Rejected By My Mate; Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets Chapter 364
The entire building of Rocky’s Designs was in complete chaos.
Emma sat at her desk, her fingers flying over the keyboard as she drafted yet another email, her phone buzzing every few seconds with updates that only made her headache worse.
The entire PR team was scrambling to contain the disaster, but the situation was spiraling out of control faster than they could manage.
Phones were ringing non-stop, employees whispering in frantic huddles, and every few minutes, someone would rush into her office with another bad update.
She could feel the panic in the air.
The pictures of Serena and Ryan at the airport had already flooded every major media outlet, and just when they thought the scandal couldn’t get any worse, the internet had exploded again.
This time, it wasn’t just about Ryan.
Now, there were pictures of Serena with Lucas at the shopping mall, laughing and talking, and the headlines were even more brutal than before.
“Serena Winthrop: The Woman Who Can’t Pick One Man!”
“Ryan’s Ex-Wife Caught Flirting With Mystery Man—Is She Playing Both Sides?”
“Serena’s Scandals: Is Rocky’s Designs Headed for Another Downfall?”
Emma read the comments under the articles, her stomach twisting at how ruthless people were.
“She’s such a joke. Ryan is engaged, and she’s still chasing after him? And now she’s with another guy?”
“No wonder Rocky’s Designs is crumbling. Their CEO is too busy juggling men to actually focus on her company.”
“Disgusting. If she had any self-respect, she’d stay out of Ryan’s life. Poor Kate.”
“Why is she even CEO? A woman like this doesn’t belong in the business world.”
Emma clenched her fists, trying to calm the rage bubbling inside her.
She knew this wasn’t just a coincidence. This wasn’t just bad luck.
Someone was doing this on purpose.
And she had a damn good idea who.
She grabbed her phone and immediately called Lisa, the company’s PR specialist.
“Tell me we have something,” Emma demanded the second Lisa picked up.
Lisa sighed heavily. “We’re trying, but it’s like throwing water on a wildfire. No one cares about the truth. They just want drama.”
Emma gritted her teeth. “We need to push the Paris trip harder. Shift the conversation to her business deal. Make people focus on something other than her personal life.”
Lisa hesitated. “There’s a problem with that.”
Emma frowned. “What now?”
Lisa exhaled. “Some of our investors are already pulling out. They’re saying this is the final straw. The board is being pressured to take action against Serena.”
Emma’s heart sank.
This was exactly what the board had warned Serena about.
If they decided to force her out as CEO, everything Serena had built could come crashing down.
Emma stood abruptly, pacing the office. “No. We’re not letting this happen. We need to control the narrative before it’s too late.”
Lisa hesitated. “And how do you propose we do that?”
Emma clenched her jaw. “Get me a meeting with one of the major news outlets. Someone who isn’t looking for a scandal but an actual story. We need to remind people who Serena Winthrop is—what she’s built, what she’s accomplished. If we don’t fight back now, we might lose everything.”
Lisa was silent for a moment before finally responding. “I’ll see what I can do.”
Emma ended the call and slammed her phone onto the desk, breathing heavily.
Someone was orchestrating this.
And if she found out who, she was going to make them regret it.
Meanwhile, in a lavish hotel suite, Kate lounged on the king-sized bed, swirling a glass of red wine in her hand as she watched Thomas Winters pace the room.
She could feel the tension in his movements, the calculated satisfaction in his smirk as he checked his phone every few minutes, watching the chaos unfold online.
Kate took a slow sip of her wine, stretching her legs out lazily. “So,” she purred, “you’re telling me the person you hired got these pictures?”
Thomas finally turned to face her, a pleased glint in his eyes. “Yes. I told you I’d handle it, didn’t I?”
Kate grinned, leaning forward slightly. “And I’m assuming this is just the beginning?”
Thomas chuckled, setting his phone aside as he walked over to the bed. “Of course. A scandal like this doesn’t just fade overnight. The media will keep digging, and the more they find, the weaker Serena becomes.”
Kate sighed dramatically. “And here I thought she was untouchable.”
Thomas smirked, taking a seat beside her. “No one is untouchable, my dear. Not even Serena Winthrop.”
Kate placed her wine glass on the nightstand, crawling closer to him. “Tell me, Mr. Winters, what happens next?”
Thomas reached out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “Next, we let the fire spread. The more the public turns against her, the more pressure the board will feel. And when the time is right, they’ll have no choice but to consider removing her as CEO.”
Kate’s heart pounded with excitement. “And then?”
Thomas smirked. “Then, Rocky’s Designs will be vulnerable. And when the time is right, we take everything from her.”
Kate gasped, her eyes shining with anticipation. “I love this.”
Thomas chuckled, running a hand through his silver-streaked hair. “I thought you would.”
Kate crawled onto his lap, looping her arms around his neck. “You always know how to get things done.”
He smirked. “I didn’t build my empire by being soft.”
Kate leaned in, her lips inches from his. “You’re ruthless.”
“And you love it,” he murmured.
She giggled, pressing her lips against his.
Outside the hotel room, the world was still tearing Serena apart.
And inside, Kate and Thomas were savoring every moment of it, reveling in the destruction they had orchestrated.
Kate pulled away slightly, her fingers trailing down Thomas’s chest. “How long before the board takes action?”
Thomas smirked. “Not long now. If things keep going this way, Serena will be out before she even steps foot back in the country.”
Kate’s breath hitched with excitement. “And Ryan?”
Thomas’s expression darkened slightly. “He’s still the wildcard. But don’t worry. He’ll fall in line soon enough.”
Kate sighed, resting her head against his shoulder. “I can’t wait to see her fall.”
Thomas chuckled, stroking her hair. “Patience, my dear. The best downfalls are the ones that happen slowly.”
Kate smirked. “Then I hope she suffers every second of it.”
Thomas kissed the top of her head. “Oh, she will.”
The two clinked their glasses together, savoring the taste of their success.
“To achieve more achievements…” Kate beamed.
“Yes, baby. More wins to us my love.” Mr Thomas grinned and kissed her.
