Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 303
Bianca paced restlessly across her apartment living room, her heels clicking against the wooden floor.
Her fingers twisted together, her brows knitted in frustration. Maddie sat on the couch, watching her with folded arms and an exhausted expression.
“You need to calm down, Bianca,” Maddie sighed, adjusting her posture.
“You’ve been pacing for the last hour, and honestly, you’re making me dizzy.”
“Calm down?” Bianca snapped, whirling around to face her.
“How the hell do you expect me to calm down, Maddie? Everything was going perfectly. Everything! And then—” She stopped, taking a deep breath, pressing her fingers against her temple.
Maddie exhaled, shifting her weight. “And then Nathan walked in and ruined everything,” she finished.
Bianca scoffed, crossing her arms tightly.
“Exactly! Just when I had everything under control. Serena was out cold, the men were ready, and—ugh!” She groaned, stomping her foot in frustration.
“Why did he have to show up? Why now?”
Maddie leaned forward.
“Well, maybe the bigger question is—why are you so shocked? You knew this would be risky. Nathan isn’t an idiot, Bianca. You should’ve expected him to keep tabs on you.”
Bianca huffed, rubbing her arms. “I just… I didn’t think he’d figure it out so soon. And now, everything is falling apart. Maddie, he looked at me like I was some kind of criminal. Like I was—” She swallowed hard, shaking her head.
“Like I was nothing to him.”
Maddie studied her carefully before speaking. “Bianca, you did go too far.”
Bianca shot her a glare. “Whose side are you on?”
Maddie threw her hands up. “I’m on your side! But you have to admit—what you did? Drugging Serena? Setting her up like that? That wasn’t just risky, it was stupid.”
Bianca’s hands curled into fists. “I did it for Nathan! For us!”
Maddie scoffed. “Us? Bianca, there is no ‘us’ when it comes to you and Nathan. He broke up with you, remember?”
Bianca flinched at the reminder.
The sting of Nathan walking away from her still hadn’t faded.
She had spent years by his side, believing they were meant to be, only for him to toss her aside like she meant nothing.
And for what?
For a woman like Serena? The CEO of a furniture company?
The thought made her blood boil.
Before she could respond, a sharp knock on the door made both women freeze.
Bianca’s stomach twisted.
Maddie glanced at her. “Are you expecting someone?”
“No,” Bianca whispered.
Another knock, louder this time.
Bianca’s heart pounded. Slowly, she walked toward the door, her pulse racing with each step.
Taking a deep breath, she reached for the handle and pulled it open.
Her breath hitched.
Nathan stood before her, his expression cold and unreadable.
Bianca felt her stomach drop. She barely recognized him—the warmth she once knew in his eyes was gone, replaced by something sharper, something darker.
He looked her up and down, taking in her disheveled state—her wrinkled clothes, her tired eyes, the clear signs of a sleepless night.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Then, Nathan finally broke the silence. “Aren’t you going to invite me in?”
Bianca swallowed hard. “How did you—how did you find my address?”
Nathan scoffed. “Did you really think I wouldn’t know where you were?” His voice was calm, but there was a dangerous edge to it.
Bianca hesitated, but she stepped aside, allowing him to enter.
Maddie, seeing the tension between them, quickly stood up.
“I’ll give you two some space,” she muttered, slipping into Bianca’s bedroom and shutting the door behind her.
The air in the room grew thick with tension as Nathan turned to face Bianca.
“You look awful,” he remarked, his tone void of any concern.
Bianca bristled. “Thanks for the observation.” She crossed her arms, trying to keep her composure.
“What do you want, Nathan?”
Nathan exhaled, his gaze never leaving hers. “Why did you come to Arizona, Bianca?”
Bianca’s stomach clenched. “You already know why,” she whispered.
“Say it,” Nathan demanded, his voice firm.
Bianca lifted her chin, meeting his gaze. “I came for you.”
Nathan let out a bitter chuckle. “You came for me? You left your entire career, your life in Spain, just to chase after a man who broke up with you?” He shook his head in disbelief.
“Do you even hear yourself?”
Bianca’s jaw tightened. “You didn’t just break up with me, Nathan. You threw me away. After everything we had, after all those years together, you—” She inhaled sharply, her voice breaking.
“You left me like I was nothing.”
Nathan’s gaze darkened. “Because you are nothing to me, Bianca.”
Bianca gasped, as if he had physically struck her.
Nathan sighed, running a hand through his hair.
“You were obsessed with me, Bianca. You didn’t love me—you wanted to own me. And that’s not love. That’s control.”
Bianca clenched her fists. “That’s not true!”
“It is,” Nathan said firmly. “And what you did to Serena, It proves it.”
Bianca stiffened. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Nathan let out a humorless laugh.
“Don’t play dumb, Bianca. I know everything. You drugged Serena. You set her up. And for what? Because you thought I had feelings for her?”
Bianca swallowed hard, looking away.
Nathan stepped closer. “You were so focused on destroying her that you didn’t stop to think. And now, you’re the one left with nothing.”
Bianca bit her lip, her hands shaking. “I did it because I love you,” she whispered.
Nathan scoffed. “No, Bianca. You did it because you can’t stand losing.”
Bianca’s eyes burned. “You don’t get it, Nathan. When I saw you with Serena, I felt—” She exhaled shakily.
“I felt betrayed. Replaced.”
Nathan’s expression softened, but only slightly. “You were never replaced, Bianca. You were removed.”
Bianca swallowed past the lump in her throat. “Nathan, please. Just give me another chance. I can change.”
Nathan sighed, shaking his head. “If you want to prove that, then leave.”
Bianca’s breath caught. “What?”
“Go back to Spain,” Nathan said firmly.
“Fix your life. If you do that, maybe—just maybe—I’ll consider talking to you again. But if you stay here, if you pull any more of your schemes—” His voice lowered, his eyes flashing with warning.
“I will make sure you regret it.”
Bianca stood frozen, unable to breathe.
Nathan took a step back, heading toward the door.
Panic surged through her.
She rushed forward, grabbing his arm. “Nathan, please don’t do this!”
Nathan shook her off without hesitation. “Goodbye, Bianca.”
And then, just like that, he was gone.
The door slammed shut, leaving her in silence.
A moment later, Maddie peeked out from the bedroom.
She walked up to Bianca, placing a hand on her shoulder.
“You should listen to him,” Maddie said softly. “Go back to Spain before you ruin yourself completely.”
Bianca didn’t respond.
She just stood there, staring at the door, realizing that she had truly lost Nathan.
Perhaps, she had been so stupid.
