After Molly finished her meal, Harper looked her straight in the eyes, his tone heavy and serious.

"Molly, do you remember what you said last night when you were drunk?"

Molly's smile froze for a moment.

Of course she remembered. She had hoped Harper wouldn't recall her state, not wanting her to worry.

Harper said, "Judging by your expression, you do remember."

Molly's voice was a bit hoarse. "It's not a big deal. You don't need to worry about it."

"No, I do care."

Harper's expression grew solemn. "Molly, I've become aware of the situation between you, Arthur, and Xavia. What do you intend to do? Should you desire a divorce, I shall certainly assist you."Molly felt her mouth go dry. She didn't know what to say or even what she could say.

When she first married Arthur, she always thought about divorce. But now, she seemed to have gotten used to Arthur being her partner.

Harper asked again, seeking her opinion.

Her voice was dry. "Harper, I don't want a divorce."

"We're married. He's mine now. Why should I let go?"

Deep down, Molly was proud, obsessive, and possessive. If she hadn't married Arthur, she might have treated their relationship as a game, one she could leave at any time.
