ALANA

The seconds felt like forever upon hearing William ask that. I was the first one to move and grasped his face.

“Are you okay? Feeling better? Do you feel anything weird with your body? Tell me, William. Please, tell me.”

I did not know that I was already crying. I just realized it when William sat on the bed and wiped the tears on my face.

“Tell me, Alana. Tell me what’s wrong.”

I just bit my lower lip and hugged him tightly. “No, nothing is wrong, William. I…” I breathed a sigh of relief and closed my eyes to focus only on his scent even when it no longer feels the same way. “I am just really glad that you have woken up now. I thought you will be strapped in your bed again for days just like what ha-”

My voice shook when I remembered that he was unconscious in his bed for days because of me. I thought that would happen again to him despite Francine assuring me that he’s fine.

I felt his hand on my hair brushing it gently and kissing it with all the love in him for me.

“Nothing will happen to me, Alana. I will make sure of that because I have you to protect and love forever.”

I hope he will know how much of an assurance his words always give me. Looking up at him, I did not pass out on an opportunity to put my arms around his neck and kissed him as passionately as possible.

I want to feel his lips moving on me and the warmth that it gives me. The burst of feeling that it showered on me every time our mouth touched made me always think that if what they’re telling is true, that my body totally rejected William, then why do I always feel euphoric when we are kissing?

Making love with him feels like heaven despite the penetration being painful. The peace and serenity William gives me is unlike anywhere I have ever felt to anyone.

For that, I would never trade this feeling for anything in this world.

I would never trade my alpha prince for Lucas or for that lycan Zuleik. Even to the ends of the world, until our breaths stop, it will always be William whom I will be loyal to.

William carried me into his lap deepening the kiss, his hands roaming around my body. He lit up a fire licking every fiber of my skin setting us into two carnal beings that only want nothing but release.

Just when I tugged at the hem of my shirt to undress, William stopped my hand and kissed me long and hard on my forehead.

“No…” he said like he did not mean it all. “I’ll go to your room later.”

The pain in his voice told me that he wanted it too just like how I am longing for it so I am hella confused why he does not want to do it.

Dazed with passion, I kissed his neck where my mark is still set. “Why? Don’t you want to do it with me now? But I want you now, William. Don’t you want me too?”

He chuckled and looked at the person behind us. “I want you more than you could ever imagine and I could take you right here right now but I don’t think you would want others to see that. Am I right?”

“What are you talking abo-”

I paused all the things in my head that I wanted to say when he motioned someone at our back using his mouth.

My eyes widened when I realized that someone had been there all along and he was intently watching us since we started kissing.

I gasped and looked at William who seemed too un-bothered about it.

Lucas has been in our back and he never left so he witnessed it all!

I panted for air when my chest constricted and my throat felt like burning.

These were all Lucas' feelings! He is angry and jealous of us but cannot do anything about it.

My cheeks burned not in shame or what but in the fact that I was too proud of my connection with William.

I was not even distracted by Lucas’ presence at all!

“Lucas,” William acknowledged his beta with his arms still possessively hung around me. “What are you still doing here?”

He cleared his throat before answering. “Alpha prince, I am glad that you have completely recovered now.”

“I am not sick to begin with,” William cut him off.

Slowly, without pulling out of being curled against my mate’s body, I turned my head to take a look at him.

Lucas is standing too stiffly, his hands on his back, as his eyes burned with envy. I peeked at William to see his reaction but he seemed to be too cool about it, not even bothered by it at all.

“That’s a relief, alpha prince.” Lucas straightened his back and met my eyes. “I am only here to take Alana back to the dormitory. The time given to her by the queen luna has elapsed already.”

But none of the two of us moved away from each other. William even pulled me even closer to his body while I clung onto him as tight as I could.

“I will take her back to the dormitory myself, Lucas. You can go,” William said dismissively while I nodded repeatedly.

I want to be here by his side. The dormitory felt like a cemetery because he was not there.

“But alpha princ-”

He waved his hand at his beta and pointed at the door. “Lucas, you can leave now. I will be the one to take my mate back into his room. Do you understand me?”

I saw how he gritted his teeth secretly but then yielded in the end in the face of his future alpha king.

“Yes, alpha prince.”

He turned his back and left. The second the door closed in front of us, William pushed me onto the bed and began kissing my neck, his stubble tickling my neck.

“Now, where did we end, my love?” he asked, teasing me by pulling onto the straps of my brassiere.

“I thought we are going to my room?” I teased him back while suppressing the grin on my lips.

“Nah, I could break into your room later,” he whispered as he licked my ear. “For now, I want to break into you as fast as possible.”

And minutes later, he did break something. He did break the bed.
