ALANA

“A what?” Francine asked with wide eyes, almost falling from her seat. “Come again, Alana? Can you repeat what you just said?”

Given her reaction, I felt a bit embarrassed. With flushed cheeks, I asked her again. “Can you please teach me how to pleasure a man? I want to make William happy.”

“Alana…”

I took her hands with me. “Please Francine. I know this is too much to ask but I don’t think I could ever find someone as reliable as you. All I want to do is make William happy. I don’t know how to do that since I haven’t had a man in my life.”

She laughed a little before taking my hands together in hers. “I don’t know if I should take it as a compliment or not but you really came to the right person.”

My eyes widened in happiness. Does it mean that she’s agreeing already?

She laughed upon seeing the glow on my face. Pinching my cheeks lightly, she nodded. “I will teach you everything I know, Alana. Don’t you worry.”

To my happiness, I hugged her tightly. “Thank you so much, Francine.”

“You are always welcome, my dearest.” She looked at me from head to toe. “Now, for the first lesson. The clothing…”

After the ‘mini lessons’ I had with Francine, I went out of the mansion to go find William but before I could go out of the gate, Sophia was already there waiting for me.

Her face was livid as she lunged towards me.

“Alana, have you already approved my funds for my house? It’s been days already but you look like you have no plans to compensate for what you did to my house!”

I stood squarely in front of her and motioned Lucas not to meddle with us. “You are right, Sophia. I really don’t. As I have told you before, the building of your house is just unnecessary expenses. I have already aligned the funds into building schools.”

She caught my arm and gripped as tight as possible. “No! How could you?! Bring back my money! That is for my house! Daddy gave that to me!”

I yanked her hands away and even grinned at her. “And now I am taking it all back because I have the power to do so.”

I left her still reeling in anger as I set out to look for William.

I found him on the dock on top of his black horse.

“Alpha prince!” I waved at William who just got back from his daily patrol on the borders. I do not know why he is still not returning to the capital but I will take every second I have with him so I have enough memories with him when he goes back.

The alpha king only gave me two months to be here to get my justice so I really have to hurry and do what I came here for.

“Alana!” he waved back and mounted off his horse to run towards me.

The royal guards and some officials of the village looked at us in surprise, especially when seeing how the third most powerful man in the state is running toward me in a hurry as if I am someone so important to him.

“Can I have lunch with you?” I asked and lifted the boxes of the food that I cooked for him.

“You don’t have to ask me that anymore,” he answered, mesmerized by the low neckline dress that I am wearing. His mark on my neck is proudly showing.

“You have to show him that you are proud of him possessing you.”

That's what Francine advised me so I wore this dress for him and the way he’s looking at me is just so priceless that I silently thanked Francine in my head.

He took me to a park where we set up a blanket on the grass and started eating while I told him my stories.

“Why did you accept her cake when you know it could have been poisoned!?” he burst out when I got to the part where Sophia took me to the forest.

I nodded. “Because I remembered you. I remembered that you were the first person that gave me a cake. It might be a stupid thing for me to say but I did it out of hope that they would accept me. I was a fool, am I not?”

Sighing, he took my hands and looked me in the eyes. “You are not a fool, Alana. You were just too pure, too innocent to recognize the trap set for you.”

Hearing that coming from him just melts my heart. “I know I hurt you so bad for leaving. I hope you can forgive me, William.”

He chuckled while taking out a grain that got lost in its way on my hair. “There is no need to ask for forgiveness when you did nothing wrong. I deeply understand you now. I am sorry that it only took me a long time to do that.”

He hugged me and then kissed my nose down to my lips but before his lips could touch mine, I pushed him away when I remembered something.

“Wait, Francine told me that you are not allowed to leave the castle. How were you able to come here?”

He scratched his head and told me everything about how he threatened them to give him a plane.

“William, why did you do that to the chief?” I scolded him. “He is just doing his job. You have to apologize to him.”

He snickered at me like a naughty kid before snaking his arms around my waist. “I sure will, but will you accompany me when I do that?”

“Of course! Once we get back to the castle, I will drag you to him so we could both ask for his forgiveness.”

“Do you promise?” he asked while kissing my neck.

I hitched my breath. “Yes, I promise.”

“That we will be back to the castle together?”

He pushed me down to the blanket.

“Yes, we will go back to the castle together.”

I still saw the grin on his face before he captured my lips as we completely forgot about the lunch.
