Kate reclined on her couch, her phone pressed to her ear as she laughed. Her eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she spoke.

“Rolly, you should’ve seen Serena’s face last night at the ball. I called her a slut right in front of everyone. I told them how she slept her way to the top, and do you know what? She just stood there like a fool! She didn’t even defend herself!”

On the other end, Rolly sighed. “Kate…”

“She just stood there, looking pathetic,” Kate continued, flipping her long hair over her shoulder.

“Not a single word! I made sure everyone at that party knew what kind of woman she really is. It was humiliating for her!”

“Kate,” Rolly cut in, “that’s actually why I called you.”

Kate frowned. “Huh? What do you mean?”

Rolly hesitated before saying, “I came across a video of what happened last night.”

Kate’s lips curled into a smirk.

“Oh? You saw how I completely destroyed her, right? I made sure everyone made mockery of her. If she isn’t a slut, how the hell did she suddenly own a company after divorcing Ryan? I know she would be cursed at and that’s why I purposely said those words to her.”

Rolly was silent for a moment before she spoke.

“Kate… you might want to check the comment section. Everything you’re saying now is totally different from what I had read some minutes ago in the comment section. Get your laptop and check it out.”

Kate scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Why would I? I already know everyone must be agreeing with me. She’s the bitch here. The slut who follows men around just for money. I do know her type of woman. They are Innocent outside and a crazy slut when torn open for different eyes to see.”

Rolly cleared her throat.

“That’s the thing, Kate. They’re not taking sides with you! Everyone in the comment section is bashing you. You’re the target, Kate.”

“They’re all insulting you instead. You ain’t the saint here Kate. You’re the villain who is humiliating an innocent lady,” Rolly admitted, her voice cautious.

“No, Kate,” Rolly corrected.

“It made you look bad instead. Everyone in the comments is praising Serena for handling it with grace, and they’re dragging you through the mud. They’re calling you jealous, bitter, and—”

“Just Shut the hell up!” Kate barked, shooting up from the couch in rage.

“Kate, I’m serious,” Rolly sighed. “I wouldn’t have called you if it wasn’t very bad. It’s so very bad Kate and you seriously need to check it out now.”

Kate’s breath came in short, angry bursts.

She hurriedly opened her social media with her laptop and searched for the video.

When she found it, her stomach twisted at the number of views.

It was everywhere.

With trembling fingers, she clicked on the comments.

— “Ms Serena didn’t even say a word, and yet Kate looks like the villain. This is karma at its finest.”

— “I used to like Kate, but now? She’s just a desperate bitch.”

— “Imagine humiliating yourself in front of everyone and thinking you won. Serena is the real queen here.”

— “Ryan must be so ashamed of ever dating someone like her.”

Kate’s eyes burned as she scrolled. Every comment was against her. Every single one.

Her lips trembled in disbelief before she let out a furious scream, throwing her laptop across the room.

“They’re all idiots!” she shrieked.

“How dare they turn this on me? That woman is the real snake! She fooled them all!”

Rolly sighed. “Kate, maybe you should let this go. It’s clear that Ryan doesn’t—”

“Don’t you dare!” Kate snapped, her chest rising and falling with rage.

“Don’t you dare say that Ryan doesn’t love me anymore!”

Rolly hesitated. “But, Kate—”

“I will get rid of Serena and Amy for good,” Kate hissed, her eyes burning with determination.

“And I already have the perfect plan.”

Rolly was silent for a moment before she muttered, “Just… take care of yourself, Kate.”

Kate scoffed. “I don’t need to. Ryan will take care of me once I get rid of them.”

With that, she ended the call.

Meanwhile,

Bianca sat in her living room, staring at her phone screen.

Nathan’s words echoed in her mind.

“If you stay here, if you pull any more of your schemes, I will make sure you regret it.”

She exhaled, running a hand through her hair.

She had lost. There was no way to fix things now.

Her finger hovered over Serena’s contact.

After a moment, she typed out a message.

Bianca: I’m sorry for everything. I was wrong. I hope you find happiness.

She stared at the message for a few seconds before hitting send.

Then, without hesitation, she turned off her phone.

“Maddie,” she called softly.

Maddie walked in, suitcase in hand. “You ready?”

Bianca nodded. “Let’s go.”

Together, they left the room, heading to the airport.

As Bianca boarded her flight to Spain, Maddie stood by, watching the plane disappear into the night sky.

Back at Kate’s Apartment,

Kate sat in front of her vanity, applying the final touches to her makeup.

“He’s supposed to pick me up!” she growled. “Why hasn’t he called?”

“I won’t let him ignore me!” she screamed, knocking over a chair.

She stormed around the apartment, tossing pillows, breaking glass, throwing anything she could find.

By the time she stopped, the room was a mess.

Kate stood in the middle of the destruction, panting heavily.

At the Winters’ Residence,

Ryan sat at the dining table, quietly eating his meal. His father sat at the head of the table, while his mother smiled warmly across from him.

“Ryan, dear,” Mrs. Winters spoke up, “where is Kate?”

Ryan paused, his jaw tightening. “She had an urgent call and couldn’t come.”

Mrs. Winters frowned but didn’t press further.

“That’s unfortunate,” she sighed, taking a sip of wine.

“I was hoping to see her tonight.”

Ryan forced a smile. “Maybe next time.”

The conversation shifted, but Ryan barely paid attention. His mind wandered to the ball party.

Kate was getting worse.
