Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 294
Bianca sat alone in her dimly lit apartment, the floor cold against her bare legs as she tilted her head back and took another long sip of her drink.
Her apartment was in complete disarray—empty bottles scattered around, a few half-eaten snacks sitting on the coffee table, and her phone lying face down beside her.
But Bianca couldn’t care less.
Because all she could think about was Serena.
Serena.
The woman who refused to just disappear.
The woman who should have drowned in that accident.
The woman who, despite everything, still had the attention of the men around her.
Bianca let out a bitter laugh, gripping the glass in her hand so tightly her fingers turned white.
The fact that Serena survived was already frustrating enough.
But what made it even worse was the message she had received from her private investigator just that morning—
Nathan.
Nathan had been at Serena’s place.
Not just visiting—but acting all caring.
Bianca’s blood boiled at the thought.
What was so special about Serena?
Why did men keep chasing after her?
Nathan was hers.
He had always been hers.
And yet, there he was, running after Serena, while Serena still had Ryan, her so-called baby daddy, who still cared about her.
Why wasn’t she satisfied with just one man?
Why did she have to go after Bianca’s man too?
Bianca’s fingers trembled as she brought the glass to her lips again, taking another deep gulp, the liquor burning its way down her throat.
Then, with a sharp motion, she threw the empty glass across the room.
Crash!
The sound echoed in the silence.
Bianca laughed.
A wild, unhinged laugh that filled the empty space around her.
“I am Bianca Tayler,” she murmured, staring at her reflection in the dark TV screen across the room.
“I make men turn their heads when I walk by. I don’t beg for attention—I command it.”
Her hands clenched into fists.
And yet, despite all that, Nathan had still left her.
For Serena.
A woman who wasn’t even worthy of the ground she walked on.
Bianca gritted her teeth, her breathing heavy.
She wouldn’t let this slide.
She wouldn’t just sit back and watch as Serena took everything from her.
No.
She needed to be smart.
She needed to clear her path properly before making her next move.
And the first step?
Acting like she still cared.
Bianca grabbed her phone from the floor and stared at the screen.
She hadn’t called Serena since she left the hospital last night.
But she would now.
She composed herself, brushing her fingers through her messy hair and forcing her voice to sound normal.
Then, with a slow smirk, she pressed the dial.
The phone rang twice before Serena picked up.
“Bianca?” Serena’s voice came through, sounding a little tired.
“Hey, babe,” Bianca said, putting on a cheerful tone. “How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay… just a bit exhausted,” Serena replied.
“I can imagine,” Bianca said, pouting slightly even though Serena couldn’t see her.
“I was so worried about you! I should have called earlier, but things have been crazy on my end.”
“It’s fine,” Serena said. “I appreciate the call.”
Bianca rolled her eyes but forced a smile into her voice.
“You really scared me, you know? When I saw what happened at the swimming pool, I almost had a heart attack.”
“I didn’t mean to scare anyone,” Serena said softly.
Bianca pressed her lips together.
Of course, she didn’t. But that wasn’t the point.
“So… your friend you told me about, Nathan. He came to see you?” Bianca asked casually as she needed to ask with culture, though her grip on the phone tightened.
Serena hesitated for a second before answering.
“Oh Yeah… he did. I wasn’t actually expecting him to just show up at my door. But that’s who Nathan was anyway.”
Bianca let out a forced chuckle. “You must be really special to him.”
“It’s not like that,” Serena said quickly. “Nathan was just—”
“Caring?” Bianca cut in, her voice still light, but her jaw clenched.
Serena paused.
“Hmm, I guess. He is really a caring guy.”
Bianca let out another forced laugh, gripping her knee with her free hand.
“Wow, Serena,” she said playfully. “First Ryan, now Nathan? You’re really collecting all the good men, huh? You are just so lucky with men.”
Serena sighed, smiling slightly. “Bianca, I don’t want to talk about this.”
“Really?” Bianca gasped dramatically. “Sweetheart, I’m just teasing you!”
Serena didn’t respond immediately.
Then, finally, she said, “I should get some rest, Bianca. Thanks for calling.”
“Of course, babe!” Bianca chirped. “Get well soon, okay?”
Serena hung up.
Bianca stared at her phone screen, her smile vanishing instantly.
Serena might have survived.
But she wasn’t going to stay happy for long.
Not if Bianca had anything to do with it.
That evening, as Emma was leaving the company, she passed the receptionist—the same woman who had been flirting with Ethan earlier that day.
The woman scowled at her, her lips curling in displeasure.
Emma didn’t seem to notice her.
She had better things to think about.
Like the fact that she had a date with Ethan tonight.
Still in disbelief, Emma quickly pulled out her phone and called her best friend.
“Hey, girl,” her friend answered.
“You won’t believe what just happened,” Emma said breathlessly.
“What? Spill!”
“I have a date tonight.”
There was a beat of silence before her friend suddenly screamed into the phone.
“What?! Who? When? How?!”
Emma laughed, shaking her head. “ A new guy, Ethan. He came to my office today and asked me out.”
“Ethan? Such a lovely name and I know he must be so handsome and you might also be crushing on him, huh?”
“I don’t have a crush on him!” Emma protested.
Her friend snorted.
“Yeah, sure. Anyway, girl, this is amazing! Finally, you’ve got yourself a Prince Charming!”
Emma smiled shyly, but then sighed.
“The problem is… I don’t know what to wear.”
Her friend groaned dramatically.
“Ugh! If only I was still in the city! You know I would have styled you up perfectly.”
Emma pouted. “I know. You always had the best fashion sense.”
“Well,” her friend said, “we’ll just have to do this over video call.”
“Really?”
“Of course! Go home, freshen up, and call me. We’ll pick out something together.”
Emma beamed. “You’re the best.”
“I know, I know. Now go! Time is ticking!”
Emma hurried home, and as soon as she was out of the shower, she called her friend.
For the next thirty minutes, they went through several dresses, her friend giving strict instructions on what to wear.
Finally, they settled on a sleek black dress that hugged her figure perfectly.
“Oh, girl,” her friend breathed. “Ethan is going to die when he sees you.”
Emma giggled nervously.
Soon after, she arrived at the Fabulous Hotel, her heart pounding.
Ethan was already there.
Waiting for her.
And when she stepped inside, his eyes darkened with admiration as he took her hand.
“You look breathtaking,” he murmured.
Emma blushed, her fingers tightening in his.
She had no idea this night would lead to something even more shocking—
Because, over dinner, Ethan looked into her eyes and said,
“Emma… I want you to be my girlfriend.”
And Emma couldn’t breathe.
