Keith's POV

"Hello, Alpha Keith and King Jacob, please come one. I have been waiting for you," Abby said as she opened the door.

"You have?" I asked

"Yes, now come and have a seat. We need to hurry up," Abby said. I looked at Jacob, and he was already looking at me. "We might as well do what she says," Jacob said, and we sat on Abby's couch. 

"I take it you already know why we have come to see you," Jacob asked.

"Yes, I do. The Queen kidnapped Luna Ebony, and you need me to help you locate her. IT took you long enough to get here," Abby said, shocking me.

"Did you hear all of that from the Pack?" I asked

"No. I knew you were going to ask for my help when you were only three years old. You know that is when I moved here. I was seventeen and running away from my evil husband. YOu walked into your dad's office while I asked him if I could stay on this Territory for a few days. I wasn't planning on staying until I had a vision showing me that the future King and Queen would need my help," Abby said.

"You knew we would be here fifteen years earlier?" Jacob asked

"Yes," She replied.

"You expect me to believe that?" Jacob said

"Look, Your Highness, we don't have time for this. If we don't get to Luna Ebony before everyone sees her white wolf, we will have more problems to deal with," Abby said 

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I will answer all of your questions after we get to The Luna. Now, let me see your hand,

 Abby said, and I held my hand out to her.

"Ow," I said as she pricked my finger. 

"You will be okay, Alpha Keith," she said as she put my blood on something that looked like a compass while saying a few words in a different language. "This will show us where the Luna is. Let's go before she shifts in front of all the Queens followers," Abby said, and we followed her out the door.

"How much farther until we get to her?" I asked. I was beginning to lose patience. I hadn't seen my Mate in a whole day. My wolf was ready to take control and kill anyone in his path until he found our Mate. 

"We will be there soon. Please try to keep control of your wolf. The last thing Luna Ebony needs right now is for you to lose control. Trust me when I say she will need you once we find her," Abby said

"What do you mean? Did Alice hurt her?" I asked, and Abby stayed silent. She had a look on her face that told me that she had. I closed my eyes to calm myself before I lost it. I was going to kill Alice. 

"Just know she will need you,"

"One of my guards mind-linked me and said Aissa is looking for me," Jacob said. 

"What did you tell them?" I asked. Jacob and I knew Alissa had helped Alice kidnap Ebony. We had been waiting for her to show up at the Packhouse, but she had yet to come back. I was sure she would have an excuse for why she had been away. 

"I told them to take her to her room and not to let her leave until we get back," Jacob said. I could see the pain on his face knowing that his youngest daughter helped hurt his oldest.

"We are here," Abby said. I looked up to see a house in the middle of the woods. We were in Rogue Territory, and plenty of abandoned houses were out there. 

Suddenly we heard a scream coming from inside the house, causing Jacob and I to run inside.

Ebony's POV

I had been trying to shift into my wolf for over twenty minutes, but it wasn't working. I was sure it was because of the wolfsbane that was in my system. 

"I still can't do it," I said

"Can you try to get out of those chains? Maybe the wolfsbane on them is stopping you from shifting, "Leia asked. 

"I will try," I said and started trying to break out of the chains. I still felt weak, but not as weak as I was before. I could feel myself getting stronger. I looked at the door when I heard footsteps and Alice speaking to someone. The door opened, and I couldn't help the gasp that came out of my mouth when I saw who was with her.

"Don't look so surprised. You knew Rachel didn't like you. I will leave the two of you alone," Alice said, placing the whip in Rachel's hand. 

"You need to get out of those chains now," Leia said 

"I know. I am trying," I said as I moved my arms, trying to break the chains.

"I don't know why you are trying to break out of those. From what the Queen told me, they are laced with wolfbane. You might as well give up," Rachel said

"Stay away from me," I said as she began to walk toward me.

"I don't know what Keith sees in you. You are nothing but a weak, poor slut, just like your mother. You don't deserve Keith as your Mate. I am doing him a favor by helping the Queen get rid of you. Once you are gone, he will take me as his Luna, and we will be happy together," Rachel said, pissing me off. I don't know what happened, but suddenly, I felt a lot of energy inside of me, and the next thing I knew, I broke the chains off of my wrists. I could feel myself shifting into my all white wolf.

'What the fuck," I heard Rachel say before she shifted into her brown wolf. She growled at me, and I growled back at her. 

"Don't worry, My Human. Just let me take over and kill this bitch," Leia said, and I didn't fight her when she took over my body. Leia waited for Rachel to pounce at us, and when she did, Leia bit into her neck until I heard a snap. Rachel shifted back into her human, and I could see she was dead.  

All of a sudden, I heard someone scream. I looked up to see 

Alissa was standing in the doorway, staring at me in fear. Leia growled at her in a warning. 

"Alissa, what are you doing here? I told the guards to keep you in your room," I heard Jacob say, then he looked at me. "Ebony, you need to shift back before someone sees you," Jacob said. Then suddenly, I saw Keith walk through the door and come over to me. He looked at Rachel's lifeless body and then back at me. 

"It's okay, My Love. You had no other choice. Your father is right. You need to shift back before someone sees you," Keith said 

"Go ahead and shift back, My Human. Everything will be alright now," Leia said, and I shifted back into my human form. 

"Keith," I said, and then darkness consumed me.
