Frank gave Quinn a long, hard look. "You planned this all along, didn't you?"

Quinn's smile didn't waver. "Of course. I always think ahead."

He had mentioned before that Harper's departure was a loss for the Lavien Group, and he intended to make up for that loss in other ways. If Harper became their adversary, he would find someone to counter her.

The Lavien Group might be at a disadvantage temporarily, but it couldn't stay that way forever.

Frank was speechless.

He had a feeling that Majestic City was in for some major upheaval.

Harper had no idea what Quinn and Frank had discussed. She introduced Jacob, Peyton, and her secretary from HoloSphere Technologies, Teddy Nguyen, to Travis.

When Harper made the introductions, Travis was stunned.

He had his suspicions but never dared to think it was true.

Now, with Harper bringing them to him, he couldn't help but ask, "Who's the real CEO behind HoloSphere Technologies?"

Jacob swirled his wine glass slowly, a gentle smile crossing his face as he looked steadily at Harper.

Peyton, who had been looking at his phone, raised an eyebrow at the question, then pointed his phone at Harper, clearly indicating his answer.

Teddy was even more direct, nodding towards Harper.

The unified response from HoloSphere Technologies' three key figures—Jacob, Peyton, and Teddy—spoke volumes.

Harper was the real CEO behind HoloSphere Technologies.

"I suspected it, but I never thought it was actually true." Travis was genuinely shocked.

No wonder HoloSphere Technologies collaborated with FusionX Company; Harper was the one pulling the strings.

If Harper was the CEO of HoloSphere Technologies, it made even more sense for her to take over FusionX Company.

She really took over FusionX Company for Caden.

Harper's expression remained calm. "I told you earlier, because of my position, they agreed to let me bail you out. So this identity is also a form of protection."

Travis took a deep breath, then slowly turned his gaze to Caden.

"Now I think you and Mr. Elikin aren't such a good match any longer."

Caden's face changed instantly at his words. What was going on?

Before Caden could speak, Harper smiled and said, "I think we make a great match. Don't you think so?"

If she said they were a good match, then they were. Travis gave a wry smile and nodded. "Yes, you two are a great match."

At least since she had been with Caden, she seemed more vibrant, happier every day. He remembered when she was with Alex, she was always full of energy but seemed somewhat repressed.

After dinner at Sapphire Dining Room, Harper still had some unfinished business and planned to return to the office to wrap things up before heading home.

Caden didn't want her to overwork herself, so he decided to go back to the office with her.

It was late, and the night was still long.

Back at the office, Harper resumed her work at the computer while Caden helped organize her documents.

By the time they finished, it was almost dawn.

Harper stretched. "Finally, I can get some sleep."

She walked over to the couch and collapsed onto it.

Within seconds, she was fast asleep.

Caden looked at her sleeping face, feeling a pang of sadness.

She had been so exhausted lately.

He had witnessed firsthand how she had struggled through each step.

She had endless meetings, accounts to check, and contracts to review.

As some shareholders occasionally caused trouble, she would carefully consider everyone's intentions, then work on gaining their support one by one.

She wasn't just dealing with FusionX Company matters; there were also issues with the research institute and HoloSphere Technologies. She was truly worn out.

Seeing all she had done, Caden felt a deep sense of guilt.

She shouldn't have had to bear all this, but he knew Harper did it all for him. FusionX Company was supposed to be his responsibility.

His eyes fixed on Harper and he thought he should pull himself together as soon as possible and return to FusionX Company. He couldn't let her continue to bear this burden alone.

He wanted her to have an easier life.

Looking at her tired face, his eyes were full of guilt and regret. He took off his jacket and draped it over her, gently cradling her head and resting it on his shoulder.

The sun was already up, but Harper was still sound asleep.

Her phone buzzed with a message from FusionX Company, reminding her of an upcoming meeting.

Caden wanted to let her sleep, but if she missed the meeting, she might blame him.

He sighed, raised his hand, and gently stroked her cheek.

She woke up immediately, blinking sleepily at him.

Caden kissed her lightly on the eyes. "It's time for the meeting. If you're too tired, I'll go. You should rest."

Harper rubbed her temples, trying to wake up. "Are you really planning to go with me?"

"It was supposed to be my responsibility, yet I've now burdened you to the point of exhaustion.""

He glanced helplessly at his legs. "My legs are injured, not my brain."

Managing FusionX Company was his duty.

These days, he had been focusing on his recovery, neglecting Harper's well-being.

"Alright, let's go together." Harper pushed Caden's wheelchair out of the office.

Manuel, who had just woken up and was about to drink a cup of black coffee, saw them and asked, "Are you two planning to attend today's meeting together?"

Harper frowned slightly.  "Is that a problem?"

Manuel gave a cryptic smile. "No problem, but I can envision the reaction from those people. It should be quite a show."

What did he mean by that?

Harper's mind was still a bit foggy.

She thought for a moment. Today's meeting was to discuss the future direction of FusionX Company, so all the board members and executives would be there. Marvin had been kicked out of the board, so he wouldn't be present.

Unable to figure it out, Harper pushed Caden straight into the conference room.

The large room was already filled with people, all concerned about the future of FusionX Company.

But when they saw the two of them enter together, their expressions changed.

Whispers began to spread. "Why Harper brings Caden here? Is she planning to step down and let Caden take over?"

It was clear that the current board members didn't want Caden to take over FusionX Company.

Those people once tried to force Harper out of FusionX Company, but now didn't want Caden back. They were truly fickle.

Manuel chuckled and whispered in Harper's ear, "See? No one cares who you are. They only care about the benefits you bring."

Harper frowned slightly but said nothing.

"Ms. Orsini, are you planning to step down for Mr. Elikin?" someone asked coldly.
