The Tripartite Mate Bond Chapter 171: CHAPTER HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-ONE

Ares was beyond ecstatic at the news, the joy on his face full and it warmed my heart. He lifted me off the ground in excitement and hugged me tightly. I crossed my legs at his back, enjoying the feeling of his body on mine.

“I can't wait to meet our child, this year has been the best of my life and it's all because of you,” He professed before kissing me.

“I love you too baby,” I whispered to him.

“What about me?!” Axel whined from his seat.

“Shut up!” Ares joked and I laughed at their antics.

We sat down to eat afterwards and I took in the beautiful moment between us. I couldn't believe I was letting go of all of this.

“You can still reverse this, you know?” I hear Lyra’s voice in my mind, startling me. I didn't know I'd opened my mind link in my state of joy. I securely closed it back, not willing to allow her to spoil this moment for me.

“Are you okay, babe?” Axel asked, noticing my reaction.

“Yea, Lyra surprised me, that's all,”

“Okay. How is she doing? I can't imagine how she's coping with her mate so sick,” Ares replied and I knew he was remembering when I was in a coma. Thankfully, Tharros was out of danger now and just needed to rest, thanks to Zelda.

“She's fine. Don't worry, I'll go talk to her later, I want to focus on us right now. Who knows when we're gonna have this opportunity again?”

“You're right, my brother is going to be so busy being King and all,”

“What do you mean? It's the both of us. You think you can run away from the job? You sly fox,” Ares joked, slapping his brother's head jokingly.

“We're gonna have two Kings?” Axel’s voice was small.

“Of course and a queen who is also a goddess. I wish we could switch your position with that of the moon goddess, it'll be so fitting. Not that your current position is bad or anything,”

“I understand you, trust me. But don't worry, you'll do such a great job it won't matter,”

We finished dinner and went to bed, their hands all over my body.

Sex that night was different, it was like they were scared to hurt me and Ares' daddy kink took a hike of no return.

But I ignored it, the love they showed me was amazing too so I didn't complain too much.

The next morning, we were ready to start building the Royal Pack House and Ares was being a prick.

“Mama, I'm sorry but I can't let you do this, okay? You're pregnant!” Ares insisted.

“It doesn't matter! I can still do it,” I whined but he wasn't having it. Axel wasn't helping either.

I was planning to help with my telekinesis power to speed up the building process but they were both being overprotective, scared that if I used my powers, something might happen to the baby.

I get pregnant and they forget the tiny little detail that I'm a goddess. My constant vomiting wasn't helping matters either as it was happening every hour and I'd hardly gotten anything to stay in my stomach longer than a few minutes.

Angry and irritated, I walked back into the pack house in search of my friends.

Elena has been occupied with Beta Chris since we got back and I wanted to force her to take a break. The man wasn't going to disappear or anything.

As expected, I tracked her to his room and I knocked.

I heard shuffling sounds before the door opened.

“Heyyy, someone has refused to take a shower,” I teased as I entered the space.

She blushed a little bit. “Sorry, I've been making sure he's settled,”

“I've told her to rest Luna, but she won't listen. Please drag her to the car wash and hose her if she won't go by herself,”

We laughed before I fixed her a stare, “Are you gonna come willingly or you want me to take Chris's suggestion?”

“Fine, fine, y'all win. Let me put his food in the –”

“Nope, you're coming with me, right now. I've put a few omegas on his trail. He'll mindlink them if he needs anything. You on the other hand, this way,” I pointed at the door and she sighed before kissing her man and leaving.

“Get better soon, big guy. We'll figure out something for you soon, okay?” I assured him and he nodded before I joined Elena.

Unable to hold back, I shared news of the pregnancy with her and she was gushing all the way to her room.

After taking a bath, I decided to take her to the pack Market.

It was a small place where pack members traded things like clothing items and supplies that weren't produced in the pack, mostly traded by barter but one could use money as well.

“I've never been here before,” she said as we walked through the cute shops and a few cafes as well. It was really quaint and beautiful.

“You've been so busy, that's why. Besides, who knows when we'll get a chance like this again,”

“Don't be dramatic. Once Chris is healed and is fixed on the wheelchair he ordered, we'll actually have time to be girls again. You realize we're not even twenty five yet, both of us,”

“Funny enough, my birthday is in a few weeks time and I've nearly died five times of more in the last year,”

“Your fates are crazy. I don't know why they keep throwing these curves at you. I just hope after this, we'll be able to finally have peace. I'm tired of all of the ups and downs,”

“I'm hopeful too. This baby needs stability, especially with the changes happening in our world,”

“Do you think you'll be able to reconcile with your parents?”

Her question was out of context and it puzzled my mind.

“I don't really know. I mean, I'd yearned for parental love all my life but not anymore. I'm quite content with love from my mates and from my friends as well as this pack. If they won't love me for me but the whole being a goddess situation, then they can go back to where they're coming from,

“I doubt they'll be willing to accept the position the new world provides for them either. Scarlet told me they were planning for revenge and all of that,”

“I sincerely hope they follow the new plans. I only saw the dragons in the capital and I'm sure they're the ones here. But there are thousands of others in different pockets around the world. Once they lift that veil over them and they see the new world, they might crave world dominance again,”

“That's probably why you got this new status as a goddess. Damn, I can't believe my best friend is a freaking goddess!” She exclaimed in excitement. The little tea cup she'd picked up nearly fell off her hand but she grabbed it tightly.

“But how does it feel? Do you get to see other gods too? Hecate, Selene?” She sounded like a kid in a candy store, craving for information instead of chocolate sweets.

“You're so goofy. I haven't gotten a chance to meet them yet,” I lied, “I'm still discovering new things about this but I'm still the same me. A few differences here and there but my core is still Aurora,”

“I'm happy about that. Wouldn't wanna lose you to new powers and all of that,”

I smiled at her as we continued shopping.

If only she knew.

When we got back to the main pack arena, Zelda was looking for me.

“We need to talk,” her voice sounding upset.
