I can see Kaiden. But my eyes don't see how they usually see him. I can see everything with so much detail and so much precision!

Ruby's head looks around us, and I can see every little detail that I haven't seen before. I'm impressed to see so many details, even at night, with only the moonlight illuminating our surroundings.

She looks back at Kaiden. It seems that neither she nor Kaiden can take their attention away from each other.

He widens his eyes and smiles at her again, but what I hear is not Kaiden's voice, but another voice full of emotion, a voice more animalistic and deeper than Kaiden's, 'I've waited for you for so long! For both of you!'

'And that wasn't enough for you to want me around,' she says coldly, stopping licking Kaiden and looking him in the eyes. I realize that the conversation is no longer between the two of us but between the four of us.

'Ruby!' I hear Kaiden's worried voice.

'I'm sorry, Ruby,' I say, suddenly feeling selfish for prioritizing my pack's safety while my wolf was imprisoned this entire time.

Just thinking about *my time* imprisoned in that *hell*... Oh, Goddess! 'I didn't know you felt like that!'

'I felt like I was being punished!' she growls at me in my head. I see through her eyes, Kaiden winces as he looks into our eyes, he and Ruby are paralyzed, she is still on top of him. Troy is wider and taller than any wolf I've ever seen, and I'm impressed that Ruby is almost the same height as him.

He attacks Ruby savagely, rubs against her neck and licks her face. Suddenly, they both howl towards the moon.

It's something so... magical! Wild! I never imagined doing this, and look at me, here I am doing it.

They waste no time, even though Ruby has been dormant for so long, she runs quickly towards the forest, aimlessly, just happy to finally be free!

Troy follows her by her side, 'You are so fucking beautiful!' Troy mindlinks us, and I feel like her heart won't fit in her chest at his compliment.

She deserves this time with her mate, especially after everything she's been through.

I've never seen Troy as happy as I am now. I once apologized to him for not having a wolf, and he told me he loved me regardless, but now, seeing their interaction, I realize that it was our fate that the four of us were together.
