Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 79

Rose's POV

It has been a week since Derek and I fought, and everything has been going well. My mom, Aunt Lisa, Kate, and I have been preparing everything for the Mating and Alpha/ Luna Ceremonies. Derek has been getting everything ready for us to move into our house, which I am excited about. There have been no more issues with any females since Derek threatened to kick them out of the pack, though some females still glare at me from time to time. As long as they know not to try anything with Derek or start shit with me, I'm not worried about it.

Kate, Kayla, and I are shopping for new clothes at the mall. I have been spending most of my time with Derek since we made up, so Kate decided to kidnap me after school so that we could spend some time together. She said Derek was not allowed to come with us. He didn't like that, but he didn't argue. He did, however, make three-pack warriors go with us. He said it was for my protection since, in four days, I would be the Luna of the Pack, and he needed to protect me from all his enemies. I think he is going overboard, but I didn't complain because I knew he wouldn't let me go if I didn't let them go with us.

"Are you two done in here? I am hungry," I cried.

"Damn girl, you are always hungry," Kate said, and Kaya hit her on her shoulder.

"I am pregnant and eating for three. I am supposed to be hungry,"

You two get some food. I am going to pay for these items," Kayla said, and Kate and I started to go to the food court.

"Are you excited for this weekend?" Kate asked as we were walking

"Yes, but I am nervous too," I said

"About the sex part?" She asked, and I nodded

"I am not that comfortable with people watching me have sex," I said

"As I said, they are not people; they are wolves. It is normal for all of us. Just don't overthink it, okay?" Kate said 

"You are right. I am overthinking," 

"I know, but I understand. Just know that no one is going to think anything wrong. Everyone that stays is mostly mated, and you know that mated wolves feel the emotions of the new Alpha and Luna, so most will be busy as well. I will be chilling in my room after the ceremony. I love you and all, but I can't watch my best friend/ sister have sex with my brother," Kate said

"I agree with you. It would be weird," I said, knowing that I would never be able to watch my brothers have sex with anyone. That is gross just thinking about it.

While we were walking, I saw Vivian and Chloe walking together. They were walking to the mall garage. 

"Kate, look," I said 

Kate turned and looked to where I was pointing. I could tell she was shocked.

"Why is Vivian over there with Chloe, and where are the guards or Landon? She isn't supposed to be by herself," Kate asked, and I shrugged my shoulders.

They started to walk toward the steps that took you down a level into the garage.

"Let's follow them," I said

"What? Chloe is a witch, and she and Vivian kidnapped you before," Kate said worriedly.

"I am a witch too and can mask our scent. They won't even know we are there," I said

"You just started training not that long ago," She said

"I am a quick learner. My mom and grandma Joyce said so," I said, and she rolled her eyes

"What about the guards?" Kate asked 

"Hey, we are about to go to the bathroom. You can wait here for us; we won't be long," I said

"We should go with you," One of them said

"No, you see, Kate is having woman troubles," I said, and he made a sour face.

"Maybe we should let them go alone,"

"You know what, just wait for us at the food court. We will be there shortly," I said, and the guards left quickly.

"That was too easy. Derek needs to hire better guards," Kate said

"Yeah, it was; let's go," I said

"I guess. If we die, I will kill you," She said, causing me to roll my eyes at her.

"Whatever, come on. I know they are up to something," I said 

I put a shield over kate and me to mask our scent. We walked slowly down the stairs so they wouldn't see or hear us.

"I thought girls were following you everywhere you go," Chloe said

"I talked Landon into letting me go alone. I told him that I felt smothered and needed some air. He is covering for me and doesn't know I am meeting with you," Vivian said

"I am no longer working with you or your father. What do you want with me," Chloe asked

"I think that we should work together. I am done with my father's ways, and we could help each other out," Vivian replied

"You still want that Alpha," Chloe asked

"No. I want to destroy him and his mate. He tried to kick me out of the pack yesterday, but Rose's dumb ass took up for me," Vivian said, and I couldn't help but get angry. 

"What do you want with me?" Chloe asked

"I will befriend her like I was supposed to before we kidnapped her. She is gullible and will believe I am sorry. I will become her friend, and then we will kill her. Killing her will kill Derek, and Jace will be able to take over the pack. Landon will become Beta, and I will be Beta female giving me more power in the pack. I will blame it all on my father, and Jace will banish him." Vivian said

"What about me?" Chloe asked

"Killing Rose will tear her mom apart. Isn't that what you want revenge on her mother? So I kill Rose, and then you kill her mother," Vivian said, and Chloe smiled.

"That sounds like a great idea," Chloe said

"I have to go before Landon gets suspicious. I will call you later to discuss this more," Vivian said, and they both left.

Kate and I walked out of the parking garage.

"I can't believe this," I said

"I can. I told you you should have let Derek banish that bitch," Kate said

"There you two are," Kayla said, walking to us with a burger in her hand. The three guards were behind her.

"We need to go home, now," I said, and Kate nodded 

"Is everything alright?" Kayla asked worriedly

"We will tell you in the car," Kate said, and we headed to the car.

I needed to tell Derek what was going on. I tried to be nice and fair, but now that was over. Nobody was going to hurt my mate or me.
