Derek's POV

"Hey, mom," I said as I walked into the Pack House

"I am surprised to see you here. It seems like you never visit me anymore," my mom said sarcastically.

"I have been taking care of Rose, mom. And you know there has been a lot going on with Hanson and Chloe vanishing out of nowhere," I said

I didn't tell Rose about Chloe leaving the Psyc Ward or about me believing that Hanson had something to do with it. I knew he was up to something, but I didn't want to worry her more than she needed to. Sally said I needed to keep her stress-free for her and the babies as much as possible.

"I am surprised you are letting her go to school still," My mom said, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"What am I supposed to do? force her to stay home?" I asked

"I guess not, but I am happy this is her last day going into the school. She is still going to be homeschooled, right?" my mom asked

"Yes, and I am happy too. Finally, I won't have to stress anymore about her getting hurt or something," I said

"Alpha, Derek, something has happened," one of the Guards I had watching Rose mind-linked me

"What's going on?' I asked

"Luna Rose is missing. She went into the bathroom, and now she was gone. Sara is unconscious and hasn't woken up yet," 

"What, I am on my way; I linked back and ended the link

"Mom Rose is missing. I have to go," I said

"I will get you father, Lil, and Max. We will meet you at the school," I heard my mom say while I ran to my car.

"Have you found anything?" I asked as I walked into the girl's restroom

"No, and Sara still hasn't woken,"

"Take her to the Pack hospital," I said 

"Yes, Alpha," one of the warriors said and left with Sara

"Alpha, Derek, this was left for you," one of my trackers said, and I took the paper that was in his hand

"Alpha Derek,

I thought you would have learned by now never to leave your mate alone. I guess your stupidity is a blessing for me. Now Rose is mine.

Hanson" I couldn't help the growl that left my lips.

"Don't stop until you find something, and you all will be punished for not protecting my mate," I said and walked out of the restroom with the note in hand.

"Derek, did you find anything?" Jason asked as he walked up to me. Lilly and Joyce were beside him.

"No, just this note Hanson left behind," I said, showing him the note.

"Let me see," Joyce said, and I handed it to her.

"I will try to cast a tracking spell on this note. I will also do the same spell with your blood Derek to track her," Joyce said

"Alpha Derek, Jace has been captured trying to come back into Pack Territory," A warrior ming-linked

"Take him to a cell now," I growled through the Link

"Yes, Alpha," 

"What's up?" Jason asked 

"Jace is back. I don't think that's a coincidence," I said, and we all headed back to the Pack House.

"I need to talk to Derek, Now," Jace growled.

I walked into the cell and was shocked at what I saw. Jace was shirtless, and his pants were torn. He had cuts and bruises all over his body. But I didn't care about that at the moment. All I could think about was my mate being taken from me, so I punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. I kept hitting him over and over again as I hovered over him.

"Derek, stop; he might be able to tell us where Rose is," Jason said and got me off of him. 

The guards helped Jace stand and to his seat. When he turned his back, I saw whip marks all over. 

"Do you see that," Jason linked

"Yes, they must have injected him with wolfbane because his bruises haven't healed," I replied

Jason and I sat across from Jace. 

"Where is Rose?" I asked

"I don't know, but I know where Hanson is staying. I haven't seen Rose," Jace said

"She was just kidnapped, and you show up here suddenly. Do you expect me to believe that is a coincidence?' I asked

"I have been in a room where Hanson has been having one of his men Beat me and Inject me with wolfbane. I only got out because one of the Coven Members decided to let me go. I don't even know why she did it," Jace said, and I looked at Jason.

"What do you think?" I asked through the link

"I don't know," Jason replied

"Look, I can show you where Hanson is," Jace said

"You betrayed me by helping your mom escape. Why would I trust you," I asked

"I have been your best friend forever. I had stood by your side even when you were against my dad and Vivian. I couldn't let my mom die. She is the only family I have left besides Lacy," Jace said

"You left, Lacy. You don't know how depressed she is right now," I growled

"I had to protect Lacy. If I had told her I was freeing my mom, she would have wanted to come with me. I couldn't make her a traitor too," Jace said, and I knew he was being sincere.

"You will take me to where Hanson is, and then you will be punished for helping your mom escape," I said

Rose's POV

"What do you mean we won't kill her? You told me I would get my revenge for what she did to my mate and daughter," I heard a feminine voice say as I woke up.

My head was hurting, and I felt a cramp in my stomach. I immediately thought about my babies. I placed my hand on my stomach, and thankfully I could feel them kicking.

"Aaliyah," I said

She didn't answer at first, but then I heard her speak lightly in my head.

"Don't worry, little human, our Pups are fine, but we need to figure out a way out of here," Aaliyan said

"How will we do that when I can't shift or use my magic?" I asked

"We will have to use magic to get out, but we need to use it when the time is right. That way, we don't overdo it," Aaliyah said

The door opened, and the man, Hanson, came inside.

"Let me go," I said

"I'm afraid I can't do that, sweetheart," He said 

"Derek will find me," I said

"That dumb ass so-called Alpha won't be able to find you. You are mine now," he said 

"I am not yours," I replied

"You will be my wife, Rose. My Queen," he said, making me want to vomit

"You are a fifty-year-old old man. I would never marry you. That is gross," I said

"I'm afraid you don't have a choice, Rose, and once we are married, you and I will combine our powers and be the most powerful beings in all the Realms, but first we have to get rid of that mutts mark on your neck,"
