Werewolf
Falling in love with my Ex's Alpha Chapter 83
I widen my eyes and turn my head to look at my parents and him, not knowing what to do. Jason was so direct to the point that he didn't even let me prepare the territory beforehand.
"Is this serious?" My dad asks, and I look between him and my mom before nodding slowly.
"Thank, Goddess Selena! Jason! What an honor to meet you!" My mom goes to him and hugs him, and what does Jay do? Hug her back, even more excited.
"You finally showed up. It's about time!" My father talks to him and hugs him afterward. They hugged Jay with more excitement than they hugged me!
What the fuck?
"Wait! Did you hear what I said?" I question them. I can't believe what I'm seeing.
"Yes, he is your fated mate, right?" my mom says, hugging Jay again as soon as my dad lets him go.
"Yes. He is... but..." I don't know what to say, and my father smiles when he sees me confused.
"But?" my father says.
"Yeah, Jake. But what?" Jay says with a naughty smile.
"Won't you freak out because he's a man?" I shout, already bursting with nervousness. "You won't freak out because my fated mate isn't what you expected?" I run my hand through my hair in anger, trying to calm myself down.
I definitely didn't expect this reaction from them.
"What?" my father asks, confused.
"Don't you think that's wrong? Aren't you even angry to hear that?" I ask so harshly that my mother gets scared.
"Baby, do you want us to be angry?" she asks while holding Jay around the waist and resting her head on his arm.
Jay starts to giggle at my outburst. "It's not funny, Jason!" I yell at him.
"Mom, you always wanted to have grandchildren!" I ask her, and she turns her head to the side before answering.
"Jake, your grandfather was adopted. If you want, you can adopt too!" she says.
"Son, we will always choose your happiness. Why are you reacting like this? It seems like you want us not to support your bond!" my father asks.
My eyes start to fill with tears because, until now, I hadn't stopped to realize the weight I had put on my back. My parents are wonderful. They have always supported me.
My father comes to me and hugs me, "I'm sorry if you felt pressured in any way, son. We only want the best for you." He says, and I tighten his hug as my tears fall down my face.
"Oh, honey. Don't cry," my mom joins in the hug, and Jake joins in next, too.
I dry the tears from my face. "I'm sorry. I just didn't expect this reaction from you. I was expecting you to reject our bond." I say when they release the hug, and Jay holds my hand, comforting me in a way he has no idea.
"Never! We love you, and we would never do that!" My mother says and wipes the tears from her face.
We sit on the couch, and my dad asks. "How did you find him?"
"Well, Jay is Diamond Claw's Beta," I say, and my mom looks at him in surprise and then looks at me.
"Well done!" she says, and Jay laughs.
"Jake... What are you going to do about your position as Three Tree's future Beta?" my father asks apprehensively.
He is the current Beta, and when Dustin takes over the pack, which will probably be soon because he found Char, his fated mate, I was supposed to be the new Beta.
I thought I would have more time to think and decide about it, I didn't know that my fated mate's sister would be my future Luna.
"I haven't really thought about it yet. But I have news that everyone will already know." I look at Jay, and he smiles and nods before I say, "Jay's sister is Dustin's fated mate!"
"Oh my Goddess!" my mother says as she puts her hand over her mouth in disbelief.
"That's good news! It's about time. The poor pup has been waiting to meet her for so long!" my father says.
"I still can't believe Char is going to be Luna!" Jay says. "My parents died early in a raid on our pack, and she has been taking care of me ever since."
"I'm sure she'll be a great Luna! I'm already looking forward to meeting her!" My mother says.
We talked a little more, Jay telling us about himself and Char. Then, he talked more about him, about how we met, and about his work at Diamond Claw. My father's pride in hearing him speak is very obvious, written all over his face.
"You're too good to be real," my mom tells him, and everyone laughs.
"That is my only red flag!" he says, convinced.
It didn't take much. Before the conversation was over, my parents were already in love with him.

"Would you rather have children in the future, or... would you rather be just the two of us?" Jay asks me.
After talking to my parents, we went to his room to take a shower before eating something.
"I'd rather it be just the two of us. What about you?" I respond as I sit in an armchair next to his bed, he sits on his bed.
"If you want it to be just the two of us, then I'll go with no children!" he answers.
"But you want the other option. You told me you wanted a big family, Jay." I ask, looking away.
"No, I want you," he says and gets up from the bed, comes to me, holds my hand, and raises me up.
I look into his eyes, unsure of what to do. "Let's take a bath?" he asks, and I nod, trying to control the smile on my face.
Jay's cellphone starts ringing, and he answers it after taking a deep breath and growling. I don't think I'm the only one who's looking forward to taking a shower with him.
He puts the call on speaker, "Jason, have you guys arrived yet? I tried calling Katie, but she's not answering." Chad speaks on the other end of the call.
"She must be busy with Kaiden," Jay responds, and Chad remains silent.
I look at Jay, and he shrugs. "She probably doesn't even care about me anymore," Chad speaks in a sad voice, and my eyebrows arch in surprise. He doesn't know I'm listening.
But I don't think he would mind. Chad became a great friend, and I felt bad that he and Katie didn't get together because I think he deserves her more than Kaiden.
However, this decision is not mine.
"She's not like that. She's really nice." Jay responds.
"Of course she is. She's nice and sweet, and that only makes it worse." Chad says, "I can't believe I lost her... I... It's hard... I need to go, don't say anything to Katie."
Chad hangs up then, and Jason takes a deep breath. "I know. It hasn't been easy for him." I say, and he nods.
"Come on," he says and directs me to the bathroom and I smile wider.
