***The Healer***

That’s not fucking possible!

I would pinch myself to wake me up from this nightmare slash dream, but my body is so sore that I don’t even know if it’s worth it.

He is my fated mate! He’s *mine*!

How was it possible for me to only find out this when he made his first shift?

Generally, being dormant wolves does not prevent them from finding their fated mates.

Another mystery that surrounds him.

But I don’t give two shits about it. What matters is that he is my fated mate. Mine!

As I watch from not so far away, I can’t believe what my eyes see in front of me.

It’s as if the sun itself descended into the chaos, a radiant force totally different from my dark one.

The giant cream golden wolf radiates an aura of strength and power, oppressing the motherfucking rogues like mere fleeting shadows against its brilliance.

As the rogues circle and attack, my mate’s wolf movements are akin to the sun’s rays, piercing through the darkness with unwavering determination. Oh, and let’s not forget the radiant glow of his fur that seems to blaze with the fire of a thousand suns, illuminating all around us with his incandescent dominant presence.

How can one creature possess such ferocity and grace?

I’m in shock watching him move and kill one by one in a way I’ve never seen before.

As he swipes and snarls, I don’t know if I’m proud to have such a fierce fated mate or if I feel unworthy of being his fated mate. I should have known he wasn’t *just* anyone.

This kind of power is only found in ancient books! I’ve never witnessed anything like this before.

Frankly, I half-expect to find out about his grandeur or something in these old books.

His movements are a symphony of grace and ferocity as if they were personally blessed by the celestial beings above us. His wolf fights as if the larger number of rogues around him means nothing to him. It’s so fucking hot that it awakens a primal urge in me.

The golden wolf looks around the area, hunting his next prey. With every clash, my disbelief grows, for I never imagined such a power could exist. Yet, there it is a beacon of strength and brutality amidst the chaos of battle, leaving me in awe of my mate’s majestic presence.

I call him Prince, but what I really should call him is Alpha. He’s a fucking big Alpha.

To be honest, his Alpha aura seems to be superior to any other Alpha aura I’ve ever felt.

My Prince is an Alpha! My Prince, with his innocent and adorable eyes, is actually a fierce Alpha.

I didn’t see that coming at all!

Somehow, even though I’m all bruised up, as I look at the battle in front of me that looks more like carnage, I can only think about defending myself that I deserve someone like him.

Hell, yeah!

He’s powerful and all that, but let’s not get too carried away.

*I* was the one who took care of him when he needed it most. *I* was the one who fed him and gave him a bath and shelter. If it hadn’t been for me, he would have died a long time ago!

When I recognized him as my fated mate, he didn’t even bother to look at me... what if he doesn’t want to be my mate?

Well, he might have saved my life now, but I’ve saved his life at least four times since I met him, but really, who’s counting?

‘YOU! You’re the one counting! Stop being petty! He will not reject us!’ Tyra growls in my mind, utterly angered by my defensive thoughts.

My body is starting to heal itself, my wounds are closing, and I feel my vision getting back to normal.

It’s about time!

Nox’s extraordinary wolf emerges triumphant from the battle after killing the last rogue. I was going to celebrate and go to him, but something happened.

He lets out a howl of pain that makes my ears hurt. However, the pain of feeling my mate’s suffering is more significant.

He suddenly shifts back just as quickly as he shifts to his wolf. Naked and in front of me, he puts his hand on his head as if he can’t bear the pain.

He glances at me through his dark blue eyes, and although he is in pain, he still shows me a small smile on his full lips. His brown wavy hair is tousled around his jawline, which seems to be carved in stone.

‘We should move! Now!’ Tyra rushes me sharply.

She’s right! We need to get out of here urgently. Despite him being in this state, my mind only remembers that that Norman guy went after his contact from the Bloodmoon pack to tell him that they found the red wolf — none other than me.

They can appear here anytime now. If they are not already on the way!

It’s too dangerous to stay here or hide nearby. We need to run far away.

Maybe it’s better to come here to get what we planned when there are more people. Fuck! I hate assigning my shit to other people to do.

I should be able to do this without putting the fucking lives of the people around me in danger!

Even though I’m still feeling dizzy, I force myself to get up and go to where my backpack is on the ground. I take out one of the spare clothes that I put in case I need it — and I end up needing it — and put it on immediately.

It’s a simple post-shift outfit that doesn’t draw anyone’s attention. The problem is that there are no extra clothes for Nox.

I look at him when I finish putting on my boots.

Fuck! I should have got extra clothes. What about now? What should I do?

His clothes tore when he shifted.

‘Use that rogue’s one over there,’ Tyra says with a firm tone.

‘Are you crazy? Those clothes of his are dirty and stinky,’ I retort.

‘It’s better than him running naked! No one is allowed to see him naked. Just us!’ She snarls.

‘Okay, okay!’

She’s right. He can wear these dirty clothes until we go to the cave that has a hot spring, and then we can wash them for him to wear until we get to the cave close to our territory.

My slow, shaking hands begin to undress the rogue I killed before giving him the opportunity to shift. Lucky for us, he was the biggest among them.

My hands touch his skin. Ew!

When I finished taking off his clothes, I kicked him. Pig!

It was only fitting that he met this end. He deserved this fate.

*I hope the crows come to eat him before anyone comes here.*

I run close to Nox, he is lying on the ground. His body is not as injured as it was before he shifted because he healed himself, but it seems that the pain in his head is extreme.

I lay his head in my lap, ‘I’m here, Prince,’ I say softly.

He opens his eyes and looks at me. I can sense his pain the same way I feel sparks wherever my skin touches his.

If I thought his touch was good before, I don’t have words to describe the feeling of a simple light touch of my skin with his.

Fuck, I can’t wait for him to mark me and for me to mark him back. Well, I want to mark him right here and right now, but we need to run urgently!

I try not to look at his naked body when he sits down, and I see the toned muscles of his entire body flexing.

I wear the rogue shirt on him while I look up. The temptation to mark him is too much.

My soul longs to intertwine with his. Craving him.

When he finishes getting dressed, he takes my backpack and puts it on his back, and then I guide him to our next hiding place.

I’m not sure if I’m eager to reach that place because it means safety or simply having his ridiculously huge cock. Deeply. Buried. Inside. Me.
