Alice's POV

"You need to eat your food Alissa and then get ready. Some of the Royal Council will be here soon. They want you to make a video alone for the Werewolf Community, telling them why you are the rightful Heir to the Throne. I have already written everything you need to say, so all you have to do is say it word for word," I said. 

It has been over a week since Jacob and I got back together. We moved into a house in the human community to stay off the radar. I was excited when some of the Royal Council Members told me they wanted to help me make Alissa Queen. Ebony wanted to change the Werewolf laws, and some of the Royal Council Members were unhappy about that. So they happily changed sides which is great because they promised to help me get out of the charges. 

Even though I had Some of the Royal Council Members on my side, I knew I didn't have enough of the Werewolf community. I was thrilled when some of the Royal Pack Members came to me. They are the ones that found the house we were staying in. Most of them wanted Ebony to become Queen and were happy about the changes she planned to make.

Most of the Werewolf Community were Lower-Rank Wolves that felt they hadn't been treated fairly. They felt Higher-Rank Wolves had better opportunities than they did. What they said was true, and I was going to make sure everything stayed the way it was. Everyone couldn't live a life of luxury. If I let a lower-rank wolf's child have the same rights as my own. That would take away from her, and I was not going to let that happen. 

"I don't understand why I have to make this dumb video. It isn't like I am going to beat Ebony. Everyone loves her," Alissa said

"That is why I want you to make this video. So we can change their minds," I said. Not that any of this mattered. Once I killed Ebony, Alissa would automatically be Queen, and there would be nothing anyone could do about it.

"This is a waste of time. Dad, please tell her," Alissa said, looking at Jacob. He didn't even look her way. I knew he was deep in thought. I knew he was still upset about losing his oldest daughter, but he would soon get over it. What I didn't like was that he always kept his wall up, hiding his emotions from me.

"Dad," Alissa screamed.

"Huh, I am sorry. Did you say something, sweetheart?" Jacob asked.

"Yes, I said please talk to mom. She still believes there is a chance for me to become Queen," Alissa said

"You are going to become Queen. You were meant to be Queen. So quit bitching and go get ready," I growled. Alissa looked at Jacob, and I could see he looked at her with little emotion.

"Listen to your mother," Jacob said, causing a frown to come on Alissa's face.

"Fine," She said and stomped up to her room.

"Thank you, Jacob," I said, placing my hand on his. 

"I am only trying to do what's right," He said and removed his hand from mine. "I am going to get ready," Jacob said and walked away.

"Queen Alice. There is someone here to see you," One of my guards said

"Let them in," I replied

"Hello, Queen Alice. I have news for you about Princess Ebony and her Mate," One of the spies we still have at Silvermoon's Pack said

"What is it?" I asked

" It turns out they have found out that you will be coming there next week to kill her," The spy said

"What do you mean they know we are coming? How could they possibly know that?" I growled

"I honestly have no idea. They have been training along with other Packs to defeat you when you show up. She showed everyone her wolf, and did you know she is a White Wolf?"

"Really," I said, acting shocked.

"Yes, and she is very strong. I saw her fight three of the best warriors at once and win."

Fuck, I wasn't prepared for her knowing we were coming. I knew I had to come up with another plan, and then one came to mind. "Then we need to change our plans. Instead of going there next week, we will go in two days," I replied

"And what about her White Wolf? Who are you going to have to defeat her?"

"I know just the wolf," I said, and I knew I needed to convince Jacob to kill his daughter.

Alissa's POV

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My mom was planning on going to Silvermoon and killing Ebony. How many times was she going to try to kill her? Did she hate Ebony so much that she couldn't let Ebony live in peace? Thinking about all of this started making me feel guilty. I knew what I did to Ebony was wrong and wished I didn't become so jealous that I let my mother talk me into helping her kidnap Ebony. I saw how my mom whipped her with that whip and felt terrible. When she did that, I knew my mom was crazier and would do anything to anyone to get her way. I knew she didn't deserve that, and I deserved to get punished. 

One thing I knew was that I wasn't going to sit around anymore and let my mother get away with everything she had done. I knew I needed to stop her from causing any more pain for anyone else. So I quickly packed a bag and went out my window. I didn't know what Ebony would do once I made it to Silvermoon, but I knew I had to tell her my mom what I had just heard.

I was done being my mother's puppet. It was time for me to make my own choices.
