After arriving home, I went straight to the shower, I didn't talk to Jake during the whole journey like we always do. The weight of my mistake on my conscience was killing me, I didn't feel like talking to him anymore.

As soon as I got out of the shower, I grabbed my phone and placed it in front of me on top of the bedside table. I need to talk to Chad, I made a mistake, and it wasn't right what I did.

I put on a pleated babydoll and panties as I look at the phone screen with Chad's contact open, I'm thinking about how to talk to him.

Should I call? I think it's better to send a message... I don't even know how to put into words what I should say to him... Then, I decided, it's better to send a message.

'*Chad... I'm sorry I kissed you earlier in front of everyone like that. It was a mistake. I shouldn't have done that. I know how you feel, and I shouldn't have done what I did.*'

I reread it endlessly before sending it to him. After less than a minute, I got his reply.

'*If you think that was a mistake, you're allowed to make mistakes with me every time. You can make mistakes whenever you want, please!*' he replied.

I laughed and reread his response several times. At least it alleviated my guilt. But I learned from my mistake.

We keep texting each other until he says he's busy and needs to focus on his task. I'm surprised because he rarely answers me like that. Usually, it happens when he's on a mission... I hope he's okay.

I lay in bed, and before sleep consumes me, I start thinking about the kiss I would like to give Kaiden.

*The forest is dark around me, and I start to run fast, but something is wrong.*

*I still can't tell why I'm running so fast. I look to the side, and out of nowhere, I can clearly see small objects that I usually can't see, like a small spider in its web in a tree far away from my path*.

*I continue to run at a frantic speed. Something is wrong. I can feel it, but what will it be*?

*I keep looking around me, and it seems that I'm getting deeper and deeper into the heart of the forest*.

*Around me, there are trees of all sizes, with wide and thin trunks, with leaves and without leaves, I can't identify where I am because I know that I've never been here before*.

*I can hear someone's scream of suffering in the background, far away from me. Who is suffering like this*?

*I try to locate who is dying, but it's too far away, I can't identify where the person is. But I can hear the pleas for mercy*.

*Goddess Selena, help me find this person, help me help this person*!

*I squint my eyes to try to focus on what's in front of me, but all I see is the dark forest, I can't see anyone*.

*I run, I accelerate my speed even more. Why am I running so fast? I look down, and it's not legs, it's paws that used to be my legs. I get scared and try to look around me. What is going on*?

*"Help me, I can't take it anymore!" I hear someone cry out for help*.

*'Wake up, Katie! Go help him,' a voice speaks over me, however, I cannot see who is talking, it seems that the sound comes from the tops of the trees*.

*When I look down, I see a blue sign written 'Sunnyside Park,' and suddenly I wake up*.

With my hand on my super racing heart, I try to calm myself, my breathing is struggling. I've never had a dream like this, so vivid, so lucid. But I can't get someone's cry for help out of my head.

What kind of crazy dream was that? I take a glass of water that is on my nightstand and drink half of it, then I take my phone.

Where is that park located?

I type 'Sunnyside Park' into the browser and see what comes up.

Oh, my Goddess! This park is right here in the pack, just a short distance from my house.

Should I go there?

What if someone needs help right now? I won't be able to sleep with this on my mind.

I had this dream for some reason. That's it! I'm going. I throw a robe over my babydoll and leave the room. If someone is in need of help, I don't have time to delay, I need to get there as quickly as possible.

After a few minutes of running towards the park and checking the location on my phone at the same time, I look at my feet and see that I left the house in slippers, I left in such a hurry that I didn't even realize that I left with the most inappropriate shoe possible.

When I see the sign saying 'Sunnyside Park,' I turn on the flashlight of my phone and start to enter the park, then I turn it off because there's not much need, the light of the full moon is so clear that even with my human eyes, I can see everything around me.

I hear scary growls, and I start to wonder if it is a good idea to come here... come here alone.... and without any weapons at such a time.

But I push those thoughts aside and keep running toward the snarls.

Why am I doing that? Because I am dumb? Yes, apparently, I am.

Suddenly, I see two wolves and a man in front of me, but they are far away. The closer I get, the more I can identify what is happening.

Not so far away now, I can see that one wolf is looking like an angry and possessed beast while another wolf is trying to stop him from doing something. On their other side is Chad trying to contain this possessed big black wolf as well.

When Chad sees me, he widens his eyes and yells at me, "Katie! What are you doing here? Go away, run!" He turns to continue what he's doing but adds, "We don't know how long we're going to hold out!"

All I hear is growling, and for a second, I think about running, I shouldn't be here. If this wolf catches me, he'll kill me before I can even ask the goddess Selena to have a wolf in her next incarnation.

But as I'm stupid, I keep standing, looking at the situation in front of me, and I take a step forward.

Suddenly, the giant black wolf notices me and starts to get angrier and fight with the other wolf to try to come towards me.

*Run, Katie, run*!

But I don't move. I remain as still as a tree in the forest while the big, angry wolf finally manages to defeat the other wolf and starts running toward me.

"No!" Chad yells from afar.

The wolf runs with frightening speed towards me. It looks like he will devour me at any moment.

But I don't know what comes over me, and instead of running from the big devil wolf, I run towards him. Halfway there, I trip and hit my knees and the palms of my hands on the ground. I look up, and the big black wolf is a few feet away from me, growling.

I crawl over to him and get up. Even though when I am standing up, I'm still shorter than him, I look at him and put both my hands on his face, he keeps growling at me, and I come closer, and I dare to hug him.

It was from this wolf that I heard calling for help. He was the one in my dreams. I tighten the hug even more, and he stops growling.

Suddenly, I fall to my knees on the floor, and he bends down to remain in the embrace at my height. I feel him calming down. He places both paws on my shoulders as if he's hugging me back.

I pet his fur with my hand and move away a little to see his face. The big black not-so-angry-anymore wolf has his eyes closed, but something catches my attention.

There's a scar on his forehead that goes from his eye, across his eyebrow to his ear. I've seen that scar before and would know it anywhere. Kaiden!

I'm hugging the giant black wolf.

And that giant black wolf is Kaiden.
