Jace's POV

"Why are you here?" Landon asked me as I walked into the cell he was being held in.

"I wanted to talk to you about everything that has happened."

"There is nothing to talk about. Derek said that I could leave, and that is what I plan to do,"

"Do you really believe Derek harassed you?" I asked

"Yes, I do.," He replied

"Even after you saw the video?"

" Derek could have tampered with the footage to make Vivian look guilty." 

"Come on, man, that doesn't even make sense," I said

"What do you want, Jace," 

"Something is going on that I think you should know before Derek lets you leave the territory. I don't want you doing something stupid," I said

"What is it," He asked, and I took a deep breath before speaking

"Vivian helped Cheryl and Chloe kidnap Rose. They ended up turning on Vivian, and now she is in the Pack Jail," I said

"What," Landon growled

"She is being punished along with Cheryl and Chloe. I don't know what Derek is going to do, but I am sure he is not going to let her leave this time," 

"Why aren't you out there helping her? She is your sister," Landon said

"I know that, but she is not right in the head, Landon. I don't think she cares about you being her mate the way she should," I said

"So you are just going to sit there and let them hurt her?" he asked, and I didn't know what to say

I loved my sister, but I knew she was wrong in the head. I couldn't let her get away with everything she had done.

"Just leave," He said. I got up from my seat and walked to the door. 

"Don't let her ruin you, Landon," I said and walked out the door.

Landon's POV

"Just leave," I told Jace. I couldn't believe he would let his own sister be punished for something she didn't do. Derek was the one that assaulted her.

One of the guards, Mason walked in; we were pretty cool.

"Hey, Landon, you ready to go?" Mason asked

"Yeah," I said, and we walked out of the room.

There were two other guards outside the cell door. I knew them all and helped train them. 

"Hey man, can you take these handcuffs off? They are pretty tight," I asked Mason. 

"Sure," He said, but the other guard stopped him.

"Do you think that's a good idea?" 

"Sure it is, you know Landon, he is cool," Mason said and took off my handcuffs. 

"Thanks, man," I smirked, knowing that now was my chance to get away from them and find my mate. 

I am coming to save you, Vivian

Derek's POV

"I have some Pack Business to take care of. Kate said that she would keep you company. If you are too tired, I can tell her that you need rest," I said to Rose as she ate her dinner.

"It would be nice to spend time with Kate. I have been sleeping all day," Rose replied

"Okay, there are guards that will be outside the room for your protection," 

Kate showed up about twenty minutes later, and I left Rose and my room. I opened the door to my father's office; Max and Jason were already there. They were talking about something that seemed important because of their facial expressions. 

"Hey, son," My father said as I walked into the room.

"Hey, are you guys ready to take care of everything?" I asked as I sat down.

"Yes, I have already told the Pack Members that they needed to be at the training field in an hour," My father said

"Good, I am ready to be done with this. Did you get any information out of Cindy," I asked Jason, and he became tense.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Cindy told me that she drugged me and made me believe that she was my mate," Jason said

"What?" I asked surprised

"Yeah, she said that Jacob and Vivian threatened her family. Cheryl wanted me to join her side. They thought that if I believed we were mates, I would join them when the battle came.

"I am sorry, man. That's fucked up. Did she tell you anything else?" I asked

"No," he said and looked at Max. I could tell he wasn't telling me everything but decided to let it go. He was probably just upset about being poisoned and lied to.

We walked to the fighting field about an hour later. All the Pack members were there waiting for us. I wanted everyone there so they knew that I would never let anyone hurt my mate again. I had almost lost Rose and my unborn children. I was going to do everything in my power to keep her safe from now on.

"Everyone is here to witness the punishment of two witches and a She-wolf. They came here trying to hurt my son's mate and your future, Luna. Guards bring them out," My father said

We waited for the guards to bring them out, but they never came.

"Where are they," I thought, and then we went from sunny weather to a thunderstorm.
