"We're in a relationship now, so I expect you to follow some rules. I don't care about your past, but from now on, you can't involve with other women." Harper said calmly.

"Are you jealous?" he asked, unable to hide his happiness.

Was she jealous of other women? Did that mean she cared about him?

"Caden, this isn't about jealousy. It's about the terms of our agreement."

Her tone still indifferent, almost emotionless.

He raised his hand and made an OK gesture.

"No problem, I'll stick to the agreement. But..."

He paused, unusually serious.

"I've never had another girlfriend before, and I don't have any other lovers now, nor will I in the future."

"I think, in my lifetime, I'll only have one girlfriend, and she's sitting right next to me. It took a lot of effort to win her over—Harper."

Whether Harper believed him or not, she was indeed his only girlfriend.

Alex's face turned cold. "Caden, Harper is still an employee of the Lavien Group."

Caden shrugged, looking indifferent. "But Harper is on vacation. Right now, she's representing my girlfriend. Is that not allowed?"

He had a point, leaving Alex with no argument.

Alex turned his head, his deep eyes looking at Harper, but in the end, he said nothing.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony began.

The host gave the opening speech, followed by Alex and Caden cutting the ribbon together.

Soon, the ceremony ended.

Alex was about to head back to the office when he heard Caden say softly, "Harper, how about we stay here for a vacation? The hot springs are great, and you can relax."

Harper thought for a moment and nodded slightly.

Since she had nothing pressing to do back home, she might as well enjoy a half-day of leisure here.

Alex paused, then turned back and walked straight to the resort lobby.

From a distance, Emily watched as the three of them entered the resort lobby one after another.

Her face darkened, a hint of resentment flashing in her eyes.

Today, she would make sure Caden saw Harper's true colors.

Ideally, Caden would dump her, leaving her abandoned by both Alex and Caden.

Moon Lake Resort stood amidst lush greenery, with symmetrical architecture, wooden construction, a central porch, and decorative eaves.

Caden led Harper into a suite.

The room featured wooden paneling, a fireplace, spacious rooms, high ceilings, and handcrafted wooden furniture.

"The developer called. Some important clients have arrived, and I need to entertain them. Harper, wait for me to come back," he said, winking at her.

Harper nodded lightly.

Caden nodded back, then left, closing the door behind him.

The most distinctive feature of Moon Lake Resort was its hot springs, fed by natural underground springs.

Harper decided to take a dip in the hot springs.

She stretched, then changed into a pure red silk nightgown and headed to the hot spring pool alone.

As she left, a shadow emerged from the corner.

Emily watched her go, a sinister smile on her lips.

Just then, a staff member approached.

Emily quickly walked over, smiling. "I'm Mr. Lavien's secretary. I left my key card in the room. Could you help me open the door?"

The staff member hesitated.

These suites were for VIPs, and unauthorized access was not allowed.

Emily showed her ID, clearly indicating she was Emily Orsini, the chief secretary to the CEO of the Lavien Group.

"I came with Mr. Lavien," she added.

The staff member, seeing the ID, used the key card to open the door for her.

Emily entered the room, seeing Harper's clothes laid out on the bed and her phone on the table.

She knew Harper's phone had a password, and she couldn't hack it. But she had another plan.

She grabbed the phone, quickly removed the SIM card, and inserted it into her own phone.
