The Tripartite Mate Bond Chapter 183: CHAPTER HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-THREE

I spent the whole day with Elena and our dragons. I was apprehensive after what had happened but it was Scarlet that had the most of my attention.

We'd started out on a rough patch but it smoothened afterward and gradually, she'd warmed up to me.

But now, we were going to be separated from each other and it broke my heart.

“Want to fly for a bit?” She suggested as we saw the sun go down a bit.

“I would have loved that but Lyra is still recovering. I don't want to strain her unnecessarily,”

“You don't think I can carry the both of you?”

Elena and I looked at her in shock.

I understood the last time she'd allowed me on her back was because of the battle but suggesting this on her own even though she was antsy about having people at her back warmed my heart.

I told Lyra about it and she decided to join us.

“Are you sure? You still need to rest,”

“I'm pregnant, not crippled. Calm down,” she joked, and rose out of her pit.

We flew for a while, enjoying the experience that I knew would be impossible to have again without depleting my energy.

“Damn, I almost forgot. We have a villain to catch,” I said to everyone, remembering Miranda who was in a cell.

I sent a mindlink message to the guard I'm in charge of her and instructed him to take her over to the front of the pack house.

“Lyra, please ask Tharros if he's okay carrying Miranda without accidentally throwing her off?”

They all laughed but I knew with how much he loved Lyra, his thirst for revenge would be intense.

I decided to leave the revenge of whoever we were going to meet to him.

“He said he'll try,” Lyra replied, humour Lacing her tone.

When we got a little bit closer to where we were supposed to meet the person, the dragons flew down and lay in the shadows, their wings curled in to prevent them from being noticed.

Then I began to walk with Miranda. She could hear me but I was invisible.

“I hope you know that if this is a trap, you're going to die first?”

She paused and shock was on her face, tears trailing her words.

“I swear, I'll never betray you,” she said, gesticulating with her hands.

“Why are being so dramatic? If someone sees you right now, don't you think it'll rouse suspicions?”

“Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot that,”

“Walk faster, I don't have all night,” I grumbled.

Then my phone rang, disturbing the quiet evening air.

“Shit!” I quickly silenced it, “I'll be right behind you,” I said and teleported away from there but I could still see where she was.

Making myself invisible again, I rose up to watcher before picking the call.

“Hey Mama, where are you?”

“Dealing with the poison problem..I told you about it earlier,”

“Yea? I forgot about that. I was busy eating your wet, delicious pussy,” my clit throbbed with the memories his words evoked.

“Baby, stopp,” I whined, a giggle escaping my lungs, “ I'm gonna deal with this and get back to you okay?”

“Fine but turn on your location. I know you've got this but you have back up, just in case,”

“Does three dragons count?”

“Ohh, that's really smart of you love. Just In case you're ambushed or something,”

“Yep,”

We said our goodbyes and I realized in my love struck moment, I'd lost my informant.

So I flew higher and surveyed the area.

“Really?” Scarlett groaned in my head. If she was human, she'd be rolling her eyes right now.

“I'm sorryyy, Ares called and I got lost in the moment. Just give me a few seconds, I'll find her,”

“And if you don't?” Lyra asked, her tone nicer than her twin’s.

“Eh, I guess we'll just freeze the entire forest and be on our way home,” I replied while looking down in search of her. “Oh, there she is!” I exclaimed and zoomed in on her and the man she was talking to.

“Do you recognize the person?” Scar asked

“Why are you assuming it's someone we know?” Elena echoed my thoughts.

“There has to be a reason why Lyra is the specific target and why Miranda was the pawn,”

“Makes sense,” I replied as I got closer to them.

She was screaming profanities at him.

“Oh come on! Elena, I thought you took care of this guy!” I exclaimed in irritation.

I'd come here with three dragons thinking I was faced with some criminal mastermind.

“Who is it?” Elena asked me as I set down on the ground.

“Flynn,”

“Oh. Um, I didn't really do anything to him,”

“Why? He literally handed me over to Leticia,”

“I know, I was weaving a spell to keep him tied up so your mates could deal with him but with the whole ruckus of you getting kidnapped and then wanting to cut off my head and that of Zelda, he kind of slipped away,” she explained, her tone filled with dread.

“It's okay. Since he refused to disappear, I guess he really wants to be dead by my hands.

“What on earth is wrong with you? So you didn't follow my precise instructions and you didn't do the job and to top it all off, you went and snitched to them like a canary and now you want my help cause you're scared they'll kill you?” Flynn shouted at the girl not minding that they were right in the middle of nowhere.

I guess he was still living in the part of the forest that my foster mother had set camp.

“Lyra please tell Tharros to scout the area. See if this is more than we think it is,”

“It's your fault!” Miranda screamed back at him, “why on earth would you want to kill the future queen?”

“Because she's evil and needs to be stopped before she'll destroy the world,”

I shook my head and revealed myself right as Tharros rose into the air, shocking him on both ends

“Seriously Flynn, we've gotta stop meeting like

this,” I placed my hand on him and teleported him to where the dragons and Elena where.

“Shit,” he muttered under his breath.
