“Alpha prince, can I now call you by your first name? Please?” Kristine even fluttered her eyes to appear seemingly cute towards me but I only found her cringe and stupid.

She has been doing her very best to entertain while all I want to do is just to end this dinner since I will still be going to Roan to see Alana. I cannot wait to see and hold her again. The whole day has been good enough knowing I get to hug her again later.

It’s a little too late and this blind date is not something I could just shrug off because my mother hand picked this one for me. Jenny is the eldest daughter of an alpha from the same village where Alana came from.

“No, you cannot. Calling me by my first name is a privilege that is only awarded to those people who are close to me,” I said while wiping my mouth.

She pouted. “Okay. I know that you want this dinner to end now but can I please get a smile before we end it? Please? Please?”

I sighed, glancing at my watch. I want to see Alana so badly now.

I looked at the woman and flashed her a smile before I stood up. “I gave you what you wanted. Now this dinner is done.”

I hurried back into my quarters in my new room to change my clothes when Lucas intercepted me.

“Lucas, get the chopper ready…” I stopped and sniffed the air as my eyes widened.

No way! Is that Alana’s scent I can smell now?

“Lucas, tell me if I am going crazy or Alana is really here in the castle now?”

He nodded. “Yes, alpha prince. Alana has been recalled back a day earlier by the alpha king.”

I clapped in the air in happiness. “Yes!”

I literally flew into my room to shower. I got dressed in under a minute making sure that no scent of the woman earlier would cling into my skin.

“Lucas, do I look good? Do I smell like the cologne of that woman I had a blind date with?”

His face grimaced. “William, I do not want to say this but aren’t you a little too overdressed?”

I looked at myself in the mirror. I chose to wear a suit and boots. I am even tempted to wear that royal blue suit with all the medals of valor I collected throughout the years of traveling the world.

“Overdressed? But I think it needs to do more, don’t you think?”

He pushed me back again into the closet. “Please William, for the sake of the dignity of our pack, change your clothes, will you?”

I decided to change into just jeans and a shirt. To make sure that she would not smell anything on me, I almost used up the whole bottle of perfume on my body.

“You look more put together,” Lucas said, suppressing her smile.

I struck the back of his head playfully. “Please, keep this from Alana, okay? Can you do that for me? I don’t want her to know that I have been eating with these women.”

Saying that puts a bad taste in my mouth. She is my mate and I already marked her as mine and yet here I am being with these women.

“You can trust me, William. Now go and hug your mate. I am sure your hands are itching to do that. I am tired of hearing you complaining every night! Please, let me have my sleep too!”

I just chuckled before I ran out of the castle into the forest to go to the cabin where I knew she would be waiting for me.

While running, all sorts of things are racing in my head too like what is the reason for recalling her back.

But I tried to snap out of it and just focused on the fact that Alana is finally here with me. Those days that I do not have the liberty to glance at her freely are pure torture that I promised to myself that I would never let her be away from me. If I have to tell my parents about her real identity, I would do so just so we could be together forever.

“Alana…” I murmured panting for air when I saw her back from me, blood rising inside me.

She is staring out into the clear waters of the lake as if in deep thoughts.

“Alana!” I shouted and ran towards her.

She quickly stood up and waited for me, her arms opened for me. But instead of hugging her, I seized her face with my eager hands and kissed her hungrily.

I put out all of my frustration and happiness into the kiss that I did not realize that I was being too harsh on her.

“I’m sorry. I was not able to control myself,” I said while breathing hard and wiping a bit of blood off her lips.

I kissed her a little too damn hard that she’s already bleeding.

“It’s just that I just miss you so so much my Alana.”

I lost my control over my wits again and leaned in to lick the blood but I only ended up kissing her again lightly.

It took all my best to do that because all I want to do now is pin her on the wall inside the house and never come out of the room until she is all mine.

“It’s okay, William,” she said, smiling at me.

Her glow is very different from the Alana that I used to know.

And what she did next astounded me because never in my whole life did it ever cross in my mind that she would do that to me.

She held my face captive, her face lowering down to my neck. Before I could even react, her soft lips kissed my neck and I felt her teeth sinking into my flesh.

I growled when a flush of pleasure washed through me. I can’t believe this is all happening now! I can’t believe Alana is marking me, imprinting herself into me!
