Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 389
The morning was bright, but for Serena, the day was already long before it even began.
As she stepped out of her car in front of Rocky’s Designs, she clutched her phone tightly, already knowing what awaited her. The private investigator she had hired had finally delivered again.
And what he sent her?
It was worse than she ever imagined.
With each step she took toward the elevator, her grip tightened on her phone, her entire body humming with rage and disbelief.
The moment the elevator doors slid shut, Serena clicked on the video file she had received just minutes ago.
Her heart stopped.
The screen flickered to life, and there it was—undeniable proof of everything she had suspected.
Thomas Winters.
Kate Andrews.
Together.
Not just scheming behind closed doors.
Not just plotting to destroy her.
They were lovers.
The private investigator had done his job perfectly, capturing every single moment from the previous night.
The footage was clear, crisp, damning.
Serena’s stomach twisted violently as she watched Thomas and Kate in a luxurious villa, locked in a passionate embrace.
Kate was straddling Thomas on the couch, her silk dress slipping off her shoulders, her hands tangled in his hair.
Thomas, always the composed businessman, looked completely undone, his hands roaming over her body.
Serena clenched her jaw as she swiped to the next video.
It was of them heading into the bedroom.
And then, more high-resolution pictures followed—Kate smirking as Thomas leaned in, his lips brushing against her neck.
Then, one of them kissing deeply on the balcony.
And finally, the worst one—a shot of them in a standing position and then in bed together, tangled in silk sheets, completely lost in each other.
Serena felt sick.
Her stomach churned with disgust, her breath coming in short gasps.
“So this is what they’ve been doing behind closed doors?” she muttered under her breath, rage boiling inside her.
She had known they were working together—plotting against her, trying to take her down, ruin her company.
But this?
This was beyond betrayal.
How the hell did Kate have the audacity to cling to Ryan for years, pretending to be the perfect girlfriend, while secretly sleeping with his father?
Serena’s fingers tightened around her phone as the elevator doors opened to her office floor.
She walked with purpose, her expression unreadable, but inside, she was seething.
Kate wasn’t just an enemy anymore.
She was a disgusting, shameless snake.
And now?
Serena was going to expose her.
—
The moment she stepped into her office, she didn’t bother sitting down. She tossed her bag on the desk, slammed the door shut behind her, and immediately dialed Emma’s extension.
“Get in here. Now.”
She didn’t wait for a response before ending the call.
Not even a minute later, the door opened, and Emma stepped inside, already sensing something was wrong.
The tension in the air was thick, suffocating.
Emma’s brows furrowed as she studied Serena’s expression. “What happened?”
Serena didn’t say a word.
Instead, she grabbed her phone and slid it across the desk toward Emma.
“Watch,” she said, her voice cold, sharp, lethal.
Emma hesitated, but when she saw the video files, her eyes widened.
She tapped on the first video, and within seconds, her expression twisted in horror.
Her hand flew to her mouth as she watched. “Oh… my… God.”
Serena crossed her arms, waiting.
Emma clicked through the pictures next, her face twisting in disgust and shock.
“Is this—? Is this real?!” she asked, almost unable to believe her own eyes.
Serena let out a cold, humorless laugh. “It’s as real as it gets.”
Emma placed a hand on the desk to steady herself. “So they’re not just working together—they’re literally sleeping together?”
Serena scoffed, shaking her head. “Oh, it’s worse than that, Emma.”
She snatched her phone back, scrolling to one of the worst images and holding it up.
“Look at them,” she said through gritted teeth. “That’s Ryan’s father. The man Kate has been desperately trying to marry into. And instead of staying loyal to her so-called fiancé, she’s fucking his father.”
Emma exhaled sharply, running a hand through her hair. “That’s… that’s disgusting.”
Serena leaned against her desk, her expression unreadable. “I always knew Kate was a snake. But this? This is on another level.”
Emma sat down across from her, still shaking her head in disbelief. “Does Ryan have any idea this is happening?”
Serena narrowed her eyes. “Of course not. If he did, Kate wouldn’t still be in his life. He’s blind to who she really is.”
Emma leaned forward. “So what do we do? You’re not just going to sit on this, are you?”
Serena let out a cold smirk.
“Absolutely not,” she said darkly. “Kate and Thomas have been trying to ruin me. They’ve been plotting, scheming, spreading lies about me.”
She gestured at the screen.
“But now? Now I have something real. Something damning. Something that’s going to ruin them instead.”
Emma exhaled, nodding. “We need to be careful with this, though. If we release it too fast, they’ll find a way to spin the narrative.”
Serena’s eyes gleamed with calculated precision. “Oh, I know. We’re not just going to drop this like some random scandal. We’re going to weaponize it.”
Emma smirked. “You have a plan?”
Serena’s lips curled into a knowing smile.
“Oh, I have more than a plan, Emma.” She leaned forward. “I’m about to burn them both to the ground.”
Emma let out a slow exhale, excitement flickering in her gaze. “Tell me what you need me to do.”
Serena sat up straighter. “First, we’re making copies of everything. We keep backups on separate drives. I don’t trust anyone to not try and erase this.”
Emma nodded. “Done.”
Serena’s smirk deepened.
“Then, we start leaking breadcrumbs. A whisper here, a rumor there. Nothing obvious. Nothing too big at first.”
Emma grinned. “You want the media to dig on their own.”
Serena’s gaze darkened. “Exactly. Let them think they’ve uncovered something. Let the story spread like wildfire before we drop the bomb.”
Emma exhaled, shaking her head in amazement. “You are truly terrifying when you want to be.”
Serena simply smirked.
“This isn’t just revenge, Emma.” She tapped the phone again.
“This is justice.”
