Ebony's POV

Once we drove up to the Red Moon Packhouse, everyone began to walk up to the front door. Before we could knock on the front door, the Twin Alphas, Ethan and Nathan opened the door. 

"Alpha Keith, Luna Ebony, we are so happy you were able to make it. Please come inside," One of the twins said. It was hard to tell the two apart because of their similarities.

"Thanks for having us, Alpha Ethan and Alpha Nathan," Keith replied.

"We will have Stella. Our head housekeeper will take you to your rooms. Then, after you are settled, we will have Stella escort the two of you to my office," One of the Twin Alphas said, looking at Keith and me.

"Thanks, Alpha Ethan. We will see you soon," Keith said, and we followed Stella to our rooms. 

"This is your room, Alpha and Luna," Stella said.

"Thanks, Stella," I replied as we walked into the room. It had a bed, tv, walk-in closet, and bathroom.

"I will come back in about twenty minutes to escort you to Alpha Nathan's office," Stella said.

"That sounds great, Stella," I replied, and she left to show everyone else to their rooms.

"This is a cozy room. Not as nice as ours, but it will do," Keith said.

"Yeah, it's nice."

"You seem to be nervous about being here. I could feel your mind racing the whole ride here. Do you want to talk about anything?" Keith asked.

"No. I am fine. Just overthinking like usual," I replied. Keith walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me, pulling my body close to his. "You have nothing to worry about, My Love. Everyone is going to love you," Keith said

"Thanks," I replied. I really hoped he was right.

"I know I have already said this, but thanks for letting us visit your territory. I know it isn't easy to let anyone come to your pack and look around," Keith said. We were in Alpha Nathan's office, across from Alpha Nathan and Ethan.

"There's no need to think us, Keith. We have been friends even before becoming Alphas." Ethan said.

"Yeah, Man. You are like family to us. And like we told you at your first meeting when you told us about the two of you taking the throne. We support both of you one hundred percent. It is about time some changes were made around here. No offense but your father and his Mate were not the best Rulers," Nathan added.

None taken. I feel the same way. But I think it was more ALice than my dad," I said, wanting to take up for my father. The Twin Alphas looked at me silently for a while before speaking.

"There is something that we need to tell you. This morning a Royal Council Member named Thomas called us. He said he was contacting every Alpha to see how they felt about you becoming Queen. We told Nathan, and I told him that we were happy you were going to become Queen," Ethan said.

"Why would they be calling every Alpha asking them about Ebony?" Keith asked.

"After we told him that we were happy you were becoming Queen. He began to try to get us to change our minds. He started talking about how he and some of the other Royal Council Members felt they had made a mistake in asking you to become Queen. He said not only because your mother is an Omega but also because he discovered you lied to the Queen," Nathan added.

"What? I didn't lie on the Queen. Everything I said about her was true," I replied. I couldn't believe the Royal Council would be telling other Alphas that I lied on the Queen or that they felt they made a mistake in wanting me to become Queen. 

"It seems like they are on Queen ALice's side now. They were really trying to make us turn on you."

"Why would they do that?" Keith asked. I thought about it for a moment and then realized came to me on why they turned on me. 

"It is because I told them my plan to make changes in the werewolf community," I said

"They would turn on you because you want to make changes?" Alpha Nathan asked.

"You should have seen how upset they heard me tell everyone I was going to make changes to make the community better for lower rank werewolves. They basically told me that I couldn't do that and when I told them I wasn't going to change my mind, they were heated."

"I can't believe they would stand so low and say you are lying on Alice. I think Abby was right, and we need to get rid of the Royal Council," Keith said 

"Wait a minute. Who is Abby, and what do you mean by getting rid of the Royal Council? Nathan asked, confused. Keith and I looked at each other for a moment.

"I trust them, but I won't say anything unless you tell me I can," Keith mind-linked me.

"I trust them too. I think we should let them know what Abby told us," I linked back, then ended the link.

"Hello," Ethan said, and we looked at him. "If you don't mind, my brother and I would like to know what is going on here. Are you planning on killing the Royal Council?"

"No. We are not planning on killing them. We are planning on getting rid of their position," I replied

"How do you plan on doing that? They have been around for centuries protecting the Royal family," Ethan said 

"No, they don't. All they do is make laws and want to be in control. They want us to hide who we are so no one knows we don't really need them," I said.

"What do you mean hid who you really are?" Nathan asked.

"I need to show you something, but you must promise not to tell anyone," I said.

"We promise we won't tell anyone," Nathan replied.

"Are you sure, Ebony?" Keith asked

"Yes, we both trust them to know the truth," I said, and Keith nodded.

"Okay, but first, we need to go somewhere private outside. Where no one will come and see us," Keith said.

"I know just the place."

"Are you sure no one will come here?" I asked

"Yes, this part of the woods is forbidden. No one will come here. What do you have to show us?"

"My wolf," I said, and then I began to shift. 

"Oh my Goddess," Nathan said

"She is a White Wolf."
