Jace's POV

I always knew something was wrong with Vivian. She was my twin, but I could tell by her actions that she was careless. I never felt the connection that other twins think with each other. 

Vivian and I are different in many ways. I am quiet while she is loud and always part of the crowd. Don't get me wrong, I am a famous person, and before, Lacy had a few girls, but I wasn't as bad as Derek on the part. Maybe because I was lucky to find Lace so early in life. I always tried to warn Derek about my sister not caring about anyone but herself, but he always thought I didn't like my sister.

I love my sister. She is my twin, but that doesn't change the person she is. When I heard my parents talking about Vivian being diagnosed as a psychopath, I knew it was the correct diagnosis. I have seen how she is manipulative, a compulsive liar, and lacks remorse. There are so many other things that prove it. I don't know why my mom would let my father tell her that it was not true. 

I walked to my parent's room and knocked on the door. My mom answered it with a warm smile on her face. She is the sweetest woman. I don't know how she ended up with my heartless father. He has never hurt my mother and treats her like a mate should, but to everyone else, he is heartless. I used to think that he cared for Vivian as well until I recently discovered that he had been putting poison in her tea. What type of father would do that?

"Alpha Michael wants to see you, father," I said, looking over at my father, who was standing by my mom.

"Why so he can banish me to," My father growled.

"Jacob, calm down. You need to go see what he wants," My mom said

He kissed my mom on the cheek and walked with me to Alpha Michael's office. The guards that Derek assigned followed behind. 

"What is this about," My dad asked

"Vivian," I replied. I wasn't going to tell him anything else.

"Youre on their side when your sister was just banished?" He asked

"You saw the tape. You know she was lying," I replied

"I can't believe you would betray your sister," 

I couldn't help but laugh at his words.

"I betrayed her? We both know that you are the one that has betrayed her the most. I used to think that you cared for her more than anyone else, besides mom. But now I know that you never cared for either of us,"I said and walked with him into Alpha Michael's office.

The only ones in the room were Alpha Michael and Derek. Everyone else had left. 

"You called for me?" My dad asked

"Yes, come sit down Jacob," Alpha Michael said

My dad sat down. I could tell he was nervous wondering what they wanted.

"We have learned some information about  Vivian that you have been hiding from us, " Alpha Michael said

"What have you heard?" My father asked

"Is it true that Vivian had seen a specialist that diagnosed her with being a psychpath?" Derek asked

My father looked at me for a moment and then turned back to them.

"I have no idea what you are talking about," my father said

"Are you sure about that?" Alpha Michael asked

"I don't know what you are talking about," 

"I know you are lying Jacob. You have been my Beta the whole time I have been Alpha. I have always seen you as a friend. Think about Veronica. If you don't tell the truth she can be prosecuted for holding back the truth about Vivian as well. You know that it is important to tell the counsel if you daughter was diagnosed with being a psychopath. Werewolf can be dangerous if not treated for illnesses like that," Alpha Michael said

"Don't bring Veronica into this," My father growled. 

"I know you care for her. You need to tell the truth," Alpha Michael said

My dad sighed before speaking

"We were told that there was a possibility that she could be a psychopath. But there is no way my daughter is one. Why does this matter anyway. You banished her from the Pack so it shouldn't matter to you," 

"Do you know where she went?" Derek asked

"No," My father said too quickly. I knew he was lying

"Are you sure?" Alpha Michael asked

"I don't know where she is," My father replied

"Okay, you can go" Alpha Michael said

"Jacob," Derek called before he left the room. My father turned and look at him

"I know you are lying. You better make sure she doesn't come back here or she will be put to death," Derek said

"I told you I don't know but if she contacts me I will tell her what you said My father said and turned to walk away

Before he could leave Derek called him again

"One more thing Jacob," Derek said and my father turned and looked at him again

"I know you had something to do with my mate being kidnapped. You will be tried soon for your betrayal," Derek said and my father face changed into total shock

"Guards, put him into a cell," Derek said

"Wait, I didn't have anything to do with it," My father said, while the guards took him to a cell

Derek walked over to me and put his hand on my shoulder

"Are you okay?" He asked 

"I'm fine. I know he deserves to be punished. I am just worried about my mom," I said

"We will make sure Veronica is fine. She and you are family," Alpha Michael said and I knew he meant it

I just hoped my mother would be okay once she found out everything that my father has done. She already lost her daughter. I didn't know how she would feel about losing her mate.
