Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 301

Bianca paced inside the private lounge at the ball venue, her fingers tapping against the table impatiently.

The anticipation coursing through her veins was almost intoxicating.

Tonight would be the end of Serena Winthrop.

When her phone vibrated, she grabbed it instantly, answering without hesitation.

“It’s done,” Mr. Carter’s voice came through the line.

A slow, wicked grin spread across Bianca’s face.

She leaned against the mirror and admired her reflection, tilting her head slightly. “Perfect.”

She took a moment to smooth out her dress, ensuring every strand of hair was in place before stepping out.

The hallway was silent, the music from the ballroom faint in the distance.

As she made her way toward the private suite where Serena was being kept, she could already imagine the headlines that would dominate the news the next morning.

“Rocky’s Design CEO Caught in a Scandalous Affair!”

“Exclusive Leaked Photos of Serena Winthrop Exposed!”

The thought made her giddy with excitement. She had played her cards so well.

By the time she was done, Serena’s career, reputation, and dignity would be in ruins.

When she reached the door, she pushed it open without knocking.

Serena lay unconscious on the bed, her chest rising and falling in steady breaths.

Bianca smirked.

She snapped her fingers. Two tall men entered the room, their faces unreadable.

“Take off her dress,” Bianca ordered coldly.

One of the men hesitated. “Ma’am—”

“Do I need to repeat myself?” Bianca cut him off sharply.

“Get the pictures taken and sent out immediately. If the images go live tonight, by morning, she’ll be done for.”

The men exchanged glances but ultimately obeyed.

They stepped toward the bed, their hands moving to Serena’s dress.

Then—

BANG!

The door exploded open with a deafening crash, the impact so strong it came off its hinges.

Bianca let out a startled scream as the loud noise echoed in the room.

The two men instantly turned toward the entrance, but they barely had time to react.

A dark, towering figure stood in the doorway, his broad shoulders blocking the light from the hallway.

His presence alone sent a cold chill down Bianca’s spine. The air in the room grew thick with tension.

Bianca’s breath hitched. “Who—?”

The figure took slow, deliberate steps inside.

His movements were controlled, precise—like a predator closing in on its prey.

The men squared their shoulders, preparing for a fight.

Then he moved.

THWACK!

One man hit the floor with a sickening thud before he even realized what had happened.

The second lunged forward, but the intruder dodged effortlessly, twisting the man’s arm behind his back before slamming his elbow into his ribs.

The third man charged, but in a swift motion, a punch landed squarely on his jaw, sending him crashing into the nightstand.

Within seconds, all three men lay unconscious.

Bianca stared in horror. Her heartbeat pounded so loudly it echoed in her ears.

Finally, the intruder stepped fully into the light.

Her breath caught in her throat.

Nathan?!

Her mouth fell open. It couldn’t be.

Nathan wasn’t supposed to be here. How was he here? How did he know?

His piercing blue eyes locked onto hers, but there was no warmth in them.

Only unfiltered rage.

His jaw clenched so tightly that Bianca could see the muscle ticking.

“How low can you sink, Bianca?” His voice was dangerously quiet.

Bianca took a shaky step back. “I—I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Nathan scoffed. “Don’t even try it.”

His gaze flickered toward Serena, who was still unconscious on the bed.

His entire posture tensed as if just the sight of her lying there like that fueled his anger further.

Bianca’s fingers curled into fists. “Nathan, I—”

He didn’t let her finish.

“I should call the police on you right now,” he said icily.

Bianca’s breath hitched. “Wait, Nathan—”

But he had already turned away. He walked toward the bed and, with extreme care, lifted Serena into his arms.

His movements were gentle, as if she was something fragile that could break at any moment. The way he looked at her made Bianca’s stomach twist with something ugly.

Jealousy.

Nathan didn’t even spare Bianca another glance. He simply adjusted Serena in his arms and stormed out of the room.

Bianca stood frozen, her mind racing.

Nathan was here.

Nathan knew everything.

And from the look in his eyes, she could tell—he wasn’t going to let this go.

Nathan placed Serena carefully into the passenger seat of his car before sliding in beside her.

He cast a glance at her still figure, his grip on the steering wheel tightening.

“Damn it, Serena,” he muttered under his breath.

She looked so vulnerable like this, completely unaware of the danger she had been in.

His jaw clenched. He needed to get her somewhere safe. Somewhere Bianca couldn’t reach her.

Fifteen minutes later, he pulled up to his private apartment. He carried Serena inside and laid her gently on his bed.

He pressed the back of his hand to her forehead to check her temperature.

She seemed fine—just exhausted.

With a sigh, he ran a hand through his hair. He had a lot to think about.

After making sure she was comfortable, he walked into his study and picked up his phone.

He dialed a number.

“Send me the address,” he said in a low voice.

There was a pause on the other end before the person answered.

“Understood.”

Nathan exhaled and hung up.

Tomorrow, everything changes.

The next morning, Serena stirred awake, groaning softly as a sharp headache hit her.

She slowly sat up, rubbing her temples. But as her eyes adjusted, her surroundings finally registered.

Her body went stiff.

This wasn’t her apartment.

Her head snapped to the side, scanning the unfamiliar room.

Panic surged through her as she hurriedly checked herself, running a quick glance over her body.

Nothing felt out of place, but the uncertainty gnawed at her.

Then, she picked up her heels and purse then found her way to the living room.

Almost immediately, Nathan stepped out of the kitchen, carrying a tray of food.

Serena’s eyes widened. Nathan?

Her breathing quickened. “What—what am I doing here?”

Nathan’s gaze softened slightly. “You should eat first.”

Serena didn’t move. “Tell me what happened.”

Nathan sighed, placing the tray on the table. “I will. But after you eat something.”

Serena hesitated. Her throat was dry, and the smell of coffee was tempting, but—

“I just want to know what happened,” she insisted.

Nathan met her gaze. “Fine. But first—” He pulled up a chair and sat across from her.

His voice turned serious. “How do you know Bianca Taylor?”

Serena blinked. “Bianca?” She frowned. “She was a client. Then we became friends. Why?”

Nathan exhaled heavily. He looked down for a moment before raising his eyes back to hers.

“Because Bianca isn’t who she pretends to be,” he said quietly.

Serena’s heart skipped a beat. “What do you mean?”

Nathan’s jaw tightened. “She’s been pretending to be your friend so she could destroy you.”

He paused before adding, “And it’s because of me.”

Serena’s lips parted in shock.

“What?”

Nathan leaned forward. “She was my girlfriend. But she was obsessed with me. When I ended things, I never thought she’d come here and target you.”

Serena stared at him, her mind reeling.

All the strange things that had been happening to her… was Bianca behind it?

And all because of him?

Anger surged through her.

She stood up abruptly, her hands trembling. “So you’re telling me that everything I’ve been going through is because of your past?”

Nathan flinched but nodded.

Serena clenched her jaw.

“Stay away from me,” she snapped. “I don’t ever want to see you again.”

Then, without looking back, she stormed out of the apartment, leaving Nathan sitting there in silence.

And just like that—everything had changed.
