Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 340

That evening at Serena’s office, Serena sighed as she leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms above her head.

The day had been long, but finally, she was wrapping things up. She glanced at the clock—just a few minutes more, and she would be out of here.

Her office was already half-packed for the night.

The documents she had been reviewing were stacked neatly on her desk, her laptop was shut, and all that was left was to grab her handbag and coat before heading home.

Amy had insisted on going to Aunt Emma’s office to be with her, and Serena had accepted.

As she was already rounding up to make her way out of her office, Emma walked in, holding Amy’s hand.

The little girl skipped beside her, grinning widely as she ran straight into her mother’s open arms.

“Mommy!” Amy chirped happily, wrapping her arms around Serena’s waist.

Serena bent down slightly, kissing the top of her daughter’s head. “Hey, sweetheart. Did you have fun with Aunt Emma?”

Amy nodded excitedly. “Yes! Aunt Emma let me help pick out furniture designs. And guess what? I drew something too!”She held up a small notebook where she had scribbled a rough drawing of a chair.

Serena raised an eyebrow and turned to Emma with an amused expression. “You put my five-year-old in charge of designs?”

Emma chuckled, setting a few files down on the desk. “Not entirely. But she does have good taste, I must admit.”

Amy huffed, folding her arms. “I was serious about my choices!”

Serena and Emma laughed, and Serena ruffled Amy’s soft curls. “I’m sure you were, baby and this chair you drew is really nice.”

Emma then handed Serena a document. “On a more serious note, I was going through our client records, and guess what? Some of the clients that pulled out after that whole scandal are coming back.”

Serena’s eyes widened. “Seriously?”

Emma nodded. “That press conference did wonders. People are starting to see the truth, and our reputation is being restored.”

Serena let out a deep sigh of relief. “That’s amazing news. If you hadn’t pushed me to do that, I don’t think I would’ve had the courage to go through with it. Thank you, Emma.”

Emma waved her hand dismissively. “That’s what I’m here for. Besides, you deserve to get your good name back.”

Serena smiled warmly at her best friend, then started packing up her things. Emma helped her carry some files to her car, while Serena held Amy’s hand as they walked out together.

After loading everything into the trunk, Serena turned to Emma. “Are you heading straight home?”

Emma was about to respond when a deep, familiar voice called out from behind them.

“Hey, beautiful.”

Emma didn’t even need to turn around to know who it was. A small smile crept onto her lips as she spun around and found Ethan striding toward her, his hands tucked behind his back.

As soon as he reached her, he brought one hand forward, revealing a single red rose. “For you.”

Emma’s cheeks flushed as she took the flower. “I wasn’t expecting you here.”

Ethan leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. “I figured I’d come to pick up my gorgeous girlfriend.”

Amy, still standing beside Serena, giggled. “Aunt Emma is blushing!”

Emma playfully stuck her tongue out at the little girl before turning back to Ethan. “Well, this is a nice surprise. Let me grab my stuff, and we can go.”

Ethan nodded, watching her disappear into the building. Serena arched an eyebrow at him. “You really know how to make an entrance.”

Ethan smirked. “It’s a talent.”

Emma returned within minutes, and Ethan opened the car door for her. As they drove, he glanced at her. “We’re going out tonight. Just you and me. No work, no stress, just fun.”

Emma raised a brow. “And where exactly are we going?”

“You’ll see,” Ethan said, smirking.

Not long after, they pulled up in front of a high-end nightclub. The neon lights reflected off the pavement, and the deep bass from the music vibrated in the air.

Emma stared at the flashing signs. “Seriously? A club?”

Ethan laughed. “Come on, don’t be a grandma. Just one night of fun.”

Emma sighed, shaking her head. “Fine. But if I hate it, I’m blaming you.”

“Deal,” Ethan said, grabbing her hand and leading her inside.

The club was packed, the air thick with excitement. Ethan led her to the bar first, ordering them both drinks.

Emma took a sip of her cocktail and felt the warmth spread through her body.

Ethan downed his drink in one go, then grabbed her hand again, pulling her toward the dance floor.

At first, Emma hesitated, but as the music pulsed around them, she let herself get lost in the rhythm.

Ethan wrapped his arms around her waist, moving in sync with her.

She laughed as he twirled her, then pulled her back against him. Their eyes met, and for a brief moment, the rest of the world faded away.

By the time they left, Emma was tipsy, her laughter louder, her steps a little unsteady. Ethan guided her to the car, helping her in before driving them back to his apartment.

As soon as they stepped inside, Emma turned to him, her heart pounding.

“You planned this, didn’t you?” she asked, her voice slightly slurred.

Ethan smirked. “Planned what?”

Emma playfully poked his chest. “Getting me drunk so you could bring me here.”

Ethan chuckled, his fingers brushing her waist. “Maybe.”

She rolled her eyes, but before she could say anything else, he leaned in, capturing her lips in a slow, deep kiss.

Emma melted into his touch, her arms wrapping around his neck.

He lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to the bedroom. Their breaths mingled, their hands exploring, their bodies pressing closer.

For the first time since they started dating, they finally crossed the line they had been dancing around for months.

And Emma didn’t regret a single second of it as she let him have his way with her.
