The Tripartite Mate Bond Chapter 69: CHAPTER SIXTY-NINE

I woke up and I felt quite groggy, like I hadn't slept properly or that feeling when you sleep at the wrong angle. I just felt weird, and I got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up, maybe a nice bath would shake me out of this funky feeling.

I always wanted to have bomb baths when I was a teenager and having the freedom to prepare my own baths after I had indirectly fired Maggie allowed me to satisfy my inner child in one little way.

As I soaked myself in the water, I tried to relax but it was difficult as my mind went through last night's event.

Well, it is safe to say that the DarkMoon Pack now knows that their Luna isn't ordinary and I hated how much they seemingly flipped a switch and began liking me.

But I understood how this worked, and no matter how much I tried to hide from it, the truth remained that wolves respected many things but power came first and everything else came second. Of course, as I walked in with two dragons, one of which was like my soul mate in animal form, just like the wolves they had in them and the other one had tied me to him but was under dragon oath to never hurt me, the pack began to look at me in a different light.

But regardless, I won't stand for them maltreating Omegas just because they were lesser.

When I woke up from the near death sleep I was in, every conversation around me had died down but it was later that I realized how much problems sprung out of this unfortunate event

Flynn was very unhappy with the whole scenario as they had been forced to move the reappearance of the dragons and according to him, there were preparations that needed to be done which in its absence, was going to give us a headache.

One of which was where the dragons were going to live.

In the past, every town had a dragon pit based on the relationship of the ruling house with the royal dragon family. He said he would send word for a book to be brought to him so he could figure out where this town has theirs in the past.

Another problem was that dragons couldn't exactly hunt by themselves out in the open and they couldn't fly to stretch their wings if a pit wasn't found as soon as possible. Without this, they would be restless and grumpy. No one wanted to be near an angry dragon obviously.

But temporarily, the witch was going to stay in DarkMoon until either a pit was found or the revolution began. To my understanding, it wouldn't be much of an issue. Dragon riders were everywhere, a network of spies spread across the world so all that's needed is a few murders and according to Flynn, the world will be restored to order in time to stop the doomsday that was on the horizon.

Sometimes, he sounded like a mad man but it was difficult to doubt him. It was obvious there were things happening that we didn't know anything about, hurdles in our little problems like my missing foster parents and the big question of who are my parents?

Each time a tidbit of information about them comes my way, I try to find out more but it's us shut down. Flynn won't say anything more than calling me a princess and the limbo god, Bez mentioned something in passing as well. If I were a princess, why did I have to grow up in such a terrible place?

Problem for another day I guess as I began to feel pain all over my body. It was sudden and came right out of nowhere

As I mustered the strength to get up from the tub, someone screamed in my head, the shock making me splash water everywhere.

“Luna, please come! They're fighting!” I quickly pulled out some jeans and shirt from the wardrobe without looking at it and ran out of the penthouse.

“Who is and why didn't you call the Alphas?” I asked because what the hell was he thinking; it made better sense for my mates to deal with something of this nature.

“It's the Alphas that are fighting and it's two against one so it's quite brutal. We thought they were just sparring but it's getting really bad. Come to the training ground please” Jayden informed me and I ran as fast as I could, tying my wet hair in a messy bun.

When I got there, they were in human form but a distorted one. Their faces had overgrown hairs and their claws were very long

“Stop!” I screamed as Axel started choking Kane.

Did they forget we were all entwined? I was barely holding on as they ignored my pleas, hitting each other like heavyweight boxing champions.

“Aurora? What is the problem, I can feel your pain” Lyra asked in my head. They had been placed close to the big cooking house where pack meals were prepared and I learnt that even though everyone there was terrified, they kept trying to feed them.

“It's my mates. They are trying to kill us all with the way they are going at each other's throats” I replied, massaging my neck as the pressure shifted to other parts of my body.

“Axel, please stop it. Ares, Kane!” I shouted louder, hoping to get through any of them but it was like they were in some type of trance.

I looked around as everyone watched the scene, some looking very angry as their Alpha was being ganged up against.

Then I saw the witch and she was smiling.

“Hey! Are you responsible for this? Remember you swore not to hurt us!” I demanded as I got closer to her.

“Relax, pookie. I didn't do anything. Well, not right now at least. Your mates are just hashing out their feelings and it's a sight for sore eyes. It's annoying that only you get to enjoy all of that, you dirty girl” she said in a teasing tone.

If she wasn't the one responsible for this, then who? They were supposed to hear me, they are Alpha wolves but it seemed like they were in another world.

“I don't know what to do, Lyra. To everyone, it seems like a show but I fear something else is afoot.”

“Wait, I'll take the pain for a few seconds, go in there and pull them apart. But be careful not to get hit” my dragon intervened and immediately, the pain dissipated. Immediately, I felt relief, I ran up to the boxing ring and screamed at them.

“Guys! You need to stop, you are hurting me too!”

Kane and Axel stopped but Ares was still in the funk and even though I tried to move away from his incoming blow, I wasn't fast enough.

His fist hit my head and I blacked out.
