Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 358

Kate sat in the dimly lit hotel suite, sipping her wine as she waited. The soft hum of the air conditioner filled the room, but her mind was far from calm.

She had been restless since her last conversation with Ryan’s parents, and even though Thomas had promised to handle things, she needed reassurance.

Her phone buzzed.

I’m here.

Kate smirked, setting her glass down. A few seconds later, a knock sounded at the door.

She walked over, unlocking it smoothly, and stepped aside as Mr. Thomas Winters strode in, looking as composed as ever.

“You’re late,” she murmured, shutting the door behind him.

Thomas loosened his tie, glancing at her with a smirk. “Traffic.”

Kate poured him a glass of wine, handing it to him before taking a seat on the couch. “So?” she asked, raising a brow. “How did it go with Serena?”

Thomas took a slow sip before setting the glass down. He studied Kate for a moment, then exhaled. “She’s not letting Ryan go.”

Kate’s jaw tightened. “Of course she isn’t.”

“She’s still playing her little game, acting as if she doesn’t care, but it’s obvious she’s got her claws in him again.”

Kate narrowed her eyes. “What exactly did she say?”

Thomas shrugged, running a hand through his graying hair. “That Ryan keeps coming back to her. That she has no reason to walk away.”

Kate clenched her fists. “She thinks she’s won.”

Thomas nodded. “She does.”

Kate let out a bitter laugh, shaking her head. “I knew it. That little witch has been stringing him along this whole time. Making him feel guilty, keeping him close so he can’t fully be with me.”

Thomas watched her, his face unreadable. “She’s smart.”

Kate scoffed. “No, she’s desperate.” She turned to him, her voice colder now. “What are we going to do?”

Thomas leaned back against the couch, swirling the wine in his glass.

“I gave Ryan a chance to listen. I told him to end things with Serena, to focus on his engagement.” He paused, then let out a sigh. “But knowing my son, he won’t listen.”

Kate crossed her arms. “So what? We just sit back and watch her ruin everything?”

Thomas’s gaze darkened. “No.” He placed his glass down and leaned forward. “If Ryan doesn’t make the right choice soon, we’ll have to make it for him.”

Kate stilled. “What do you mean?”

Thomas met her eyes. “I mean, if he won’t leave Serena willingly, we’ll have to remove her.”

Kate’s heart pounded.

“Remove her?” she echoed.

Thomas’s lips curled into a slow, knowing smile. “For good.”

Kate felt a thrill run through her. She had been waiting for this, waiting for Thomas to finally realize that talking wasn’t going to work.

“She’s the problem,” Kate whispered. “If she’s gone, Ryan will finally see that he belongs with me.”

Thomas nodded. “Exactly.”

Kate leaned in slightly, her voice softer now. “How?”

Thomas smirked. “That’s the easy part.”

Kate’s breath hitched slightly as she processed his words.

She had known Thomas was powerful. She had known he wasn’t a man who tolerated obstacles.

And now, he was giving her exactly what she wanted.

She just had to be ready to take it.

Kate swallowed, placing her hand over his. “When?”

Thomas’s smirk widened. “Soon.”

Kate exhaled sharply, squeezing his hand. “Make sure it’s permanent.”

Thomas chuckled. “Oh, it will be.”

The room fell into silence, the air thick with anticipation.

Kate leaned back against the couch, a slow, satisfied smile spreading across her lips.

Serena Winthrop’s days were numbered.

“What exactly do you have in mind?” she asked slowly, her voice low.

Thomas set his glass down, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. “I haven’t decided yet. But one thing is clear—Serena is a problem. And I don’t let problems linger.”

Kate smirked, running a finger along the rim of her glass. “Neither do I.”

Thomas studied her for a long moment, his expression unreadable. “Are you sure you’re ready for this?”

Kate scoffed, rolling her eyes. “You’re asking me that now?” She leaned forward, her voice dripping with frustration. “I have waited years for this, Thomas. I have been patient, I have played nice, I have let Ryan go back and forth like some lost little boy. I’m done waiting.”

Thomas nodded. “Good.”

Kate placed her glass down and leaned back against the couch, crossing her legs. “So, do we have someone in mind?”

Thomas let out a slow chuckle. “You think this is as easy as hiring a hitman?”

Kate shrugged. “Isn’t it?”

Thomas shook his head. “You’re impulsive. That’s your problem. If we’re going to do this, it has to be clean. No loose ends.”

Kate let out an impatient sigh. “Fine. What’s the plan, then?”

Thomas leaned forward, his voice dropping. “First, we need to isolate her. Make her vulnerable. Right now, she’s comfortable. She has Ryan running after her like a fool, she has her company recovering, she feels untouchable.”

Kate nodded, her fingers gripping her knee. “So we make her feel alone.”

“Exactly,” Thomas said. “If we strip away everything she’s holding on to, she’ll have no choice but to break.”

Kate bit her lip, thinking. “Her company is already weak. Some of her clients still haven’t returned.”

Thomas smirked. “Then we make sure they never do.”

Kate’s lips curled. “I like the way you think.”

“We’ll start slow. A few well-placed rumors, a little pressure from the right people,” Thomas continued. “Before she realizes what’s happening, she’ll be on the verge of collapse.”

Kate sighed dramatically. “And what about Ryan? He’s the real problem, Thomas. As long as he keeps running to her, she won’t break.”

Thomas exhaled. “Ryan will come around. He won’t have a choice.”

Kate narrowed her eyes. “And if he doesn’t?”

Thomas’s smirk faded. “Then we make him.”

Kate shivered slightly, but it wasn’t fear—it was excitement.

She had been waiting for this moment for so long.

Ryan thought he could choose Serena.

Serena thought she had won.

But they were both wrong.

Kate stood, walking over to Thomas and placing a hand on his shoulder. “When do we start?”

Thomas glanced up at her, his smirk returning. “Tomorrow.”

Kate grinned. “Perfect.”

The room fell silent again, but this time, the tension had shifted.

They weren’t just talking anymore.

They were both kissing and smooching themselves with moans erupting from their mouths.
