The Tripartite Mate Bond Chapter 106: CHAPTER HUNDRED AND SIX

As I walked out of the elevator with Cora behind me, all I could think about was how much I loved being a woman.

She had ransacked my wardrobe, shaking her head at everything in there and considering these were brand new clothes that she helped in picking, that said a lot.

Finally she'd picked a burgundy colored gown with small hands for me and when I wore it, I finally understood why she'd gone through the pains of choosing something so damn perfect.

The gown hugged my curves, making me realize I actually did have more curves now than when I'd come into this world of fire breathing dragons, werewolves, witches and vampires.

The gown had a sweetheart neckline and a slit that went up above my knees, making me feel sexier than I've felt in ages.

I paired it with the tear drop earrings Ares had gotten for me. Out of all my mates, he spoiled me the most and considering how much they took the word princess literally, that was saying a lot. I wore my power pearls out of habit and Cora brushed my hair down, covering my open shoulders.

The heels were a bit uncomfortable but they made this whole outfit look amazing so I sucked it up; I'll probably take it off if it gets unbearable. I know my mates and they won't want me to be uncomfortable.

My makeup was light considering it was dinner we were heading to and I can't count how many times I'd thanked Cora.

She just seemed too excited getting me dolled up.

As I walked into the lobby, the smile on my face was the realest it has ever been in the last month.

My mates, Kane and Axel were already waiting for me and their reactions at seeing me had me spinning around to get more of it. I felt like a princess and not the type that disappointed her parents by being born.

“Baby, you look drop-dead gorgeous and fuck, you smell delicious,” Kane said as he walked up to me and took my hands and kissed it before walking back the direction I'd come from, confusing me but his theatrics covered up for it.

I couldn't help the giggle that escaped my throat as he blew me kisses and I knew I was going to be smiling all night.

“He's right, Princess. I have the strange urge to print your face on a billboard,” Axel added as he kissed my forehead instead.

“Really? What would I be advertising?” I asked with a smile.

“Your perfect face of course. But you'll cause a traffic jam so no, I think we'll keep you to ourselves instead,” he smiled at me.

“I like that idea,” I said to him as I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him slowly and hard, my lipstick rubbing off on his lips.

We laughed at it as I tried cleaning it off with my thumb.

“Don't worry about it, love. I want everyone to know I'm yours,”

“Shouldn't it be the other way around or I've been reading too much Mafia smut?” I wondered out loud.

*Smack!* A hand slapped my ass but not enough to hurt

“Ouch!” I shrieked; “What was that for?” I asked Kane who draped a fur coat over my shoulder. Now I know where he had run off to.

“You're reading about other men?” He growled in a way that showed he wasn't really angry.

“Yes,” I replied indignantly, hands akimbo.

They both fake gasped.

“Preposterous!” Axel reacted like a third class actress, his hand on his chest making me laugh again and Kane slapped my bum again and I stuck out my tongue at him.

“Who's this vixen and what has she done with our shy little mate?” He said as he bit my ear making me let out a breathy moan.

“Are y'all gonna actually go to the date or you're going to give us a peep show here in the lobby?” Beta Jayden asked us, amused at our antics.

“Fine, we'll get out of your hair,” I huffed and walked out into the pack house with my mates in tow as he laughed hard behind us.

“Who's driving?” Axel asked as we got closer to the parking lot.

“Not me, I can't keep my hands off our beautiful mate,” Kane replied and he was right. His hands had wandered from my hair to my neck and he kept kissing my mark, the one he placed on me.

I noticed how they always stood by the point where they marked me as they would kiss it unprovoked and it helped diminish that nagging feeling of being branded. I actually loved being marked as theirs, no one messed with me and I had what many women would never dream of, the attention of three dashingly handsome men.

I had forgotten that in my feeling of despair over my parents who didn't even make any effort to get to know me. They shipped me off to the other end of the earth and dedicated their lives to hating me.

Well, fuck them. I had three men and two packs who made me feel on top of the world, not forgetting Lyra who I was currently avoiding her prompts to speak to me. I wasn't ready for her disappointment at having a fireless rider. I mean, what was my use to her? All that power and she gets to be paired with me. I wasn't ready to face the disappointment yet so I decided to revel in my mates who were going back and forth who would drive and who gets to sit at the back with me.

It was funny and I loved this playful part of them, it seemed like I'd unlocked a new version of them tonight.

Maybe they were on the same mindset I was on; to enjoy tonight and leave all my problema for the next day.

We walked into the parking lot and I noticed a new vehicle, this one sleeker and smaller than the first one Kane had been driving

“You got a new car?” I exclaimed as I ran to the front passenger seat and entered it, strapping myself in.

To my amusement, I saw the two of them exchange a look before Axel died for the key in Kane's hand and literally flicked his tongue at him in mockery.

It was so funny, the big, badass alpha that had people shivering was making funny faces at Kane who pouted in mild annoyance.

They got in while laughing at each other and we drove off.
