I took a deep breath and started running back when I was calmer.

When I almost reached her, we were already getting close to the bench where her backpack was.

"And n-now?" she asked as she caught her breath. She was bent over with her hands on her knees. That way, I could see even more of her breasts. I stared at it for a while before answering.

She's fucking tempting me too much! This is so unfair.

"Let's do attack training and then self-defense," I said, and she immediately fixed her stance. "You can attack me," I said with a smirk when I noticed she was looking at my ripped abs.

When she saw that, I noticed she blushed and looked away.

Is she enjoying what she's seeing?

"Okay," she said and walked towards me.

I could only notice the sway of her hips and the movement her hair made as she walked towards me, The sun was already rising, and some flashes of light were shining on her hair, and it looked like her hair was on fire. I can't deny it: Katie is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

She started to attack me without ceremony, her movements are fast for a human, to tell the truth, her movements are too fast. Maybe if she was taller or a human man, I would expect so much agility and strength from her, but she is so tiny. Wait, I can't believe she almost punched me in the stomach.

I needed to concentrate a little on what she was doing because I also didn't want to hurt her by dodging a blow. Any sudden movement from me could break her bone.

After some time, I saw that she was already panting, and before I said to stop, she finally hit me. She punched me in the arm, it wasn't hard enough to hurt me, but I was surprised she managed to hit me.

She widened her eyes in shock. My bunny worries about me.

"You're not as weak as I thought," I said with an air of superiority, but that wasn't the tone I meant.

"Or you're not as tough," she responded with a smirk on her face.

How dare she? She's getting more and more insolent!

"What did you say?" I asked coldly, and she took a step back with a scared face. I was amused watching her reaction.

I ran to her, and in one swift motion, I put her on the ground, and with one of my hands, I put her arms above her head. She was squirming to let her go. I stopped for a second to enjoy the view of her in that position.

I had to control myself a lot not to tear this pink set of hers and claim her right here and right now.

"Alpha?" One of the warriors approached us. Usually, they arrive earlier to train, but today I asked them to arrive a little later.

We both looked at the group of warriors next to us who were staring at us without understanding what was happening.

Katie looked at me, and I quickly got up and lifted her with me. Out of nowhere, she was in front of me when one of the female warriors started to say something to me.

"We'll start training. Are you going to request something specific?" Beth asked with a smile at the corner of her lips as she looked from Katie to me.

Katie spread her arms wide and placed her hands on her waist, covering me fully to her height. Is she hiding me so Beth can't see me shirtless?

"You can start. I'll talk to you in a bit," I said, and they headed towards the other side of the park.

Katie swiftly grabbed a nearby washcloth from her backpack and discreetly positioned it in front of me. With her gentle gesture, she shielded my defined abdomen from the gazes of others so no one could look. But the fabric barely covers 10 percent of my body. It is like a napkin it's so small. Although, I found it amusing to see her trying to hide me so others wouldn't see my body.

I was caught off guard by her sudden action. Was she jealous? Even though her protective gesture was ridiculously inefficient, I felt an overwhelming sense of being wanted.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Y-You shouldn't be naked like that in front of others! I'm sparing others the embarrassment of seeing you shirtless!" she said, and I started laughing. She's so cute. She makes such an adorable jealous face.

"Is that right, kitten? Or do you not want others to see me?" I challenged with a raised eyebrow.

She took the washcloth off at once and used it like a whip to hit me on the forearm. In the corner of my eye, I saw the warriors surprised, impressed, and others laughing. Surely, they heard everything.

'Our mate is jealous of us!' Troy cheered.

"Training is over for today, I need to go to work," she said, putting her belongings back in her bag and pulling on her sweatshirt.

"Same time tomorrow?" I asked, eager for her to say yes.

"Tomorrow, I'm going to train with Jake!" she huffed, and I started to get annoyed.

"Why are you going to train with him?" I asked coldly.

"Because I want to," she replied smugly, not caring about me.

While I'm proud of her determination to always train and the fact that she's stronger than I ever expected, I'm still jealous that it's Jacob who trained her all this time to get her to be like this.

And worse, she prefers to train with him.

'If you weren't a fucking idiot, our mate would be training with us!' Troy growled, 'I want to bite that Jacob's throat,' he said, and I agreed with him.

"I'll give you a ride home. Let's go," I commanded her seriously so that she didn't dare say no when I saw that she was texting Jacob to come to get her. I will never let any male be around my mate any more than necessary.

She didn't say anything, she just followed me to the parking lot.

Despite the bitter taste of her last words today, it was really nice to be with her. I actually don't remember the last time I woke up and had such a pleasant morning.
