Ebony's POV

"But you said you saw the future. How do you know everyone will turn on me but not know if Jacob is one of them?" I asked

"I am sorry, Luna Ebony, But I have only seen a glimpse of two different futures. I don't know every detail of what happens. I wish I could tell you if he can or can't be trusted, but I am a hundred percent certain," Abby said.

I hated not knowing who I could trust. Especially not knowing if Jacob could be trusted. He was my father, but Keith was right. We hadn't known each other for long. I honestly couldn't see him turning on Alissa. 

"I think for now we need to keep your father out of the, My Love. I know you want to trust him, but we can't. At least not until we know if he is one that is against you," Keith said

"I know," I replied

"Everything is going to be okay, My Love."

"So what you are saying is that Abby saw the two different futures. One where Ebony and you rule, and the other where Alissa rules. In the future, where you rule, everything is great, and we are all doing good, but in the future, where Alissa is Queen, the werewolf community is destroyed," Mark said. We were sitting with Mark, Raven, and Keith's parents. It had been two hours since Keith and I talked to Abby, and she told us about the two different futures that could happen. 

"Yes, that is correct," Keith said 

"And in the future where Abby is, Queen Ebony is killed by one of Queen Alice's followers," Raven added.

"Yes, somehow Alice convinces everyone that Alissa would be a better Queen than me. Abby said that it was because they didn't trust me because I kept my wolf away from them," I replied.

"So what are you going to do?" Raven asked

"Abby believes that I should show everyone my wolf. Let them know that I am a white wolf and that I have special abilities," I said

"Do you think that is a good idea? The Royal Council told you that if anyone found out about your wolf, they would be killed," Edward said

"Not only that, but what if someone tries to hurt you because of your wolf? They might try to use you for evil or kill you because you are special," Mark added, causing Keith to growl.

"No one is going to hurt my Mate. I would never let that happen," Keith said 

"I am not trying to make you mad, man. I am just thinking of everything," Mark said

"I know, man. I just don't like thinking of anyone hurting Ebony. I know we need to figure out who we can trust before telling anyone. That is why we came to all of you first. We trust you guys most," Keith said.

"You know your mother and I will support any decision the two of you make," Edward said.

"Yeah, we will always be there for the two of you," Nancy added.

"Thanks, mom and dad. I knew I could count on the two of you," Keith said 

"Do you know what you want to do?" Edward asked

"I think we need to show the Pack my wolf," I said 

"Ebony, I don't know if that is a good idea. We shouldn't show  everyone because everyone might not be trustworthy," Keith said 

"Well, we need to show the members you feel are trustworthy," I said 

"It isn't that simple, Ebony. What if I am wrong?" Keith asked. I could see he was worried about someone hurting me. He didn't want to make the wrong mistake and tell someone that might want to harm me. 

"Keith, I trust you and know that you would never let anyone hurt me," I said as I placed his hand on mine. 

Queen Alice

"The Princess is locked in her room back at the Silvermoon Pack," one of my spies said over the phone. I had a few of my followers still working for Jacob. He didn't even know they were on my side. 

"I need you to get her out now and back to me," I replied

"I am sorry, My Queen, but the King won't let anyone in there with her. He has Alpha Keith's warriors guarding her."

"Then get one of them to let you in her room."

"They won't let any of us inside. The King doesn't trust us and is thinking of sending us away. He has already placed three of us in a cell because he found out they were working for you."

I can't believe Jacob would do this to Alissa and me. We are supposed to be his family, not that little bitch, Ebony. I have put up with a lot. I even accepted him as my Mate after finding out he got another she-wolf pregnant, and now he is turning his back on Alissa and me.

"You need to figure out a way to get my daughter out of there soon. You don't know what will happen to you if you fail," I growled. There was silence on the other line for a moment, and then I heard him take a deep breath.

"Yes, my Queen. I will get Princess Alissa out of there and back to you."

"You better. Now hurry up and bring me my daughter," I said and ended the call. I was done playing games. It was time for Alissa to take her rightful place as Queen.
