The Alpha Prince's Abused Mate Chapter 175
ALANA
“What are you doing?! Alana!”
Sophia’s scream pierced into the bloody murderous night when she saw me approaching her with a burrow in my hand that I found in the corner in the middle of all this fighting.
Her eyes widened and tears flowed down her cheeks when she realized what I was going to do.
“Alana, please! No! Don’t do this to me! Help me! Free me, Alana! Please, take pity on me!”
But I was too drunk with hate, too deaf to even listen to her words. I raised the burrow in the air and began plowing her hand with it.
This hand who used to slap me, punch me, and pull at my hair should be punished.
The first scream is pure agony while the rest sounded more of anger and loss of hope.
She can’t move because of the steel slashing through her flesh. One wrong move from her and she would essentially get rid of her own legs if she tried to transform into her wolf.
I never thought I could be violent like this. I never thought I could take pleasure seeing someone in pain.
“Alana, stop it! Please, stop it! I am not going to do anything to you again! Please, just stop hurting me!” she cried begging me to stop but I did not.
I won’t stop until I see all her pretty fingers get destroyed.
She destroyed me. She, Killian, and her mother, so I should destroy them too.
I just grinned and shifted my focus on her left hand. I will not stop until these are all useless.
“Alana! Stop or I will really kill you!” Minerva warned in my back as she clicked the familiar sound of a gun.
I was not surprised anymore when she called my real name. I know she knows me already right from our first meeting in the palace. I just don’t get how she keeps on pretending like she did not know the real me.
Back when I was still at the lycan village, guns like that were constantly seen to defend themselves against the raids of the guards.
Slowly, I turned my back towards her letting her take a glimpse of what I had become.
Cold red eyes, pale face, with fury written all over my bloodied face. That must have greeted her because she gasped as her body trembled in fear. She must have seen a monster in me enough for her grip to slip and the gun fell down into her feet.
“Who are you?! What have you become Alana?” she asked in bewilderment.
I walked up to her, my eyes brimming with wrath. “Nothing more than what you made me of, Minerva. Why do you look so shocked? Why do you look so shaken? Didn’t you see yourself in the mirror? Have you not seen yourself in the reflection smiling in happiness while you enjoy seeing me being beaten in times when you don’t hold the whip? Now, look what has happened to your own beloved daughter?”
I motioned at my back. “Come on, Minerva. Take a look at your own sweet little daughter.”
Hearing that, she glanced at Sophia on my back and caught her breath when she saw how bad her situation was.
“Sophia…” she can only murmur her name in silence upon seeing her worse state.
“Mom…” she murmured back when she saw her own mother. “Please, help me, mom. My feet… my legs and my hands… they hurt so much, mom!”
Minerva’s tears fell as she took a closer look at Sophia.
“Sophia, what did she do to you?! My poor daughter!”
“Mom! Mommy!”
Sophia tried crawling towards her mother while showing her her hands who are beyond recognizable anymore.
“Mom, my hands… I can’t feel them anymore! Mommy, what should I do?! Mommy, how can I make the alpha prince fall in love with me without my hands?! Mommy?!”
Minerva shot me a devastating look before asking the most incredulous question I have ever heard from her. “Alana, what did you do to my daughter?!”
I met her eyes coldly. “Did you ever realize that that would be the exact same words my mother would have asked you and Killian if she ever saw me being beaten by both of you? You are a mother too, Minerva. What would you feel if you saw your daughter being abused like that?”
I chuckled bitterly when I took a look at Sophia. “This is not as worse as what you have forced me to experience in those dark walls! You stole my whole life from me! You made me so scared of everyone and everything that I felt like it’s already normal to be treated like that!”
I wanted to cry but for some reason, my tears just won’t fall. I felt my heart being hardened by remembering my bitter past.
“You abused me, planned on killing me, and now you wished to brand me as a traitor so I could never be with William.”
I gazed at my love who’s clearly winning from both of the men. “But William saved me. He erased all of the doubt in my heart that the three of you planted.”
I let the blood-coated burrow fall from my hands and watched as Minerva ran to her daughter who was crying her eyes out.
“I am not like the both of you. I am not a monster nor someone without conscience. I am not dumb to live as an outcast and a rogue wolf all my life. I have William who has accepted me for who I am. I love him and I will do everything I can to be happy with him.”
Including facing who I really am.
I scanned the whole place and sighed at the sight. Blood. Dead bodies. Fighting. That's all I am seeing. Werewolves versus lycans. We are all from the same species but we are fighting and killing another.
“Hear me! All of you! I am Alana Harriston, the granddaughter of your former alpha king and the daughter of your former lycan king!”
They stopped and looked at me.
“I am your true lycan princess! I am your true werewolf princess!”
