Molly smiled at him, her eyes calm and steady, waiting for his response.

Arthur didn't look at her, just said indifferently, "I'll get someone to go with you."

"Having your people follow me everywhere is inappropriate. Let the lawyer go with me instead."

She tilted her head, looking innocent, "Two women working together is more convenient."

The assistant remained silent, and Arthur frowned deeply but ultimately said nothing.

Meanwhile, Xavia's commotion had reached Harper's ears.

When she emerged from the lab, someone had already reported the entire incident to her.

Seeing the news, Harper was shocked. Xavia was really something. She must have felt threatened last time, so she did this to fight back, showing she wasn't to be messed with.

Xavia knew Harper cared about Molly, so she did this on purpose. Xavia really had guts!

Harper sneered several times.

The news was already out there, and trying to suppress it now would only raise suspicions of Molly being the mastermind behind the scenes.

It seemed she needed to find that fan who caused the trouble.

But... Was he really a fan?

No fan would shout their idol's name while causing harm unless they were truly disturbed.

Harper thought this, and Molly did too.

Molly had many things to figure out, so as soon as she felt better, she contacted Kathie Bell.

Kathie was a well-known lawyer in Majestic City, serving as legal counsel for several companies. When Molly first signed with the Davis Entertainment Company, it was Kathie who had drafted the contract.

After joining the company, Kathie treated her well, always helping with various issues.

So when Molly reached out, Kathie agreed without hesitation.

When they met, Kathie was accompanied by two assistants and got into Molly's car.

Once inside, Kathie scrutinized her and asked, "Are you really sick?"

Compared to a few days ago, Molly indeed looked frail, her face pale and sickly.

Molly was busy reading comments on her phone and replied nonchalantly, "I've been relentlessly occupied with filming, which presumably led to my exhaustion and collapse."

She glanced at Kathie and smiled, "You changed your hairstyle. It looks good."

Kathie responded softly.

Molly moved closer to her, "I want you to come with me to see that fan. I need your help with something."

Kathie nodded, "Tell me."

Molly whispered in her ear.

Kathie was momentarily stunned, her face showing disbelief.

At this point, they learned about the fan's basic situation.

The fan, named Max Diaz, had been in custody. Arthur had arranged for him to be brought back to the interrogation room.

Max had received news that his wife and children were safe and had been given a substantial compensation, so he felt reassured. He insisted he was Molly's fan and would do anything for her, refusing to say anything else.

He thought that by sticking to this story, he would only spend a few years in prison and then reunite with his family. But today, he was suddenly called out again and brought back for questioning.

Max, handcuffed, felt anxious but tried to act calm, snarling, "I've already confessed, what more do you want?"

The officers ignored him, their faces cold.

Max cursed under his breath and was led back to the interrogation room.

Sitting in the chair, anger surged within him.

"What precisely do you desire? I merely committed an error while under the influence of alcohol; it's not as if I caused any fatalities. Why must you insist on subjecting me to repeated interrogations?"

Finally, an officer outside said, "Someone wants to see you."Max felt even more annoyed, his handcuffs clinking as he moved.

After a moment, two women entered. The one in front had shoulder-length hair, wore a branded dress with a short jacket, and though not strikingly beautiful, her eyes were sharp.

The woman behind her had waist-length hair, wore a black suit jacket, and her face was mostly hidden.

Max laughed, slapping the table with his hands. "What is this? Bringing two women to interrogate me?"

Kathie sat down calmly across from him, her voice steady, "Aren't you my fan? How come you don't recognize me?"

Max was stunned, unable to hide his shock, "You're Molly Reyes?"

He had taken benefits from others, pretending to be Molly's fan, but he didn't actually know her.

Now, the real Molly was here, and he didn't recognize her.

Kathie didn't blink, staring at him as if trying to see through him, "I've been in the hospital these past few days and didn't know my fan caused such a big issue, so I came to see you. Aren't you happy?"

Max was momentarily confused, then started shaking his handcuffs and shouting, "Molly, I did this for you, because Xavia kept bullying you. I wanted to avenge you. Molly, help me get out of here."

Kathie, annoyed by his shouting, turned on the spotlight, aiming it directly at Max.

The spotlight was meant to pressure suspects, making it hard for them to avoid psychological stress.

Max blinked rapidly. His shouting stopped, and he wiped his tears.

Kathie then said slowly, "Yes, I'm here to help you."

Max was stunned, as if he misheard.

How could it be? She wanted to get him out and allow him to continue causing trouble? He couldn't believe it.

Was this Molly really a fool?

But the dumber Molly was, the better for him.

Kathie looked at his face and continued, "If you can prove you're truly my fan, I'll pull some strings to reduce your sentence."

Max's expression was even more shocked, mixed with excitement. "Of course I'm your fan."

Kathie crossed her hands, sat up straight, and began questioning, "When did you start liking me?"

Max's lips moved, but he didn't speak for a while. He frowned, thinking hard, then said, "Two years ago, I saw your billboard on the street. I thought you were beautiful, and that's when I started liking you."

Kathie's face remained unchanged, "Did I attend Maplewood University or Silverlake College?"
