Ebony's POV

"I can't believe that your father is King Jacob. That means you are a Princess," Kate said while we walked to lunch. 

"I know, it is crazy. Who would have thought that my father would be the king? He invited Keith and me to his castle this weekend," I said. We were on the last week of school until Winter Break, which is a two-week vacation from school. 

"What did you say?" Kate asked

"I told him that I would think about it," I said

"Why," 

"Because I am not sure I want to go," I said, and Kate looked at me. She knew me better than everyone. She knew that I was worried about something.

"What's going on, Ebony?" she asked, and I sighed.

"What if he isn't as good as he seems? We have all heard the story of the ruthless king Jacob. What if he is worse to me than my mom was?" I asked

"Then I will kick his ass," I heard Keith say. I turned around to see him standing behind me with Raven and Mark. He sat next to me, while Raven sat by Kate, and Mark sat on the other side of Keith.

"Hey," I said

'Hey, you know you don't have to worry about anything? I will never let anyone hurt you," Keith said 

"I know," I replied

"So, are you going to go?" Kate asked, and I thought about what I wanted. I did want a chance to know King Jacob. I wanted to have a father. I never had a good relationship with my mom, and it would be nice to have one with him. Plus, he had a daughter that was my half-sister.

"Yeah, I guess we are going," I said

Saturday Morning

Ebony's POV

"You nervous?" Keith asked as we walked out of his private jet. It was Saturday, and we were on our way to the castle to visit King Jacob or my father. It was still weird knowing that I had a father.

"Princess Ebony, Alpha Keith," A tall masculine man around thirty said as he walked up to us. I was caught off guard when he called me Princess. It felt weird that he was calling me that.

"Yes, that is us," Keith said 

"King Jacob sent me to pick the two of you up and bring you to the castle. My name is Jeff," Jeff said

"Thank you, Jeff," Keith said, and we followed Jeff to an Escalade Limo. There were rows of cars in the front and back of the lima. Jeff opened the door for us, I stepped inside, and Keith stepped in afterward. 

It was a ten-minute ride to the castle. Once we got there, Jeff opened the door for us once we got there, and I could see Jacob standing at the front door waiting for us with a genuine smile.

"I am happy that the two of you could make it," Jacob said as we walked up to him and entered the castle. I had never seen anything so beautiful and huge in my life. There were guards all over the place. 

"Thank you for having us," Keith said and shook his hand.

"Let me show you to your floor," 

We walked to an elevator, and Jacob pressed floor ten. Once we made it there, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Plus, it was huge, way bigger than Keith and my room in Silver Moon. Jacob showed us around the whole floor. There were five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a family room, a dining room, and a kitchen. The bedrooms were all upstairs, and there were steps to lead us to them. The kitchen was fully stocked with food. 

"This is too much," I said 

"Nonsense, this was always supposed to be your floor. I will give the two of you some time to freshen up. I am sure the ride here was long and tiresome," Jacob said and left the floor.

 "This is the nicest room I have ever been in," Keith said 

"You and me both. Doesn't it seem like too much?" I asked

"No, Ebony. You are his daughter, which makes you a Princess. This is how you were supposed to be living your whole life. Let's go shower and then meet him downstairs," Keith said, and we went to shower. After we showered, there was a knock at the door.

"I will get it. You go ahead and finish getting ready," Keith said, quickly putting on his clothes. 

"Hello, Keith. I came up to see Ebony," I could hear Alissa say

"Hi, Alissa. She is still getting dressed," Keith said While I was walking to meet them at the front door. When she heard me coming, she looked at me with a smile.

"Hello, Ebony. I just wanted to come over and say welcome to the castle. I am so happy that you are here," Alissa said 

"Thanks, and I am happy to be here. Would you like to come inside?" I asked

"Actually, I was coming to tell you that dinner is ready. Dad wanted me to ask if you would like to eat with us on his floor?" Alissa asked, and I looked at Keith, who was already looking at me, and he began to nod

"Sure, we would love to join you for dinner," Keith answered for me.

"Okay, I will show you the way to his floor. All we have to do is take the elevators to the twelfth floor. I didn't know why I was so nervous about having dinner with them, but for some reason, I felt something was going to happen.
