"Why? What reason?"

Arthur grabbed her wrist, his gaze intense.

"What reason do you need?"

Molly smiled faintly. "Between us, it's just a game for grown-ups. You need a young body to satisfy your physical needs, and I need your resources to solve my problems."

She paused, her charming face showing a hint of cunning as she leaned closer to him.

"So, Mr. Davis, you wouldn't be a sore loser, would you?"

She was smiling, but her tone was dripping with sarcasm. "My future never included you."

Her tone was calm, yet her words were blunt and cruel.

He was the president of the Davis Group, always held in high regard. Everyone who met him treated him with respect.

Now, he was being toyed with and insulted by a lover who didn't even want to be with him.

Arthur's gaze darkened further, his voice low and dangerous. "Molly, what kind of future have you planned for yourself?"

Molly's lips curled into a barely-there smile. "Do I have to tell you just because you ask?"

Arthur's eyes were cold. "The financial summit is coming up. You know what I mean."

His words carried a clear threat.

The Davis Group would naturally participate in the summit, and the contract Harper was competing for was also one the Davis Group was eyeing.

Molly's eyes flickered.

She leaned into his arms, her slender fingers caressing his cheek, her voice soft. "Mr. Davis, there's no need for this. I will divulge everything you want to know, provided you are willing to listen."

Arthur looked at Molly.

"Money?" Arthur scoffed. "I can give you all the money you need."

So Molly could finally be herself and carve out her own space.

Molly just laughed. "I can get those things on my own."

"Molly, if you leave me, you won't be able to join any show." Arthur's tone was full of threat.

He would use all his resources to blacklist her, making it impossible for her to survive in the entertainment industry.

Molly laughed somewhat mockingly, "Is Majestic City bereft of anyone else as prominent and influential as Mr. Davis? I think Caden would be a good choice."

"He has a girlfriend."

Molly nodded. "Yes, and his girlfriend is my friend. Even if he won't help me, he won't offend Harper to help you. And if that doesn't work, there's still Frank, Travis, and others. I'm sure someone will be willing to help me."
