The Tripartite Mate Bond Chapter 56: CHAPTER FIFTY-SIX

The drive was quite eventful, to say the least. While Kane drove, I was sandwiched between the twins whose touches were making me antsy.

We engaged in small talk but it was obvious they were undressing me with their eyes with each passing moment.

“How was work today Princess?” Axel asked, his voice low and leading to a flood in my underwear.

“It was great. Cora is so patient. She's been putting me through everything and the new trainer Kane got me makes me so excited. I'll be able to get better at my powers, I promised Flynn I wouldn't disappoint him” I rambled on, giving them every detail that came to mind as I was well past the point of thinking straight.

At the sound of Flynn’s name however, they all growled at me.

“Don't call another man's name while you're wet and dripping for us, Little Mate. Especially that name, we still have a score to settle. He kept you away from us, nearly driving our wolves mad” Kane said from the driver's seat, his tone showing he meant every word.

“I'm sorry” I whimpered, feeling reprimanded.

“Hey Mama, don't feel that way. We have to let you know these things so you don't aggravate our wolves. We'll take it easy on you but when he takes over, he's quite rough in every way” Ares said, his voice too close to my ear.

“Okay. I won't do that again” I replied, leaning into him as he took my hand and kissed it.

“Good girl. Now shut your legs before I lose my mind and fuck you hard right in this car” he growled but instead of being scared, it excited me.

I felt rebellious for a second and I opened my legs, they inhaled deeply all at once and I shut it innocently, smiling inwardly.

Axel came closer to me and began inhaling my scent like a caveman but for some odd reason, I loved it. I even brought him closer so he could relax on me while doing that.

“Fuck, I can't wait for you to be ready for us, Mama. I'm gonna devour you” Ares whispered in my ear.

I can't believe that a month ago, I was disgusted at the idea of having three men cater to me. Right now, I was in heaven and I wasn't going to trade it for anything.

We got to the location too soon even though it was probably over an hour away from the pack but our sweet interaction made me wish for the moment to never end.

Kane turned off the ignition and the moment Axel opened the door, an assault of sounds hit my ears and I screamed at it's intensity. It was like someone had suddenly opened a nightclub right in my eardrums

“My ears! It's too much! It hurts!” I screamed at everyone, my eardrums giving me the signs that they were about to pop.

“What is it? What's happening to her?” Kane exclaimed

“Axel shut that door, I think her ears have become sensitive” Ares said to him and he quickly shut it, giving me reprieve.

“Sorry Princess. We didn't think you'd develop so fast. Hearing is one of the slowest part of a supernatural to develop. You are indeed extraordinary.” Axel praised me, his touch and proximity helping me calm down.

I touched the pearl Kane had given me earlier today and it was quite hot, I guess I had filled it with too much power too fast and it was finding it hard to cook down.

“Cancel the reservation, I have a place we can go without so much noise. It'll take a little while but soon, you'll be able to walk into a market without wanting to kill something” Ares said, giving me his dangerous smile.

“Cover your ear baby, I'm about to come down so Ares can drive” Kane informed me and I hid my head on Axel's chest. His warmth covered me as well so when the two doors opened, I heard several sounds but it wasn't as bad as before.

They quickly switched places, Kane on my left side and Ares on the driver seat as we drove to another location.

When we got to the place, I was entranced by it's beauty. Even though it was a restaurant, it was built to assimilate with nature. There were fake and natural plants, and it seemed the building itself was carved into several trees as it was situated right in the middle of it.

We packed a while away from the entrance and when Axel opened the door for me, I could hear sounds but not in an invasive way.

“This is called Whisper Glade because they maintain a no noise environment so one can eat as well as experience peace.” Ares explained.

“Well I guess it's difficult to control people from talking, I can hear a lot of weird discussions” I laughed.

“What are you talking about?” Axel asked, looking confused.

“Um, you guys don't hear people talking? You've had sensitive ears for a while, you should be able to pick up on it. It's quite loud” I replied, confused with their reaction.

“Aurora, it's 9PM, we are the third customer they are having today and it's because I have a personal relationship with the owner. They usually don't allow more than two customers at a time so even if they are that loud, they can't be as many. So whose voices are you hearing?” Ares asked me and I paused and carefully paid attention to what I was hearing.

Like I had told them, it was weird conversations.

“See, you have to understand. There's a whole crowd of people in there. You know what? Let's go in and find out. I hear a lot of weird discussions that I don't even understand. Someone is talking about their feathers getting wet” I exclaimed, frustrated.

The twins looked at me like I had grown a third head. This date was going to be in my bad book with the way it was going.

“Guys, I think I know what is going on” Kane said, pensively.

We all turned to him.

“Please tell me I'm not crazy” I said, my hands rotating the pearl as I forced myself to try and cakm down.

“Of course you are not crazy, my little mate. You are incredible. Come” he said and took my hand, leading us all to the darker side of the parking lot which was backed by a small forest.

The closer we got, the louder the conversations were, and the weirder it got. John had just escaped a wild chase by a tiger and needed to be congratulated for living for another day. Timmy was telling someone she was in heat but her husband was too busy chasing wild sheep.

“Here, focus on those two rabbits and them alone” he told me. I looked at him like the crazy one. “Trust me, baby. Just try”

I complied. I zeroed my mind on the two, their mannerisms and gestures and how it fit the conversation I thought was coming from other people inside.

“Wait, I think I can hear them … talk” I muttered, shocking even myself.

“Wait, what?!” Axel exclaimed and the rabbits looked at each other and ran off, praying to the gods for them to escape this careless act of coming too close to humans.

“Yes, Axel. Our mate can talk to animals” Kane said, clearing up the growing disbelief in all of us.
