Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 90

Derek's POV

"Thank you for hanging with me tonight," I told Jace

"No problem. What are best friends for? Besides, Lacy is hanging out with her sister today. Are you nervous about tomorrow?" He asked as he sipped on his drink

We decided to hang out at his house since Lacy went to her sister's and Rose was at the club. I wanted to check up on her but decided it would be best to let her spend this time with her friends. Her brothers were with her, and I had three guards, so I knew she was safe. Besides, after this weekend, she would be mine forever.

"No, I'm not nervous and can't wait to be fully mated. Are you and Lacy ready to become Beta and Beta female?" I asked

"We have been ready. Been waiting for you to be ready and find your mate," Jace said

"How are you doing," I asked. His mother decided to leave with his father after we banished him. Jace tried to convince her to stay, but she couldn't live without him.

Lacy told me that he has been sad since, which is understandable. She didn't want to go out with her sister today, but I told her I would keep Jace company and talk to him.

I'm fine, man. Just worried about my mom. I hope everything is alright," Jace said

"Your mom will always be welcome here if she ever decides to come back," I said

"I will tell her that whenever she contacts me. I haven't heard from her since she left yesterday," He said

"Don't worry. I'm sure she is alright," I said 

"Derek, we have a problem," One of the warriors I assigned to guard, Rose Mind-linked.

"What's wrong?" I mind-linked back

"Rose went into the bathroom and is not in there anymore," He said

"What? You are supposed to be keeping an eye on her. I told you not to let her go anywhere alone. Where are Jason, Mark, and Keith?" I growled

"Jason went back to the packhouse, and Mark and Keith were dancing. I went with her to the restroom and checked it, Nobody was there, but now she was gone. It is like she vanished in thin air," 

"I am on my way," I said and ended the link

"What's wrong?" Jace asked

"Rose is missing. I have to go to the club," I said

"I will come with you," He said, and we left for the club

When we arrived, everyone looked worried. 

"Have you found anything?" I asked

"No, there is nothing. I don't even know how they could have gotten away from us," 

"Where is Rose? You were supposed to watch her," Jason growled as he walked into the club.

"I don't know. She went to the bathroom, and now she is nowhere in sight," Mark said

"It looks like you weren't paying any attention to her. You let Kate and Kayla drink," Jason said

"Yeah, they just had a few, man," Keith said

"Did Rose drink any alcohol?" I asked

"No, man, she didn't risk the baby even though it wouldn't affect her because she's a werewolf. She sat there missing you the whole time," Keith said

"We need to find her," I said and mind-linked some of the warriors to come down to the club and see if they could find anything.   

It has been three hours, and we have no leads on who took Rose. I am so worried about her and my unborn babies. Finally, my phone beeps, letting me know someone has messaged me. I took my phone out of my pocket and froze in my spot.

"If you want your precious Flower back, then meet me by the border of the Thunder Moon Territory and come alone, or your Flower dies," The message said. There was a picture of Rose sitting unconscious in the back of a car.

"Jace, I just received a text from an unknown number telling me to meet them at the Thunder Moons Border. But, they said to come alone, or they will kill Rose," I mind-linked Jace.

"What do you want to do?" Jace mind-linked back

"I am going to go alone. When I leave, I want you to tell Mark, Jason, and Keith what is happening. I want you guys to stay close to Thunder Moons Border but not too close so that Nobody will see you," I said

"Okay, I will tell them in about twenty minutes," He said

"Tell them in about ten minutes. I am going to shift into my wolf so that it won't take me that long," I said

I left the club and went to the woods. I took off my clothes and shifted into my wolf. He was an all-black wolf and was huger than most because of my Alpha blood. As soon as I was done shifting, I started running toward Thunder Moon. After about fifteen minutes, I was at the border of Thunder Moon.

I looked around and didn't see anyone, then I saw black smoke, and two females appeared in front of me. I was shocked to see who they were.

"Where is Rose,"  I growled

"You showed up fast. Who would have thought that the playboy, Derek, would be worried about a girl,"

"You can be mad at me all you want, but leave Rose out of this," I growled.

"I have every reason to be mad at her. She destroyed my chance at being Luna. You were supposed to be mine,"

"Enough, we will let her go, but first, you have to drink this," 

"What is it?" I asked

"It shouldn't matter. Just drink it," 

"Let Rose go, and then I will," I said

"Drink it, or we will kill Rose,"

I took the bottle they gave me and placed it to my lips.
