Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 275

Ryan sat at his desk, rubbing his temples as he stared at the endless pile of documents in front of him.

His mind was restless, filled with thoughts about the custody case and everything happening around him.

With a sigh, he pressed the intercom button.

“Jefferson, come to my office.” His voice was firm but tired.

A few moments later, the door opened, and Jefferson stepped inside.

He was dressed sharply, as always, with his neatly pressed suit and a folder tucked under his arm.

“You called for me, sir?”

Ryan nodded, leaning back in his chair.

“Yes. I need you to book a meeting with my lawyer this evening. It’s important.”

Jefferson’s eyebrows lifted slightly. “Of course, sir. Is there anything specific I should mention when I contact him?”

Ryan tapped his fingers on the desk thoughtfully.

“Just let him know it’s about my custody case. I need updates and the next steps. I don’t want any delays.”

Jefferson nodded, jotting down a note on his tablet. “Understood, sir.

I’ll arrange it right away. Shall I have him come here to the office or would you prefer to meet him elsewhere?”

Ryan considered for a moment.

“I’ll go over to him. I don’t have time to go anywhere else. Let’s keep it discreet too. I don’t want anyone to know about this yet.”

Jefferson gave a small nod.

“I’ll make sure everything is handled confidentially, Mr. Winters. Is there anything else you’d like me to prepare for the meeting?”

Ryan sighed. “Just have all the recent documents on my desk before he arrives. I need to go through them again.”

“I’ll get that done,” Jefferson said efficiently, then shifted his stance.

“On another note, sir, I wanted to update you on the current happenings in the company.”

Ryan gestured for him to continue. “Go on.”

Jefferson cleared his throat and opened the folder he had brought.

“First, regarding the marketing campaign for the new hotel branch, the team has finalized the strategies, and they’re set to launch in two weeks.

However, the creative department has raised some concerns about the advertisements not aligning with the brand image you initially approved.”

Ryan frowned slightly. “What kind of concerns?”

Jefferson flipped a page.

“They believe the campaign is too modern and might not appeal to our core clientele—those who have been with us for years. They’re suggesting a more classic approach.”

Ryan drummed his fingers on the desk.

“I see. Schedule a meeting with them tomorrow morning. I want to hear their suggestions and see if we can find a balance.”

Jefferson noted it down.

“Got it, sir. Also, the finance team has completed the quarterly reports. Profits have increased by 12%, which is a good sign, but there’s been a slight increase in operational costs. They’re suggesting cutting down on unnecessary expenses.”

Ryan nodded. “Tell them to come up with a detailed plan on how they intend to do that without affecting quality.”

“I’ll relay that to them,” Jefferson responded.

“Lastly, there have been some minor complaints from our hotel in Miami. Some customers are unhappy with the renovations taking longer than expected.”

Ryan sighed. “Handle it. Get someone competent down there to oversee it personally and speed things up.”

“I’ll arrange that,” Jefferson assured him.

“Anything else, sir?”

Ryan shook his head. “That’s all for now.”

Jefferson closed his folder. “I’ll take care of everything and get back to you with updates.”

Ryan gave him a nod, signaling him to leave. As Jefferson walked out, Ryan leaned back in his chair and exhaled deeply.

Just then, his phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and saw his father’s name flashing.

He quickly picked up the call. “Dad?”

“Ryan,” Mr. Winters’ deep voice came through the line. “How are you doing, son?”

“I’m fine, Dad. You rarely call. What’s going on?”

His father chuckled lightly. “I suppose I do call only when it’s important.”

Ryan sat up straighter. “What is it?”

“I need you to fly to Paris,” Mr. Winters said without hesitation.

“There’s an important business meeting you must attend. The deal is worth billions, and our client has already made all the arrangements for your stay.”

Ryan frowned. “Paris? When?”

“Tomorrow,” his father replied.

Ryan pinched the bridge of his nose. “Dad, I have things going on here. You know I’m working on so many things at the moment that need my attention.”

“I understand that,” Mr. Winters said, his tone firm.

“But this is a huge business deal, Ryan. It’s a massive opportunity. One we can’t afford to lose.”

Ryan sighed heavily. “And there’s no one else who can go?”

“No one but you,” his father said simply. “You’re the face of the company now. They trust you. It has to be you.”

Ryan clenched his jaw.

He hated how his father always managed to pull him back into business matters no matter what he had going on in his personal life.

“Fine,” he finally said. “Send me all the details via email.”

“Good,” his father replied. “I knew you’d understand. I’ll have everything sent to you within the hour.”

Ryan ended the call with a sigh. He ran a hand through his hair, feeling conflicted.

He couldn’t let business interfere with his fight for Amy, but he also couldn’t say no to his father.

Picking up his phone again, he pressed the intercom.

“Jefferson, come back in.”

Jefferson returned swiftly. “Yes, sir?”

“Change of plans,” Ryan said.

“We’re flying to Paris tomorrow for an important business meeting. Book the earliest flight and make sure all travel arrangements are in place.”

Jefferson nodded. “Understood, sir. I’ll book the flights right away. Do you have any specific hotel preferences?”

Ryan nods his head. “I guess so. My father mentioned that all of that would be taken care of by the clients.”

“I’ll handle other things then,” Jefferson assured him. “Shall I reschedule your other appointments?”

“Yes, push them to next week. And make sure the legal meeting still happens today.”

Jefferson left the office, and Ryan stared at his phone again.

There was one more thing he had to do before leaving town.

He scrolled through his contacts and called Serena.

The phone rang several times before she finally picked up.

“What do you want, Ryan?” her voice came, clearly irritated.

“I’m not calling to argue,” Ryan said flatly.

“I need to see Amy tonight. I’m leaving town for a few days for something urgent.”

There was a long pause before Serena replied, “I don’t think that’s necessary, Ryan.”

“She’s my daughter, Serena,” Ryan said, his voice tense. “I want to see her before I leave.”

Serena sighed. “Fine. But you’re not coming to my house or my office.”

Ryan frowned. “Then where?”

“I’ll take her to the café near Rocky’s Designs after school. You can see her there,” Serena said firmly.

Ryan hesitated for a moment. “Alright. I’ll be there.”

Without another word, Serena ended the call.

Ryan put his phone down and sighed.
