, but Katie decided to come here, and I came with her."
Jason holds his hand and smiles at him as if saying it was the best decision he made.
I envy Jason right now because he's close to his mate.
I would like to deny it, but Jacob's idea makes sense; Alpha Benjamin's well-trained warriors would be a real fucking help. Different from Katie's pack because at Three Tree, they almost don't have that many warriors.
I take a deep breath and pinch the bridge of my nose as I say in defeat, "Are you in contact with him?"
"Yes, I'm going to talk to him right now," Jacob wastes no time and starts typing on his cell phone.
I continue with my orders, "Dean, go to the border with a standard number of warriors."
"Yes, Alpha," he nods and leaves the room, pointing to some people in the middle of the path who are following behind him.
I bark a few more orders to Levi, Max and other supervisors to keep the pack safe, and when everyone leaves, there are only Jason, Chad, Jacob and me left in the room. And before I start threatening Chad, Jacob says, "Kaiden, Ben said he can get here in three hours. He will come with a big team with him," his voice of relief doesn't make me any less relaxed. On the contrary, I'm on edge.
I turn to the motherfucker and say firmly, "You have two hours to find my mate."
"But Alpha Benjamin doesn't get here in three hours," he still dares to retort. "What will you do with this free hour?"
"Kill you, of course."
