"Hi," I said shyly.

"Let's go," he said sharply and then turned towards the exit of my building, I closed the door and then followed him.

Did he have to be so moody? And so hot?

No, Katie, don't think about it. I shook my head to block out that thought.

When we left the building, he opened the car door for me, and I got in. Okay, maybe he's not that cranky.

He got in and started driving. We were silent, I didn't know which park we were going to, much less what to say to him.

"Where are we going?" I asked, and he didn't answer. I understood that he didn't want to talk, so I stayed quiet, waiting to get there.

When we arrived at the park, I saw that despite the park being remote, there were quite a few people. I looked around and realized that nearby was the restaurant I had gone to with Chad, I smiled at the memory of that day.

He parked the car, and at an impressive speed, he was already on the other side to open the car door for me, and I got out. I started to follow the direction he was going. He was walking fast, and because of that, I was trying to walk as fast as possible, but it looked like I was stalking him. He stopped abruptly, and I hit my face on his back, I got scared of his possible reaction, and and I took two steps back.

"Can you walk beside me? Is there any way you can be faster?" He asked coldly. I just nodded my head in agreement.

He kept walking fast, and even though I was trying hard, I was still falling behind, it looked like he was running from someone.

Everyone that looked at him and started walking in the other direction. Although they greeted him by bowing their heads, they looked scared to see Kaiden.

When I saw a bench, I pointed to it.

"Look, there's a bench over there. Let's sit for a while," I said, and he sighed. It seems he gets annoyed with everything I do. We went to the bench and sat down.

"Did I do something wrong? You look upset," I said, trying to understand why he was like that, after a while in silence. He did not answer. Of course.

"If you want this to work, you can't look like you're against your will around me," I told him when I saw that no one was around.

It hurt my heart to see him like this by my side. Am I that repulsive?

Some people passed by and saw us, they all widened their eyes but continued on their way.

It was getting colder and colder when I realized I was already shivering.

"If you want, we can leave," I suggested, not only was I feeling uncomfortable, but I was already pissed off about this situation. He proposed this contract, not me.

"No," was all he said, putting an arm in front of me, preventing me from getting up. I sat back, I relaxed a little after the startle of his gruff voice.

He lowered his arm slowly, and his hand was on top of mine. He then looked at me.

"You're freezing," he stated. Did I see a trace of worry in his eyes?

He cupped my hands in his, and I felt the warmth of his hand warming me, I felt better immediately. It is not snowing, but there is still snow accumulated in several places in the park.

"Do you want something to drink, little bunny?" He asked, looking in my eyes, and I immediately blushed at the pet name, and I looked away. I don't even know what to answer after that pet name.

Is not he a cruel man? What kind of wicked man says that? I tried to pretend I didn't care, but my heart was jumping with joy, I want to drink something, but just thinking about him taking his hands over my hand, I'd rather die of thirst.

"No need, it's okay," I said with my head down.

"Let's go," was all he said. Why is he so bossy?

He took his hands away from my hand, and I missed him immediately. He started walking towards the restaurant that Chad and I had gone to.

It took a while, but we arrived, and the owner of the restaurant came to greet Kaiden personally.

"Alpha, it's good to see you here. I'll prepare a perfect table with a great view for you two," the wrinkles of happiness for having the Alpha in his restaurant were evident on the restaurant owner's face, despite realizing that he was also afraid of Kaiden.

When an alpha visits a commercial establishment, it always starts to increase profits because people like to trust the Alpha's likes.

Just as I remembered, the view of the place was terrific. This time, the landscape still had snow but much less because a part had already melted. Spring is coming.

We were at a table on a separate balcony. No one from the restaurant can see what we are doing, and we also have an incredible view.

The waitress asked what we wanted, and I said a hot chocolate, but Kaiden just shook his head when she asked what he wanted.

When she came with my drink, I took a sip right away. I just wanted to warm up because my hands were freezing.

I was already embarrassed because Kaiden kept staring at me. We are sitting on a bench facing the landscape. His leg was almost touching mine.

"Are you still cold?" He asked, finally saying something to me since we got here.

"No, I'm already feeling better," I replied, but I would rather say *'Give me your hands back, please!'*

I got up and leaned against the wall while looking at the landscape, he followed me and stood in front of me, looking at me, I blushed and looked at the floor.

"The landscape is on the side, Alpha," I said, smiling and pointing to the landscape.

"The view from here is better," he said, looking into my eyes, and my heart started to beat fast, just like the day I saw him the first time. I tried to contain my smile.

We were silent, and I tried to pretend I didn't care about him staring at me. The cold was returning to my body, and I started to shiver a little from the cold and nervousness.

He noticed and took a step towards me and took both my hands, trying to warm up. I looked at him and smiled.

Seeing him up close now, without so much blood like the first time I saw him, and also without talking about the contract, it's a totally different Kaiden. He looks nervous but calm at the same time. His lips looked like they were calling me. When he approached, I could smell him a little, and I wanted to get even closer to him.

I bit my lip, trying to control this urge that seems to pull me towards him. Until I couldn't take it anymore. I rose on tiptoe and kissed him.
