The Tripartite Mate Bond Chapter 41: CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

“KANE’S POV”

As we converged for the pack meeting in the big hall, all I could think about was how I would finally have the chance to have my mate all to myself.

From the moment that weird looking man with a dragon mark on his neck showed up at my pack territory, demanding I go help the NightShade Pack from an attack that might lead to her death, I knew they weren't worthy of her.

If they couldn't even keep her safe without me coming to their rescue, what made them believe they were allowed to share her with me? I saved the day and I was not going to allow her to be put in such situations again. They offended somebody and my mate being caught up in the middle of it wasn't going to happen.

My wolf might be fantasizing about weird threesomes and whatever, but I will not take it. The moon goddess might be having fun at my expense but I won't accept it.

I will accept this treaty they have drafted, after all, my mate needs to see that I'm considerate; but then, when I get back home, I'll treat her like the queen that she is and she will realize why these two are not important to her. And what's more? The treaty will prevent them from attacking when I convince her to reject them.

I smiled at the elders who thought this war was ending for their own good

While they rest, I'll build up my army and if they ever try to revenge, they will regret it.

As we sat down, the Alpha twins came out to give their little speeches about peace and all of that crap – I wasn't interested, I just wanted to take my mate and be as far away from this damned place as possible.

I needed to train her as well because very soon, I'll have a dragon alliance as well. The goddess might act like she hates me but she does act in my best interest.

All I have to do is make it obvious to these two that I do not share. I'm simply playing nice for the time being.

My train of thought was cut short by them signaling for me to join them in the blood oath that will prevent me from ever attacking them.

I convinced them that I trusted them, they didn't need to promise me anything.

But the moment they attack me, all bets would be off and I'll definitely show them what a true Alpha looks like.

“Everyone, roar to the goddess in honor of this great treaty! Together we shall be the most powerful Packs in the continent!” Ares commanded and the hall was awash with screams and growls of excited wolves who were tired of losing their loved ones

I kept my pack abreast with every development and I happened to understand the pain everyone on both sides has been going through.

This was definitely a good start to a happy future.

“In this agreement, we are allies. Our army will fight for DarkMoon Pack and theirs will fight for NightShade Pack. No one will dare to stop us.” Axel explained the details to his pack members.

“Yes, and you are welcome to come find your mate in my pack once every year. Just give the notice and we will arrange it” I added, concealing my true feelings and giving them the euphoric feeling they craved.

It was met with wild hoots and excited screams.

“And as for our Luna, you all have her number. She will be in charge of the office of Luna for both packs. So here is her official email, phone number and the time she'll be available. Feel free to reach her for anything.” Axel added, bringing Aurora to the center stage.

I love how she blushes so much at the slightest attention. I took note of the everything that made her smile in the duration of my stay here. I will definitely train her to be a strong woman instead of this timid version her adoptive father turned her into.

“Thank you everyone for accepting me and our strange Mating situation. With your acceptance and help, it'll benefit us all” she said in a quiet tone that our sensitive ears picked without problems.

I can guess how many hours it took their Beta female to get her to say those words.

She was quite shy.

“And to begin our amazing journey into a great future, we shall be having the Luna Ceremony in two hours.” Ares announced and everyone went agog in excitement.

They were dismissed and I went ahead and grabbed her from Axel’s wandering hands.

They will be coming to visit next month. By then, she will definitely be pregnant with my hair and ready to break her bonds with them. I smiled and gave her a mind-blowing kiss.

Someone coughed and I looked at the man they introduced to me as Fang.

Weird name, weird man. But he's important to my plan and I'll need to swallow my indignance for him.

“You don't need to, Alpha Kane. We'll never be able to work together if your mind is so closed to how great this union can be. And yes, I can read your thoughts”

Wait, what? Fuck!

I can't believe I let my guard down like that. I literally lowered my walls for every other species apart from Werewolves because I hadn't expected them to bring someone with mind reading abilities.

“Oh, we forgot to tell you, Fang here can hear even the tiniest whisper in your mind. In fact, he's indebted to us because we rescued him from being killed for his abilities. He's been close to you all afternoon, hearing your wonderful plans for us.” Axel said to me with a stupid smirk, and a look of disappointment colored Aurora's expression.
