The chef's eyes dimmed.

Richard asked again, "Did the meeting go well?"

Once it's approved and the contract is signed, the progress will pick up quickly, and the funds will be allocated soon."

Richard's face showed relief, "That's great news."

Harper leaned against the doorframe, her eyes fixed on Caden.

After speaking, Caden looked even more tired. Finally, he said, "I'm beat. I need to sleep for a while."

Stuart pushed him to the bedroom.

Harper didn't respond, waiting for him to continue.
