Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 271

The club was alive with flashing lights, loud music, and the heavy scent of alcohol filling the air.

Ryan sat in the VIP section with Ethan, his eyes dark and brooding as he stared at the drink in front of him.

He lifted it and took a long gulp, letting the burning liquid slide down his throat.

Ethan watched him closely, his own drink barely touched.

“Ryan, man, are you seriously planning to drink yourself into oblivion tonight?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Ryan exhaled sharply and set the glass down with a thud.

“What does it look like, Ethan? I just want to forget… everything.”

Ethan leaned back in his chair, swirling his drink in his hand.

“Look, I get it. Things are messed up right now. But drowning yourself in booze isn’t going to fix anything.”

Ryan shot him a glare.

“And what do you suggest I do, huh? Sit at home and think about how everything’s falling apart?”

Ethan sighed, trying to lighten the mood.

“You know, you could always do what normal people do when they’re stressed—hit the gym, go on vacation, I don’t know, maybe find a hobby that doesn’t involve alcohol? You can also go Ice hockey! After all, you are the best at it.”

Ryan smirked bitterly.

“I don’t need a hobby, Ethan. I need a miracle.” He emptied his glass and signaled the bartender for another round.

Ethan shook his head.

“Come on, man. You’re acting like your life is completely over. You’ve still got the company, you’ve still got—”

Ryan cut him off. “I’ve got nothing, Ethan. Nothing that really matters.”

Ethan sighed again and rubbed his temples. “You still have Amy,” he pointed out.

“And Serena… she might hate you right now, but at least she hasn’t completely cut you off.”

Ryan let out a dry chuckle.

“Amy’s the only good thing left. But Serena? She’s such a bitch for lying to me.”

He ran a hand through his hair, frustration evident in his voice.

“I don’t even know if she deserves to be forgiven for sleeping around with different men. She’s a whore!”

Ethan took a sip of his drink and shrugged. “Maybe you don’t have to forgive her, but wallowing like this isn’t gonna help. What you need is to fix things. Make it right.”

Ryan scoffed. “Fix things? Ethan, I can’t even figure out where to start.”

Ethan leaned forward, lowering his voice. “Then start by sobering up and thinking straight.”

Ryan ignored him and reached for his fresh drink.

“I don’t need a lecture. I need another drink.”

Ethan watched as Ryan downed it in one go, his jaw tightening.

“Fine. But don’t come crying to me when you wake up with a hangover and the same damn problems.”

Meanwhile, at a dark corner of the club, three men sat watching Ryan and Ethan with malicious grins on their faces.

Jake, the leader of the trio, clenched his jaw as he stared at Ryan.

“There he is,” he muttered. “The reason Kate barely has time for me anymore. That son of a bitch.”

His friend, Vince, took a slow sip of his drink.

“Seriously, man? You’re still hung up on that chick? She’s playing both of you.”

Jake shot him a glare.

“I don’t care! I was fine with it before, but now Ryan’s acting like he owns her.” He banged his fist on the table.

“I’m done with this. It’s time to teach him a lesson.”

The third man, Chris, leaned back in his seat.

“So what’s the plan, Jake? We can’t exactly just walk up and punch him in the face.”

Jake smirked. “No, we’re going to do something better. We’re gonna make him disappear. Tonight.”

Vince raised an eyebrow. “Disappear? You mean…?”

Jake nodded, lowering his voice.

“Murder him, you idiot. We’ll make it look like a robbery gone wrong. No one will suspect a thing.”

Chris shifted nervously. “Man, that’s… that’s serious. We could get caught.”

Jake waved him off.

“Not if we do it right. We’ll make it quick and disappear before anyone knows what happened.” He pulled out a small packet from his pocket and showed it to them.

“See this? It’s gonna knock him out cold.”

Vince leaned forward, examining it. “What is it?”

Jake grinned. “Something that’ll put him out long enough for us to handle the rest.”

Chris still looked unsure. “You sure about this, Jake? I mean, this is a big deal.”

Jake slammed his fist on the table. “I’m sure! Are you in or not?”

Vince shrugged. “I’m in. Let’s do it.”

Chris hesitated before nodding reluctantly. “Alright… but this had better work!”

Jake smirked. “Trust me, it’ll work.”

He waved over a waitress, slipping a few bills into her hand. “Hey sweetheart, I’ve got a little favor to ask.”

The waitress raised an eyebrow. “Yeah? What do you need?”

Jake handed her the packet.

“See that guy over there? The one in the suit? Slip this into his drink. Just a little. You’ll get another fat tip if you do it right.”

She eyed the cash and smirked. “You got it.”

A few minutes later, Ryan and Ethan ordered another round. The waitress sauntered over, placing their drinks on the table.

She leaned in close to Ethan, biting her lip seductively.

“Here you go, handsome,” she purred.

Ethan grinned, completely distracted by her flirtatious gaze. “Thanks, sweetheart.”

Meanwhile, Ryan took his drink and gulped it down without hesitation.

The waitress walked away, swaying her hips, and Ethan couldn’t help but watch.

“Man, she’s something else,” he muttered.

Ryan rolled his eyes. “You’re hopeless, Ethan.”

Ethan smirked. “Come on, you can’t tell me you didn’t notice how hot she is.”

Ryan scoffed. “I’ve got enough problems without adding a flirty waitress to the list.”

Ethan chuckled. “Relax, man. It’s harmless fun.”

Ryan groaned, rubbing his temples. “Whatever. I need another drink.”

But before he could order, he started feeling dizzy, his vision blurring.

“Whoa… I think I had too much,” he slurred.

Ethan frowned. “Ryan, are you okay?”

Ryan swayed in his seat. “I… I don’t feel so good.”

Ethan quickly stood up. “Alright, that’s it. We’re getting you out of here.”

He wrapped an arm around Ryan’s shoulders and helped him up.

As they staggered toward the exit, heading towards the parking lot, the three men emerged from the shadows, their eyes filled with malice.

“Now’s our chance. This place is so dark that no one would notice what’s going on.” Jake whispered to the others.

“That’s true. Let’s get to it.” Chris uttered with an evil grin.

Ethan didn’t see that coming. Thus, Before he could react, they lunged at them unexpectedly.

The first blow had landed on Ethan’s cheekbone.

Ethan shoved Ryan to the ground and took a fighting stance— Trying to get over the pain erupting from his cheek.

“Stay down, Ryan!”

The attackers came at him with sharp objects, but Ethan dodged expertly, using his taekwondo skills to counter their moves.

He kicked one of them in the chest, sending him flying, and punched another square in the face.

Jake cursed. “Get him, you idiots!”

But Ethan was too fast, dodging their blows and landing his own punches.

One by one, they fell to the ground, groaning in pain.

Seeing they were outmatched, the men scrambled to their feet and ran off into the night.

Ethan exhaled sharply, wiping sweat off his forehead. He crouched beside Ryan, who had passed out.

“Come on, man. Let’s get you out of here.”

He lifted Ryan into the car and sped off, glancing in the rearview mirror to make sure no one was following them.

“Those guys were so lucky I didn’t kick their balls!” Ethan mumbled as he stepped harder on the accelerator.
