Chloe was getting frustrated and snapped, "Noah, do you have anything important to say? If not, I'm outta here."

She really didn't want to waste her time on his nonsense.

Noah finally spoke with solemnity. "I have been absent these past couple of days and have just returned. I heard you accompanied Alex to FusionX Company. Do you have any information regarding Harper's whereabouts?"

Chloe almost laughed out of sheer irritation.

"Noah, I'm your sister. You see me and don't even ask how I'm doing, but you're asking about Harper?"

Noah said, "Didn't I already ask about you? I suggested you change your fiancé, didn't I?"

Chloe felt a headache coming on.

"Cease your equivocation. In your eyes, I simply do not hold the same importance as she does."

She really couldn't understand what was so great about Harper. It was one thing for others to like her, but even her own brother?

Noah had clearly wanted to acquire a company under FusionX, but he actually gave up because of Harper.

Noah responded nonchalantly, "What else? Should I keep pining for Amelia?"

Hearing him mention Amelia, Chloe's face turned pale with anger.

"Noah, stop grossing me out."

Chloe believed that Noah would have been better off choosing Amelia rather than Harper.

Noah waved his hand dismissively, "Look, you don't want me to be with Amelia, so I'll keep going after Harper. For my sake, let's drop the competition between you and Harper. She probably got held up by something."

"In your dreams! I definitely want to compete with her."

"And I absolutely do not agree with Harper becoming my sister-in-law."

Chloe was genuinely furious as she said this.

Noah was speechless, "You're giving me too much credit. Do you really think Harper would like me?"

If Harper even glanced his way, it would be his luck.

Right now, Harper didn't care about anyone; her heart was entirely with Caden.

The siblings couldn't agree and ended up parting on bad terms.

Meanwhile, Caden had arrived at Alvina's island.

Orion had everything arranged, and as soon as they arrived, bodyguards came to greet them.

Caden's eyes were cold as he looked at the island.

"I'll take you to the lab. Ms. Taylor and Ms. Orsini should both be there."

Caden nodded and followed Orion to the lab without stopping.

"Ms. Taylor had Ms. Orsini enter Mr. Robinson's mental world, not just to stimulate him to wake up, but also to allow Ms. Orsini to have close contact with Mr. Robinson," Orion explained as they walked.

"Ms. Taylor knows she hasn't been a good mother, but she wants Harper to know she has a father who loves her."

"Once inside the mental world, according to the program, it takes at least three months to come out. So we need to speed up the process, or Harper won't wake up in time."

Orion explained the situation to him.

"Speed it up. I want Harper to wake up as soon as possible," Caden said.

Orion had no reason to object and ordered the researchers to accelerate the process.

While waiting, he had local delicacies prepared.

"You should try the seafood here; it's pretty good," Orion said, trying to make conversation.

Caden's face remained impassive, but Orion pressed on, "Mind telling me about Harper?"

He smiled warmly.

"After all, I'm technically Harper's brother, so I'd like to know more about her."

Caden's eyes turned icy, "I don't think Harper would want more siblings, especially those raised by her mother."

He knew Harper well.

From a tender age, she was raised by Brad's side, deprived of love and care, enduring endless humiliation.

However, Orion had grown up with Alvina, which must have been a sore spot for her.

Orion paused, "I get it. If I were in her shoes, I'd feel the same."

"But I mean no harm. I've explained this to her, and she accepted my reasons. Maybe you should wait until she wakes up and hear her thoughts."

"If she still can't accept us, we won't appear in front of her again."

His understanding softened Caden's expression.

Orion then asked, "Aren't you worried about FusionX Company with you being here?"

Caden replied, "Harper is the most important. Besides, Manuel, Jacob, and Peyton are keeping an eye on the company. No one will dare make a move."

Orion nodded in agreement.

Even with the accelerated process, they still had to wait about ten days for Harper to wake up.

During this time, Orion arranged for Alvina's medical team to treat Caden.

Though he might not be able to walk soon, his legs had started to regain feeling, which was a good sign.

Throughout this period, Caden cultivated a deeper understanding of Orion, coming to the realization that he possessed a genuinely virtuous character.

He thought, maybe having a brother like Orion to protect Harper wasn't a bad thing.

A few days later, Harper was still asleep, but Alvina woke up first.

She felt a bit dizzy.

Orion and the researchers came in to check on her.

Alvina said, "I'm fine, just a bit groggy."

She always felt a bit disoriented after exiting the mental realm.

Orion didn't say much, confirming she was physically fine before leaving her to rest.

The next day, Alvina felt better.

She glanced over and saw Harper still lying there, not yet awake.

At that moment, there was a noise at the door.

Caden entered in his wheelchair.

Seeing Alvina, he paused.

Harper looked a lot like Harper, but their auras were different.

Alvina was calm, lacking Harper's unintentional arrogance, and had a more seasoned presence.

Alvina glanced at him indifferently, her eyes devoid of much emotion.

She scrutinized Caden from head to toe, as if evaluating him.

"I don't understand why Harper chose you," she said bluntly.

"I know what she's been through and the people she's met."

"Frankly, Jacob, Peyton, and even the youthful Mason appear to be more suitable than you. At the very minimum, their histories are unblemished."

"Jacob has maintained an acquaintance with Harper since their formative years, devoid of intricate familial entanglements. Peyton exhibits both autonomy and forthrightness in character. Mason, being the sole heir to the Cruz lineage, would undoubtedly provide Harper with a contented existence."

"And you?" She coldly questioned him.
