Ebony's POV

"Why, because she is a white wolf?" Jacob asked, causing Keith and I to look at each other. I looked over at Alissa and Alice, who didn't seem surprised at the information. It was evident that they knew as well.

"How do you know that?" Keith asked

"Because she is just like me, and I am also a white wolf,"  

"You are?" I asked

"Yes, just like my father before me and his mother before him. We are rare and very powerful. It is important for you to be able to control your powers. I am surprised you haven't used them before, but if you hardly shift, then your wolf isn't as strong as she should be. It is important for you to learn how to use your gifts. I can help you with that if you like," Jacob said 

"That would be nice, but I don't think I have any gifts," I said. 

"Trust me, you do, but we can discuss this later. I can tell you are overwhelmed at everything I have told you," Jacob said

"Thank you," I replied

"Why doesn't everyone know that you are a white wolf?" Keith asked

"Because it would make me a target. That's why I don't shift for the public to see. Only trusted Pack members know about this. Does your mother know about you?" Jacob asked 

"No, besides Keith, only my old Alpha Michael from Blood Moon and his family know. We were worried it would make me a target if anyone else found out," I said 

"That's good," Jacob said, and we all finished eating. It was crazy knowing that I was supposed to be Queen. I didn't think I could do it because I have never led anything in my life. I guess I am going to be Luna, and that seemed hard. I had a lot to think about 

"I would like to hand it out with you while you are here, maybe tomorrow," Alissa asked. 

"Sure, that sounds nice," I said 

"I want to help you learn your abilities soon. How about Saturday morning? That will give you time to settle in," Jacob asked.

"Sure," I said

"I would like to be there with her while you train," Keith said 

"Of course,' Jacob said, but I could tell he didn't want Keith to come for some reason by his facial expression. 

"I will see you in the morning," Jacob said 

"Okay, see you tomorrow," I said, and Keith and I left his room.

"What are you thinking about Love?" Keith asked while we lay in bed. My face was on his chest, and his arms were wrapped around me. I couldn't sleep because I could only think about what Jacob had told me.

"I am just thinking about everything I learned at dinner. Do you think that I really have powers?" I asked

"Yes, I do. You are a white wolf, Ebony," Keith said 

"Then why haven't I been able to use them?" I asked

"Because you don't shift a lot. Your wolf isn't as strong as others because you don't let her out. I believe that once you do, then your powers will come," Keith said 

"I guess," I said 

"You are also thinking about being Queen, aren't you?" Keith asked 

"I don't think Jacob is right about that. There is no way that I was meant to rule over all the werewolves. I am not strong enough," I said 

"That is nonsense, Love. You are going to make an excellent Queen," Keith said, kissing the top of my head.

"I don't know, Keith. You and I both know that I am not confident, brave, or strong. I mean, think of where I come from. I was not raised to be Queen," I said 

"Just because you weren't raised in a castle doesn't mean you wouldn't be a good Queen. You are all those things you just don't realize it yet. You are also caring and forgiving, which are great personality traits for a luna and Queen," Keith said 

"You really think so?" I asked 

"I know so. You forgave me after all the bad things I have done to you. That took a lot of forgiveness, and you have no idea how grateful I am. You will not be alone in anything you do. I will always be by your side," Keith said, making me feel a lot better. I knew I could do anything as long as he was by my side.

"I don't know if I want to be Queen," I said honestly.

"Whatever you choose, I am with you," Keith said 

"I love you," I said, looking up at Keith. "I don't know what I would do without you," I said 

"I love you too, Love. My father and I have been talking about me taking his place as Alpha soon. So if you are ready to rule by my side as Luna," Keith said, and I stayed quiet. 

"I was also thinking about having the Marking and Mating Ceremony. So if you are ready to be fully Mated to me," Keith said, and I looked at him.

"You think that we are ready for that?" I asked

"I know that I am ready to make you completely mine. We can worry about Jacob later. Jacob has a lot of years left in him to Rule. But I would love to make you my Luna and be fully Mated with you as soon as possible," Keith said 

I didn't know what to say. I was only sixteen and still had two more years of high school to complete. Yes, there were other fully Mated werewolves our age but was that the best decision for me? 

"Can you give me some time to think about it?" I asked

"Of course. We won't do anything until you are ready," Keith said, kissing the top of my head.

"Thank you," I said 

"We should get some sleep. I am sure we are going to have a long day tomorrow," Keith said 

"Okay," I said, and we fell asleep in each other arms.
