Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 130

Enzo's POV

I had barely stepped out of the bathroom when the weight of exhaustion hit me like a hammer. My hair was still damp, my body loose and heavy after a long night that didn’t feel like it had ended. Lisa’s scent still clung faintly to my skin despite the soap I’d used, and I hated how much it lingered, not because I didn’t like it, but because it reminded me of something I had no business holding onto.

I tossed the towel onto the chair, dragged my hands down my face, and was already halfway to collapsing on my bed when a sharp tug rattled my mind.

*Enzo.*

I froze mid-step, blinking as the link pushed itself more firmly into my head.

*Training ground. Now.*

It was Ash’s voice, low and even, but firm.

I groaned and let myself fall on the bed anyway, the mattress catching my weight. “For f\*\*k’s sake,” I muttered under my breath. “Training ground? At this hour?”

I could feel the pull of the bond demanding acknowledgement, but I resisted. Maybe if I ignored him long enough, he’d take the hint and leave me the hell alone.

But of course, Ash wasn’t the type to let anything go. His presence pressed harder, not with anger, not yet, but with insistence. He wasn’t asking. He was demanding.

I growled low in my throat, eyes shutting tight. “Why now? Can’t this wait till morning?”

No answer came back, just that stubborn weight of expectation, like a hand at the back of my neck shoving me forward.

I dragged myself upright with a sharp exhale, pacing once across the room. If Ash was calling, it meant something was bothering him, something serious enough he couldn’t shelve it for later. But why drag me into it? Unless—

My jaw tightened. Unless this was about Lisa.

I cursed under my breath, grabbing a loose shirt and pulling it over my head. My boots thudded against the floor, heavy and annoyed with every step I took toward the door.

The cool night air hit me the moment I stepped outside, brushing against still-damp strands of my hair. The sky was streaked faintly with the last traces of dawn, grey light stretching across the horizon. My pace quickened across the compound, muscles aching from a restless night, and a part of me already bracing for whatever lecture Ash thought he needed to hand out.

By the time I reached the training ground, my irritation had shifted into a dull simmer. The sound of fists hitting skin, the grunts of sparring, echoed before I even entered.

I slowed as I stepped inside the open clearing.

Atlas and Kael were already there, both of them stripped to their waists, sweat glistening across their skin as they moved against each other with sharp, brutal precision. Kael’s fist connected with Atlas’s side, Atlas retaliating with a brutal swing that Kael blocked with his forearm. Their movements were fast, practiced, as if they’d been at it a while.

Ash stood off to the side, watching, arms folded loosely, his stance deceptively relaxed but his gaze sharp.

All three of them looked up when I entered.

I forced myself to exhale, pushing the irritation off my face and replacing it with something more neutral. “What’s going on?” I asked, voice even as I glanced around at each of them.

Ash gave me the smallest nod in greeting. Atlas’s expression was hard, his jaw clenched, and Kael—Kael stepped forward.

“Morning,” I said anyway, because manners didn’t cost me anything.

No reply from Atlas. None from Kael. Only Ash gave me that curt nod again, his eyes flicking between the others like he was waiting for someone to start.

I arched a brow, folding my arms across my chest. “Alright, someone spit it out. What’s the deal with dragging me out here before I can even close my eyes?”

Kael took another step forward, his gaze steady but edged with something sharp, almost accusatory.

“You were in Lisa’s room.”

The words dropped like stones between us.

I stared at him for a moment, unblinking, the silence stretching too long before I let out a low, incredulous laugh. “That’s what this is about? You pulled me out here to talk about that?”

Atlas’s fists clenched at his sides. “Don’t play games, Enzo. He saw you sneaking out this morning.”

I shrugged, too tired to hide the irritation curling hot under my skin. “And? You want me to lie? Yes, I was there.”

Kael’s eyes narrowed. “You were there because you spent the night. Don’t deny it.”

“Why the hell would I deny it?” My voice rose, sharper, as I dropped my arms. “I’m not ashamed of where I spent my time.”

Atlas stepped forward now, his presence like a storm front, heavy and charged. “She’s not just yours.”

I let out another dry laugh, though my chest tightened. “Oh, now we’re getting honest.” I glanced at Ash, then back at the other two. “She’s ours. I know. You think I don’t f\*\*king know that?”

Kael’s jaw ticked. “Then why are you keeping her for yourself? Why are you sneaking behind us, hiding the bond like it’s nothing?”

I shook my head, pacing a step before turning back to face them. “You’re blowing this out of proportion. It’s not what you think.”

Atlas’s voice was ice when he spoke. “Enlighten us.”

I met his glare head-on. “I’m not keeping her for myself. I’m not trying to steal her. I was just…using her to pass the time.”

Silence. Thick, suffocating silence.

Kael’s expression twisted. “You’re joking.”

“No,” I said flatly. “And before you get self-righteous, let me remind you—nothing’s stopping you from doing the same. You’re welcome to it. Any of you.”

Ash shifted slightly, his eyes narrowing with quiet calculation.

I leaned forward, letting my voice drop into something colder. “But if you want in, you drop the masks. No hiding behind human faces. No lies. If she’s ours, she should see us as we are. You want her? You step up as yourself, not as some disguise.”

Atlas’s nostrils flared, but he didn’t argue. Kael’s fists flexed at his sides, torn between outrage and consideration.

Ash finally broke the silence, his tone calm, almost too calm. “So, what you’re saying is, if we want a claim in this, we come clean. All of us.”

“Exactly,” I said, holding his gaze. “You don’t get to point fingers at me for taking what’s already ours when you’re too cowardly to show up without a mask. You want her? Then show her. Risk it, like I did.”

Kael sucked in a sharp breath, turning to Atlas, then to Ash. His anger hadn’t lessened, but there was thought in his eyes now.

Atlas’s jaw was tight, but he gave a slow nod. “We divide it, then.”

I tilted my head. “Divide what?”

“The time,” Kael said, voice hard but steady. “If she’s ours, we share her. One person at a time. No secrets. No hiding.”

The words sat heavy in the air. My brows furrowed, but I didn’t argue. It was logical, at least. Controlled. Better than the reckless alternative.

Ash stepped forward, closing the distance between us. “So we sketch it out. Days. One person’s turn, then the next. We agree, and no one breaks it. Understood?”

I stared at him for a long moment before a smirk tugged at my mouth. “Fine by me. I’m not the one who had a problem with it.”

Kael shot me a glare, but I didn’t back down. Atlas’s expression was carved from stone, but he gave a curt nod.

Ash’s eyes flicked between us, his presence grounding the moment. “Then it’s settled.”

I exhaled slowly, the tension in my shoulders loosening a fraction.
