Werewolf
Falling in love with my Ex's Alpha Chapter 212: Book 2 - Chapter 45
***The Deceiver***
“Ugh, can they be any slower?” I mutter to myself as I see the useless old farts in the central cave prepare to leave.
“Nige, don’t talk to them like that,” Dana scolds me, helping her great aunt put an old backpack on her back.
It doesn’t matter! Soon, they will never walk again or *breathe*. Little do they know what awaits them.
Beta approaches me and Dana, “Maybe it’s better if I go with you. There are too many people for just the two of you to defend if something happens,” he looks at me suspiciously. I don’t like it at all.
Dana looks around at all the old pack members ready to go, “Maybe we should—”
“No!” I snap.
Beta is a strong warrior in our pack, one of the last ones left. If he goes with us, he will ruin my whole plan. I can’t risk losing a warrior to our new territory.
*They* will be ready and waiting for us. My directive order was for only Dana and me to make it out alive, making it seem like an attack. So, not only would Dana vouch for my efforts to protect them, but I also ensure a strong ally survives.
Unfortunately, due to our pack being too fucking small, I can’t afford to kill this idiot right now. But her time will come.
“You need to stay here to tell Alpha and Luna everything. If you go with us, they’re going to come back, and they won’t find anyone here. They will probably freak out,” I convince him.
Beta looks at Dana, crossing his arms. After Dana gives a short, reluctant nod, he sighs loudly, “Okay. But if there is any danger, come back immediately. Hide! Be careful!”
“Now you are talking like Lexi,” Dana rolls her eyes at him, and he shakes his head. “Please let my little witch know that I was here and that as soon as I take the pack members to the new territory, I will come back immediately to get her.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll tell her! We’ll all be ready to move as soon as they get back here, and we’ll wait for you. She’ll be really sad that she didn’t see you,” Beta tells Dana.
“I know. But we waited too many days for them. We got to go. Some members need Lexi’s gift,” Dana says, looking around her.
“You’re right... Have a safe trip!” Beta says, shooing with his hand.
Thank fuck.
I look around at the useless old pack members starting to head in Dana’s direction while I stay behind to protect against any invasion from behind.
I couldn’t have chosen a better time to put my plan into action.
These useless old members will only get in the way of my future pack. They will make my future pack weak. I can’t let that happen.
The first part is to remove the rotten fruit from the tree.
The second part is disappearing with *that* fucker.
Alexa is mine, and I will be the future Alpha, not him.

Two days after we left, they started screaming at the “unexpected” attack.
“Nigel, help me!” Dana desperately yells before shifting to attack a rogue who tries to kill her great aunt.
I accidentally smile, watching them all die before me. ‘*You*!’ Dana’s wolf screams to me via mindlink. ‘You planned all this!’ her wolf’s furious eyes scared me for a moment.
She kills the rogue she was fighting and then comes to me to attack me, but another rogue attacks her great aunt again.
When the ancient lady screams in pain, Dana’s wolf looks back desperately, and at that moment, I confirm with a nod to the rogue next to her that Dana will also be discarded.
Their screams of despair are music to my ears.
It was not that easy. Who would have thought that all those useless old farts would be able to fight back like that?
But I was smarter than I was the last time.
This time, no one will get out of here alive besides me.

“No!” Letum despairs in a way I’ve never seen him. After Dana got his dick wet, it seems like he developed some stupid feelings for that bitch, huh?
I try to control myself so I don’t laugh at his misery as I did during the massacre because that’s how Dana found out.
Lexi’s warm hand heals the wounds inflicted upon me by the rogues, as I requested. I couldn’t come here unharmed; otherwise, they would suspect something was wrong. I’m not an idiot.
I rest my open hand on my stomach with Dana’s bracelet on it for more drama.
You know what? I’m glad I killed Dana. Bringing this stupid bracelet as proof and seeing Letum and the other fucker’s reaction is priceless! “I tried, Lexi. I t-tried!” I stutter, and this time, there is no drama because one of the rogue’s cuts is fucking deep.
It was worth it!
Lexi doesn’t say anything. She continues silently healing me. Nox looks at me suspiciously as if he can see beyond what I’m telling him.
“How did she die?” Letum says between his teeth with his back to us.
“When we get there—” I try to speak, but my voice cracks a little.
Lexi immediately heals the cut on my body that is preventing me from speaking properly. Then she looks at me and nods for me to continue.
Her mouth is set in a thin line as if she’s barely holding herself. “When we arrived at the central cave, your parents weren’t there. They left again to help other small packs that were under attack.”
“Kyrie?” Letum interrupts me, his fists clenched tight, his head bowed.
“She’s alive,” I say.
I’m not that stupid to kill the only witch in our pack, especially one so easy to manipulate.
“She’s with your parents. She’s been helping them a lot. Dana and I waited for them to arrive for days, and when no one showed up, Beta decided that it would be better if we brought the members who were there here because some of them needed your healing,” I say, looking for Lexi.
She tries to say something but then presses her lips together and looks away at the trees far from where we are.
“But when we were not so close to here, we were violently attacked,” I say and pause dramatically. “Dana and I fought side by side to defend everyone, but there were too many against just the two of us. The other pack members even tried to help us, but they weren’t as strong as before.” I go on — the best way to convince is by putting truths inside the lies; that way, it becomes more real — “It was so brutal, Lexi,” I say, trying to contain my smile, putting my hand on my face as I remember how easy it was to kill everyone I wanted in one fell swoop.
What’s even better is that now I owe them a favor that I’m also eager to repay. They want the fucker who killed all their brothers in the last attack.
And I can’t wait to offer Nox to them!
“I managed to kill a lot of them, but it wasn’t enough to defend everyone,” I lament as I hear in my head that ridiculous couple, Edmund and Ana, who always need Lexi’s help to keep living, screaming for my help.
They were already past their time to die.
“Poor Lucy tried to defend herself, but she’s not a warrior. It was so hard to see her being attacked in the stomach with her guts spilling out before she could even shift,” *that was a beautiful sight*. That slut didn’t deserve to be in our pack. Our pack was already full of useless members. We didn’t need her.
Lexi widens her eyes at me when she hears how Lucy died. But it’s Nox who firmly asks, “How did *you* survive?”
“Did you want me to die too?” I ask incredulously. This fucker will be the next one, and I will love to hear him dying.
“Nox!” Lexi scolds him. “I’m glad Nige managed to survive!”
“I barely survived, as you could see the state I am in,” I explain. “When I saw that everyone was dead, I took Dana’s bracelet because she always touched it — I had to get it, Lexi! It was all that was left of her—” I say, almost crying. To sound more truthful, I tremble my chin.
“I know,” Lexi whispers.
“So I ran away. I ran away, Lexi! I know I was a coward, but there was nothing else I could do there,” *because everything was already settled with them.*
“You did good,” Lexi says in her firm Alpha voice. “I should have been there. I could have protected them.”
I put my hand on her healing hand, “Lexi, I’m glad you weren’t there.”
“What do you mean?” Lexi asks, confused, looking me in the eyes.
“The attack was from the Bloodmoon pack, Lexi. They were after *the red wolf*.”
All the muscles in my body contract, including my ass, with so much force that I do so I don’t look happy with the three of them’s terrified reaction.
Lexi immediately takes her hand away from me. But I don’t worry because the final wounds on my body that need healing can now heal on their own. She gets up and runs into the forest.
“Alexa!” Nox says and runs after her.
For a second, I could have sworn Lexi was fatter. Her flat belly was so big. But it can’t be what I’m thinking, right?
I’m not going after her like him, but I also need to be careful with Letum so he doesn’t find out, like Dana, that I planned everything because even though I hate this fucker, he’s a strong warrior too.
“Where was the attack?” Letum asks with red eyes, turning to me.
“Letum, there’s nothing left,” I say to prevent them from going there. I’m not stupid to tell them. I can’t take the risk of them ending up finding out. “They destroyed everyone to serve as an example that you shouldn’t hide the red wolf from the Bloodmoon pack.”
“Fuck!” Letum curses between his teeth and punches the tree next to him so fast that I startled.
“I know,” I say with the most compassion I can fake.
And just because he’s already irritated me several times, and now he is getting closer and closer to Nox, I say something that I’m sure will make him suffer even more — the last punch. “I can’t believe she’s *dead*! Her dream was to grow old by Kyrie’s side... Now, she’ll *never* see that happen!”
My words seem to shoot directly at his knees because he hits them on the ground with his head down in defeat.
