The Tripartite Mate Bond Chapter 50: CHAPTER FIFTY

It took me less than ten minutes to round up the rogues that had been posted around the hotel with the aim to capture me.

They were probably expecting me to arrive tied up and drugged but they were unaware of my past. I was smiling at the memory of their face the moment I shifted into my wolf and began killing them. My back up team didn't have to do much afterwards.

Most people didn't know how resistant my body was to poisons and drugs of all kinds. It was a secret my family kept in order to prevent unnecessary questions from the council.

Once I was done, I got into proper clothes and began tidying up the mess we had made.

“Call in the clean up team, immediately!” I told Toria before speaking to my Delta.

“Tie him up and add him to the idiot at the back of the van. Where is Juno?” I asked.

Silence.

Why were they looking at me like that? She was the one who deserved more punishment than any of the idiots who had dared me.

Not only had she disgraced me in front of my pack, she had also been part of a plan to destroy said pack. I should have killed her before even bothering with the rogues but I had planned to bring her to the council for questioning. If she had resisted, well, sometimes death is mercy and Christopher would only hate me for a while.

She was to be brought back dead or alive.

“I think she has escaped, Alpha.”

I will deal with that later. For now, the focus was on finding Aurora and whoever had done us the favor of saving her.

“I will deal with that later. We have a more pressing issue. Search the entire premises. Look for clues to find my mate” I commanded.

I went into the building and everywhere was deserted except the puny receptionist who was terrified from all the growls and fighting. I hadn't held back my wolf, and he had a lot of angst to release.

“Hey! Where is this woman?” I showed her a picture of Aurora on my mobile device” and she began shaking her head in denial, making me growl angrily.

That got her talking fast.

“She was taken by a weird looking man sir. She dropped this” she handed me a pearl.

It was tiny, yet beautiful that one couldn't discard it as unimportant.

“Which way did they go?” I asked, getting irritated with the lack of results this whole thing had given me.

“That way, Sir. I didn't see them properly but they went that way. Three of them” she pointed.

“Three? Show me your camera feeds” I demanded.

“Um, it's not in my power to –” she began and I lost my patience.

I turned the laptop in my direction and began working on it.

In no time, I completed an override on their security and accessed the cameras placed in strategic places just as the rest of the team got to the scene with Ares and Kane in tow.

“Where is she?” Kane demanded and my heart sunk at the disappointing news I was about to deliver.

“Here” I showed them the video and we watched as our mate was dragged forcefully to follow the man that the receptionist accurately described as weird, followed by another man.

They got into a car down the road and zoomed off.

“Fuck!” Ares growled.

The thought that she might have gotten into worse hands had occurred to me since I found out she had been “rescued”, but I had ignored it, hoping for the best but seeing this dampened it.

“Wait, go back” Kane asked and I complied.

“I know him! He was the one that informed me about the attack on your pack. Wait, he dropped his card with me. I just put it in my wallet cause it looked weird and I didn't have time to think about it.” He said.

“Let's see, maybe it's not what it looks like” Ares said and I saw hope in his eyes. This was taking a toll on all of us.

While Kane searched, I noticed our men were waiting for instructions so I gave them my attention.

“All clear, Alpha.” My Delta informed me but then someone ran down the stairs.

“Alpha, I found this!” He said, handing over a paper.

“Let me see.” I opened it and read it out loud;

“Don't be here by three o'clock, Alpha. What does that even mean?” I asked no one in particular.

Kane took it from me and I got the card from Kane while they examined it.

“It's 2:50 PM. We need to evacuate. We can ambush whoever it is.” Ares said

“You're scared?” Kane asked.

“It's dumb to wait for the unknown when we can lie in wait for it. Everyone, clear out. Immediately!” I commanded and we all began leaving but I turned around.

“Hey, you! Come with us” I commanded the receptionist.

She stood like a deer in headlights and I snapped my fingers at her face, forcing her into action.

We were going to buy the hotel later so we can control the story of anyone else in it but the receptionist saw too much.

We all loaded up in the cars and SUVs the pack came with and drove off, circled back and hid at strategic positions with a clear view of the location and binoculars.

“Here, call the man. I really hope he has a good reason for treating her like that” I said to Kane who was at the back seat, watching the other entrance into the hotel.

He took the card and dialed the number. It rang and we all held our breaths but then it kept ringing and no one picked till the call dropped.

Kane dialed the number again.

It was switched off. And before we could react, the vampire we had killed the last time appeared out of thin air and began to open a portal right in front of our eyes.
