Harper had been digging into the news about Arthur and Xavia, attempting to determine who had been continuously promoting articles about Arthur and Xavia.

It turned out that it was Xavia's studio pushing the news to the fans. She'd hired a PR firm to hype up the topic. But those high school and college photos were legit.

So, it was all Xavia's doing. Why would she do this? Evidently, she orchestrated this with the deliberate intention of inflicting emotional distress upon Molly.

Xavia's motives were shady and her intentions downright nasty.

"I need to talk to Xavia. I gotta find out what she's trying to pull," Harper said, fuming. She wasn't about to let anyone mess with her family and friends.

She was determined to stand up for Molly.

Caden squeezed her hand. "Alright, I'm coming with you."

No way was he letting Harper go alone.

When they got there, Xavia was in the middle of filming. Her manager sent her a message that Harper and Caden wanted to see her.

Harper and Caden? Xavia felt a twinge of fear.

She knew Harper and Molly were tight, but surely Harper wouldn't confront her over some news stories. Besides, Arthur was Caden's best friend. Wouldn't Harper care about that?

Thinking this, Xavia felt a bit relieved.

No matter what happened, Arthur would surely back her up.

Xavia put on a smile. "Alright, I'll go see them."

Since it was Harper and Caden, the crew couldn't afford to offend them, so the director arranged for the most spacious lounge on set.

When Xavia arrived and saw Harper, she kept her gentle smile. "I didn't know I had any dealings with Ms. Orsini."

"You certainly don't deserve to," Harper replied coldly.

"Don't play dumb with me. You know exactly why I'm here."

Harper had no intention of being polite, her words were icy.

Xavia realized Harper was here to make things difficult for her.

"Ms. Orsini and Mr. Elikin really are a family. Your words cut like knives," Xavia said lightly, pretending not to care. "I actually know you're here for Molly."

"But Molly and Arthur's relationship is their private matter. Ms. Orsini, you have no right to interfere."

Harper chuckled. "Don't pretend to be innocent. I know exactly who boosted those news stories."

Harper's eyes were cold. "You know what I do for a living. It was easy for me to find out."

"Xavia, you dumped Arthur for Edwin, and now you're playing the first love card with Arthur again. You're truly despicable."

Her tone was harsh, her eyes fixed on Xavia. "Do your fans know about your dirty tricks? I wonder what they'd think of you if they did. You're really vicious."

Xavia bit her lip. "What gives you the right to say that? You and Molly aren't even related by blood. Why do you care? What's in it for you?"

"Arthur has harbored affections for me all along. Molly is just a stand-in. You can't stop matters of the heart. If Molly can't make Arthur love her, that's her problem!"

She was still defiant.

Harper laughed. "You're quite the actress, never reflecting on yourself."

"How about we make a bet? How long do you think Arthur's feelings for you will last? I bet if you actually marry Edwin, Arthur will give up on you."

"However, I believe someone as disingenuous as yourself wouldn't genuinely marry Edwin unless you truly harbored authentic feelings for him."

Harper's eyes bore into her, with Caden standing by.

Cornered, Xavia gritted her teeth. "Of course I love Edwin. I wouldn't have gone to such lengths for him otherwise."

"Really? Then you must be willing to marry him. You know you're his fiancée, right?"

"Good." Harper didn't give her time to think. "In that case, I'll contact Gerald and keep some evidence of his wrongdoings. As long as you marry Edwin soon, we can use money to settle everything."

Xavia fell silent.

She only wanted to marry the true heir of the Davis Group.

Edwin wasn't the heir anymore, and his reputation was ruined. She couldn't risk everything on Edwin, which was why she approached Arthur.

Her engagement to Edwin was just a temporary measure. Marrying Edwin now would ruin her.

"Don't want to marry him?"

Harper knew her thoughts and pressed on, mocking her. "You don't want your fans to know what you've done, do you? If everything comes out, they'll see you for who you really are."

Xavia's eyes filled with fear. What else did Harper know?

Suddenly, Harper yanked her hair hard.

Xavia's eyes reddened with pain, but Harper whispered in her ear, "I know everything you've done, including your dirty dealings with directors and producers. I know it all."

"If you don't want to be ruined, marry Edwin quickly and stay away from Arthur and Molly."

With that, she let go of Xavia, her gaze fierce.

Xavia was silent for a moment, then lowered her head. "I understand. Give me some time."

Harper's eyes remained cold. "You better mean it."

Then, Harper and Caden left.

Harper had laid out the consequences clearly. Xavia should know what to choose.

In the car, Harper's cold demeanor vanished.

She nestled into Caden's arms, softly asking, "Was I too harsh just now?"

Caden thought for a moment. "Not harsh, very cute."

To him, everything Harper did was cute.

"Do you really think so?" Harper couldn't help but smile, feeling better.

"Of course." Caden leaned in and kissed her ear.

After Harper and Caden left, Xavia was furious. She trashed the lounge, but her anger didn't subside.

She believed Harper was capable of anything.

But no one had ever threatened her like this before!

Who did Harper think she was? Did she think Xavia was easy to bully?

If Harper dared to confront her, she would strike first.

Molly was just her blood bank!

Xavia's eyes were bloodshot as she called her manager. "Arrange everything now. I want Molly's reputation destroyed."

If Harper wanted to bring her down, she would make sure Molly fell first!
